As many of आप are new , आप probably didn’t know Amph. Well Amph made rules for this club to keep this club from falling apart. When Amph left for Olympus , apparently so did the rules. And now the club is starting to fall apart. I know for a fact I don’t want this club falling apart, but to be blunt full that’s where its heading. I for 1 think its high time these rules were reinstated and mostly FOLLOWED. So now without here are the rules that Amph made.
So who better totell the rules then Amph herself.
So here in In Amph’s own exact words:

“Well, for those of आप who don't know, I'm Amphitrite, Amph for short. I've been here since the beggining and I, along with Roheha, really got this spot started. I've been gone for a while, up on Olympus...but I've returned, and I'm a little less than happy. Why? Well, I like my rules... a lot, and even though I'm one of the nicest people आप will talk to, I can get pretty mean and vindictive when things aren't done properly. I'm not saying anyone's been naughty या anything, but I think we need a refresher on the rules, and maybe a few और now that our community has grown द्वारा leaps and bounds. So, without further ado, the Rules. :)

First off, a primer of the senior members (I call them Admins). These are the ones to watch out for. They will रिपोर्ट and have rights to admonish people for violating the rules. If आप have any सवालों about anything ask these people and if आप see someone breaking the rules notify one of them.

RoHeHa_6264995 Roheha started the spot, although I'm pretty sure she's fallen silent again (been recalled to Olympus) she is the founder. She gets the honorary शीर्षक of Goddess of Antispam, meaning she really hates spam.

AmphitriteThat'd be me, your trusty sea goddess. I'm also a goddess on the spot. I am the Greek Myth Know-it-all, so if आप have a सवाल about something pertaining to the myths, just ask....I can tell आप everything from Hermes' sacred फूल (the Crocus) to Pegasus' twin brother's name (Chrysoar)

HecateA Hecate, also a goddess :) She has been in charge (or so I hope) while I've been gone. She also wrote many of the early लेखाए and I do believe I shall give her control of the Fanfiction section :)

Lighting98 A dear friend who has brought me up to तारीख, दिनांक on some problems.

redhawksShe helped run the ship while I was away.

(If आप think your name belongs here, send me a PM and I'll get आप on the list....please don't send me "How could आप forget about me" messages. It's been a while and I'm not sure who all is still active and who has taken off to Olympus)

Alright now lets start with the basic rules.

1. Do unto others as आप would have them do unto you. Nobody wants to be treated like crap, right? Well then be nice to everyone. There is to be no rude टिप्पणियाँ about anyone या I may just send the harpies after you. If आप have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all.

2. No spam! Spam is an unacceptable call for attention. If आप post something make sure it is relevant to the spot and the area where आप post it. And no topic stealing! This means don't go into a topic about Leo and suddenly change it into a conversation about Percy and Annabeth.

3.No discrimination! I don't care if the person is a 67 साल old Satanic Nazi woman with three blue eyes, a peg-leg, and 32 cats. No one will mention it. I'm mean it. If आप are creeped out द्वारा someone's/Religion/politcal beliefs/age, leave it alone unless they give आप good cause to worry, at which point send me या one of the other Admins a message letting us know about the supposed problem. And FYI, not every person over the age of 15 is a creep...I'm 21, and I'm not a creep :)

4.This is a spot for all प्रशंसकों of the Camp Half-Blood series', everyone is welcome :)

5. Please try to use proper grammar and spelling, yes we all make mistakes and, no, we aren't perfect, but please try to keep the bad grammar/spelling to a minimum. And text talk does not qualify as good grammar (Idk, lol,wtf,brb,ttyl, etc.) save it for your IMs and PMs.

6.If आप like something someone else has पोस्टेड like an लेख या प्रशंसक art, don't just leave a comment, but give them a little extra प्यार like fanning it and/or sending the author/poster/artist a prop.

7.Please don't post miscategorized content. If आप are posting प्रशंसक art, put it in the प्रशंसक art section not the आइकन या screen कैप्स sections. If आप are posting a प्रशंसक fiction, post it in the मंचों not the articles. Don't make a thread for a question, put those in the answer/picks. We want our spot to look neat, tidy and organized, don't we?

