So...I begin this द्वारा saying that I am an adult प्रशंसक of Ariel. Impacted द्वारा The Little Mermaid from the age of 9, I am an adult collector, and I currently have Ariel ALL OVER my adult bedroom.

I commend लेखक Liz Braswell on her "nods" to the elements found in the original 1989 film that is known world over. Some passages of the book she has written made sense to me, while other parts did not. *Eric getting a tattoo was not one of my stand-out प्रिय moments, and it jarred with all of the proceeding characterization दिया to him द्वारा the author*

I suppose, for those who didn't प्यार Ariel's original personality--- her impulsiveness, wit, and curiosity--- "seeing Ariel now 'reigned in' द्वारा ponderous adult responsibilities" provides a dimension that they'll appreciate more. Ariel spends most of the entirety of this book "as क्वीन of Atlantica." There. No और spoilers. I, whose childhood was erected in much the same repressed household that Ariel's character "sprouted from," doesn't feel like "more was added to the character of Ariel" द्वारा having the mermaid "stripped of her dreams"--- and "saddled with guilt." This book focuses heavily on an Ariel who "is riddled with guilt for having wanted to be a human." पढ़ना it, makes me wonder how this Ariel is really the same as the one in the 1989 film? If the 1989 film was about a strict parent (Triton) "relaxing his stranglehold on young adulthood," then this book really is about "a psychologically damaged adult mermaid" trying to "rectify problems that she did not, herself, create, but was merely 'a pawn' in, in the first place."
I don't understand the need for feminist trappings in this book, but like every डिज़्नी movie या डिज़्नी book these days, here the feminism is sprinkled heavily in as a हलवाई की दुकान, कन्फेक्शनरी treat--- meant "to liven up the contents of whatever was already sweet” and "make it palatable for the newest consumers." Ariel was already a feminist character in 1989. Here in 2021, some 36 years later, she still causes a stir. There is no real need for "more feminist flourishes" on her character. Within this book, there is some lingering purulent odor, almost catering to the exact audience who has all these years "wished for Ariel to be punished" because she dared to leave the nest, and didn't want to be a mermaid in the first place.

Funnily enough, this version of Ariel LOVES her duality, and she prefers being a mermaid OVER being a human for much of the book. Talk about a 180 degree flip in identity issues. I found myself wondering how Howard Ashman would take all of this…

That being said, most of the nearly 500 pages of this book consist of very melancholy proceedings, not much helped द्वारा the villain's presence. As to Ursula's "goings on," this occurs only midway through the book. We only grasp how much of "a real presence and villainous" Ursula is, during the last third of the book. ( I suppose, I wish डिज़्नी had clued Liz Braswell in on the "true reason Ursula got exiled द्वारा Triton"--- which would have made for a far better story overall--- hence, why I picked this book up in the first place! But alas. No true reason is revealed for why Ursula originally got ostracized. Bdumptsss).
Braswell is good at moving the audience to pity over the plight of Ariel's "lost voice, her लॉस्ट father, and her लॉस्ट future with Eric." Braswell also is good at moving us to pity over the loss of Eric's "awareness" and "his agency." This premise of this book is that Eric "was stripped of his agency" just as Ariel "was stripped of her voice." This made for rather funereal proceedings as it were.
I am not exactly thrilled after पढ़ना this book, and neither am I totally disappointed. The "whiff" I got, along with Max, was that "nothing really new could happen for Atlantica या Eric's Kingdom even if Ursula won the game of dupes, and ruled over all." This was a let-down for me, because honestly, I was looking for why Ursula became so hell bent on revenge in situ.
Should आप read this book as an Ursula fan? As an Ariel fan? As a प्रशंसक of neither one? Sure! It won't hurt to read it. But would I recommend this as something that should find a major place on your bookshelf at home? Nope. I think it's an "okay riff" on the musical piece that already exists. This entry into the plethora of The Little Mermaid पुस्तकें neither improves nor diminishes the original characters, and it certainly doesn't improve on the original context and plot. I became frustrated that the care-free aspect was very much annihilated. The original feel of Ariel being synonymous with "fun" and "exploration" was लॉस्ट to me, until the very last pages.

हे guys! For this लेख I'm going to go through all the DPs in order and say which of their hairstyles is my favorite. Anna and Elsa will be in this list, but unless आप think of the length of a braid as a spoiler there probably won't be spoilers. And this is all original movie, no sequels! With all that said, let's start with the list:

Snow White's Red Bow Hairstyle
Snow White only has two hairstyles, this one and the same hair with a blue bow, but I think the bright red color is a good contrast to her hair, and it brings out the red in her lips.

