In Eclipse, does anyone know if the five people named in the first लेख of the vampir killing spree (in the very first chapter) are actually real people? या were they just made up.

They are made up because in the front of the पुस्तकें it say -The characters and events portrayed in this book are fictitious. Any similarity to a real person, living या dead, is coincidental and not intended द्वारा the author.- So Stephenie Meyer just made up those names just like the rest of the names in the book.

I think that Stephanie made them up. Either that या their based on real people and dhe's changed the names, but I don't think that's likely :) Hope that जवाब your question! (kind of)