8.Use proper tags. If आप are posting a picture of Percy, don't tag it "Annabeth" "Luke" "Piper" Jason" "Thalia" simply tag it "Percy Jackson"

9. If आप are posting something that आप didn't make/write/whatever please give the creator credit. On pictures, simply putting "DeviantArt" in the credits section is unacceptable, deviantArt did not create it, an artist within the DeviantArt community did. Make sure that artist gets just credit :)

10. Please keep curse/cuss words to a minimum. We have young eyes that read our posts and टिप्पणियाँ so please be respectful. The only exception to this rule is in Fanfiction, but as per the fanfiction rules, आप must give your प्रशंसक fic a content rating. FYI, "crap" "dang" and "oh god/s" do not count as dirty words.

11. I will post this now so there is no confusion later. When a new preview/hint is published spoiler alerts will be in effect for 2 weeks. When a new book is published spoiler alerts will be in effect for at least 2 months after it is released. आप must post "Spoiler" in the heading of your article/thread etc. Please don't ruin things for the other fans.

12. As I've made painfully obvious, this is a हीरोस Of Olympus spot so keep that the main content. If आप want to talk Kane Chronicles या Hunger Games, there are spots for them as well as anything else आप can think of, so there is no need to discuss who should play Carter या Katniss here, या where in the world does James Patterson come up with his ideas, या what color nail polish would look pretty on Vanessa Hudgens.

Perseus54321 Why not have someone watch over each section of fanpop? I'd suggest that if that was what you were doing it now, keep doing it

partypony Wow, when I re-read this, I realized how many rules we've broken since this was made. Very refreshing. I'll keep this in mind... for as long as I can.

wierdo2 @ Aphrodite - Yes. This goes for everybody as well. When you see someone breaking the rules remind them. If they do it numerously do not hesitate to report them

arobair WOW what is this turning into a Bungie.net forum. Dude let me tell you something. This group is held together thru the fact that we all share a common bond, being that we all love, and cant wait for more of, The Heroes Of Olympus series, and dont need a set of rules to "keep this place from dieing" because we use the rules that common sense gave us and dont need moderators (idk why your calling them admins but watever) and people to cry to because those people CANT DO ANYTHING! The point of having moderators is to solve disputes and control us little ones Yes. But your defeating the purpose because a proper mod has power over da little guys, for example they can delete inappropriate comments, polls, questions, pics, etc... and some higher up ones can even rescind your membership from the group or ban you from it for a period of time. BUT THESE PEOPLE CAN DO NONE OF THAT DUH!! These rules were obviously made up by someone who wanted to look important on an internet group for some dumb reason and had nothing to back them up with or enforce them because THEY COULDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT except leave a comment to the person which people here will do if they dont like something. I dont want to be mean i get why your doing this its just not needed bro I rest my case (you probably should delete this article now since its pointless to leave up) Nigga out bruh

lenorg arobair is right in some things but for example the no spam thing thats for the owner of the furum, article question, poll, etc offer to decide if they care about spam in their furum, article question, poll, etc.

wierdo2 GUYS DON'T BE MEAN TO EACH OTHER. I'm just reposting the rules that already exist so everyone knew and wouldn't get reported. @ Aphrodite- I'm not making any new rules. I'm just reposting what Amphitrite (basically the goddess of this club) made so every body knows what they can and can't do. Thanx 4 the help. Though in the future when someone breaks a rule please just politely warn them. BTW- I AM a GUY. Amph is a girl however.

arobair Rebutle Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury, Gangster lol most of it is in perfect grammar (most not all) and if you knew you'd know why I have a spidy pic. I made a legit point that is completely true and cannot be denied so. And im not even trying to be mean in the slightest if I came off that way im sorry, really i hate hurting peoples feelings in anyway and i dont feel comfortable talking to the person who i hurt because i know what i did and cant pretend its all good. and regarding the h2o, hunger games, etc... its common sense you see and you cant do anything about it and people will still do it We are held together by a common interest not rules

athena305 @Arobair- Yes, we are [i]brought[/i] together by the common interest, but we are not held together by that. Sometimes just interest isn't enough. We have 1318 fans, a number that's growing every day. Being held together by 'common interest' is fine when there are less than 800 fans, but after that, things start winding down into chaos. I've been following this club for a while, way before I joined, and I've seen the way the spot used to be so close. Everyone knew each other. Of course, it's great that the spot is growing, no doubt about that, but when more people come, so does more trouble. It's like (and this is a very drastic analogy) a small country. You need a government to guide it in the right direction, otherwise it goes into shambles. These aren't rules so much as guidelines. And now it's time for my somewhat blunt criticism. It's just who I am. Sorry. Okay here I go. I find it somewhat pretentious that you initially presented a somewhat weak argument and then demanded that this article be deleted due to the fact that it is unnecessary in one person's eyes. Yes, you make a fair point, but part of debate is recognizing that there are other opinions. Sorry, I know I sound unspeakably rude but when something bothers me, I sort of have to get it out. Really, I'm not a mean person. I promise. *Hopefully smiles*