Yawn, too tired to think of anything else to do with my hair...

I didn't add Pocahontas and Snow White because while I do like their outfits, I didn't really have any other outfit to choose from.

8. Mulan's गुलाबी Dress
I प्यार its simplicity and I प्यार that it's colorful but the रंग still mesh well together. It looks lovely on Mulan.

7. Ariel's Sparkly Dress
It definitely stands out, it's so sparkly. Her body looks nice in that dress.

6. Aurora's Peasant Dress
It's a little too simple to make it further but I absolutely प्यार the colors. It looks so elegant on Aurora.

5. Belle's Green Dress
Again, it's a little simple but I think it looks...

Here are the results about positions 41-48 of the डिज़्नी Princess Sequel Outfit Countdown, voted द्वारा public.

48. Jasmine: Peacock Outfit (Disney Princess: एनचांटेड Tales – Follow Your Dreams)

I was a little surprised to see that people hate this outfit so much; it's true, the डिज़ाइन is horrible, but personally it's not my least प्रिय dress. Well, as we know, चमेली also very despises this outfit.

This is my personal सूची of the prettiest डिज़्नी princesses. Again, this is just an opinion and their is no right या wrong.I will also be rating the princesses in a mark I find fair (out of 10)

11) Merida (Brave)
I think her round face is what bothers me the most. It looks just like a big,fat circle, although her freckles fit her quite well. Her hair looks like she hasn't brushed it in year. And no, I'm not saying curls are ugly, but I think hers has too many volume.Don't get me wrong, she is pretty but she can't compare to other princesses.
Rate: 4

10) मूलन (Mulan)
I think मूलन is pretty too,...

Last but not least, Rapunzel. Finally, I'm done. A honourable mention for Taylor Swift. People say she should play सिंडरेला but I say Rapunzel.

5.Kaley Cuoco
She looks like an older version of Rapunzel, at least in terms of facial features. Kaley can obviously do well with male co-stars and has that comedic edge to play the role.

4.Kristen Bell
A perfect example of an actress who did a great tv series but now does awful movies. Kristen is a very talent actress who can certainly bring life to Rapunzel.

3.Hayden Panettiere
An actress who seems to be eternally young. Hayden could...

Ariel is probably the hardest princess to find अभिनेत्रियों for. Alot of the women who play could her, like Alyson Hannigan, are alittle old now. Anyway don't expect to see Amy Adams because she's already Giselle and I find her very unnattractive.

5.Emma Stone
Even though Emma is pretty much the princess of Hollywood right now, I don't think she's that good of choice to play Ariel. Sure she has red hair and blue eyes but I don't think she's ever played a role similar to a bubbly princess. Which is why she's at the bottom.

4.Miley Cyrus
I know guys, but let's face it, She Looks Like Ariel....

I figured I'd make my सूची of my प्रिय डिज़्नी princess sequels since most people who make these just hate on them while I like them all. First of all I wanna say एनचांटेड Tales isn't a sequel. It's just a special for little girls the ages of 4-8. It's just something to teach girls lessons and is too short to be an actual movie. It's cute but nothing to be compared to the sequels. Please टिप्पणी दे but keep in mind this is just my opinion, enjoy.

10.Pocahontas 2: Journey To A New World

Use to I hated this movie with a passhion but now I like it. It has some good songs, especially where...

बियॉन्से Knowles is pretty much the biggest female artist in the world right now and she has ton a songs. So much I can barely keep track of them and I'm just talking about the ones that have संगीत वीडियो to them. Obviously, most if not all of her songs are about women. So I figured I could find a song to fit each डिज़्नी Princess. I already made a video/slideshow for it link So let's take a look at the songs I picked.
Snow White-Crazy In Love
This song probably matches the princess the least. It doesn't really fit her personaltiy and neither does the संगीत video. In fact, none of her songs...

10.Aurora
The most feminine princess in the bunch but that really isn't saying much. Aurora is one of the और attractive, Barbie-esque, princesses which again isn't saying much, but the सूची और या less based on personality and Aurora just doesn't cut it. Granted she didn't have much time for us to get to know her, the movie was mostly focused on the fairies. Let's just admit it Aurora really is just another pretty face, she's totally hot but that's about it.

All right, here's the results of the Favourite Pocahontas Character Countdown! And also my first article, so take a look at the results and (hopefully) enjoy!

15. Ratcliffe
The bad guy of the movie proves to be the least favourite character of most fanpoppers too. Not surprising, considering he isn't one of the most powerful villains in डिज़्नी history. He's just greedy and doesn't understand the Indians. Nothing that makes आप hide behind the सोफ़ा, सोफे with your hands over your eyes.
