Who here has read the books, because judging द्वारा some people's जवाब and questions, it doesn't seem like some people have...

Amen sista! (sorry, I couldn't help it.) I have been thinking about this for a while now.

I read the पुस्तकें in August 2008, just after the release of Breaking Dawn. I was only vaguely aware that there was even going to be a movie. I had a friend who was completely obsessed. She talked about it endlessly and I usually just tuned her out. Then I met another friend who liked it, and then a few more. And then when Breaking Dawn released, I went to one of those midnight parties with my friend because it sounded fun. I had a great time, someone even got proposed to, but I didn't really understand what the big deal was. So just a few days after that, I finally decided to give the पुस्तकें a chance, and I've been hooked ever since. I read non-stop for almost five days, and once I finished them all, I went online to दूध the internet for all the info I could get, which is when I really became aware of the movie. I know that when I read the books, the movie was right around the corner, but I was lucky because I still read before the movie craze began. It's tough for me to say why I'm a fan, but it's mostly just because I प्यार these books, and I care about the characters and the story. They were the first पुस्तकें that drew me in the way they did. They made me happy when times were tough. I just प्यार these books. And yeah, the पुस्तकें >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the movies. I do प्यार the movies, even though I know they aren't exactly cinematic art, I प्यार them. But the पुस्तकें are still a million times better, and will always hold a special place in my heart.

I read the पुस्तकें way before the फिल्में came out.

me i read all 4 and saw the फिल्में of aLL THREE!!! and i cant wait 4 breaking dawn

I read the पुस्तकें before I watched the movies. The books(and my Edward-obsessed bff) got me interested in the movies. But it was और the पुस्तकें that made me watch the movies.So yea I read the books.

I read the पुस्तकें and have them but that was a long tima पूर्व when I read them, when I was in the 7th grade, I'm going to be in high school in a few weeks.

of course i read the पुस्तकें before and then watched the फिल्में and i have to say that yes the पुस्तकें are better than फिल्में like always in my opinion anyway in this case(strange! generally isn't like this for me) i also प्यार the फिल्में also because i really like the actors and actress who are अभिनय this movies.Anyway my favourite character is Rosalie and one of my favourite actress(Nikki Reed) play this role in the फिल्में so... it's a perfect combination ;)

I read the पुस्तकें right after I saw Twilight. I saw Twilight the दिन it came out on DVD,so the दिन after that. I finished it in a दिन and a half then imediatly got the अगला books. So,I read the series pretty fast and read them each like 20 times and counting

I read them a couple months after Breaking Dawn came out. I didn't even know they were going to become movies. I'd fallen in प्यार with the books. I was already a Team Switzerland from the पुस्तकें and the फिल्में won't change that.
Does it bother anyone else how people are team Edward in the पुस्तकें then the movie makes them like Jacob more?

THANK YOU!!! I have been telling EVERYONE that... People are just so lazy. Theyd rather watch the movie, than sit down and read. Ugh. People are missing out on SO much when they skip the books.