arobair Thanks dude i watch too much Law and Order haha @Athena305 you make a point i did get carried away everyone should see this and note their opinion cause its only fair BUT it still dosent change the FACT that you CANT enforce these rules BTW they're not guidelines because there common sense (same thing lol) and just over 1300 people is nothing hence why i mentioned Bungie because they have TENS of thousands of hormonal teenage GUYS raping their forums up and down and REQUIRE moderators, and they ACTUALLY give the groups the option to have mods themselves. Im confident the people here can control themselves (iv never met a consistent troublemaker on here ever! have you?)

redhawks Hm...Arobair~ I am making one post regarding this because I have better things to do then argue with you. 1) We can inforce the rules, by simply reporting your comments. If a bunch of people see that you broke a rule and we report it then that comment will get deleted. 2) It may be common sense to you, but not common sense to someone else. We make these rules to keep the spot nice and orderly. 3)Since your main point is that we can't do anything, and I obviously proved that wrong with statement 1, I beilive your agruement to me a false arguement. And for my legal vocabulary I declare, arobai, guiltiy of a false accusation, based off of lack of evidence.

arobair sorry for wasting your time with a comment that took 30 seconds to type but its nice to see you guys voicing your opinions =) on with the trial! first off my main point was about the rules being common sense and about the moderators not being able to do anything if you actually thought about what i said you would see the underlying point which is that we dont need these rules or mods for that fact because like you said if you think something is inappropriate you can report it and get it deleted but you dont need mods and these rules to do that nonetheless rules that we had no say in making, Amph just put em up because it what she thought was best for everybody not what everybody thought was appropriate it would be nice if we revamped based on a vote from everyone in the group and made them more detailed like going into the rules for individual forums and articles and then the rules for stuff that appears on the home page and i still dont think we need this and especially dont need moderators and on ur legal vocabulary, it is less than satisfactory because ur obviously arguing a point which makes you a lawyer and attorneys can't declare anything, deciding weather a defendant is guilty or not guilty is the job of the jury and you got my name wrong

HecateA Okay- I don't watch Law and Order so sorry if my vocabulary ruins the whole thing. A few of the original (meaning old) members have already discussed the idea of admins- or moderators. And some of us were assigned things. Amphitrite is the article goddess so she watches over articles, sonofboreas got forums, I got fanfiction (which I still tell too- I nag people who don't have intros or chapter stories in forums and so forth), red has picks, lightning98 got forums and so forth. But as of 3 of those people -or 2- aren't around this spot anymore, we might have to redistribute. I'm willing to redistribute since I was one of the first admins- but if anybody thinks that I or this is too bossy, than speak up. But the idea is worth resurfacing with members that are around still. Only one thing to say about this article; can you please include a link to the article on the fanfiction rules? Because the fanfiction thing is BIG on this clue. Or mammoth. sonoboreas Personally, I think it is just easier to have mods and admins. We wouldn't be monarchs and such; demanding control of the entire club. We would watch for anything that breaks the rules and basing on the degree of the offense we would either give a warning or flag. This club is huge and frankly a little out of control. If it was me, I would say making all the useless "whoz hotter" picks and questions is against the rules. But that would be taking away the rights of the fans who are on the same level as everyone else. And it's not like we are the sole people who are allowed to do this. Anyone can feel free to register to become a mod. All of this will ensure the club's cleanliness and security. Also, there is no reason to deny this. What is the harm in it and yes we can do something about the certain posts that break the rules. We personally flag them then inform others to do the same. I also take offense to you, Arobair, saying:"These rules were obviously made up by someone who wanted to look important on an internet group for some dumb reason". It's obvious to anyone that is an older member, before TLH came out, that that statement is extremely far from the truth. The user Amhitrite had only the best of intentions for this site and was just as dedicated as RoHeHa and HecateA. And that is just naming a few. But to some people these rules are not common sense. And that is not anything against them, they just personally never thought about it. That is what we are trying to do; spread the word.
