We have a discussion on the मंचों here about noteworthy things in twilight. I picked Angela, and now I realize that Jessica is noteworthy, too.

We'll start with Jessica!Hate. Besides Lauren, Jessica is probably the most hated human friend that Bella has. Reasons Twilighters give for this are 'Jessica is a brat', 'she ignores her in book two', 'she's too hyper', and 'i just don't like her'. Some of those are just ridiculous. 'Jessica is a brat'. How? How is Jessica a brat? Answer: She isn't. 'she ignores bella in book two' I'll elaborate on this one later, because it's pretty big. 'shes...

Preface:
I have read all पुस्तकें and seen the movies.
Most importantly, the fact that it’s कल्पना doesn’t excuse the themes and messages in the book. Fiction is merely a vehicle humans developed to communicate important lessons, values and philosophies. I am not claiming any of the implications I discuss were intentional on SMeyer’s part. Whether या not the लेखक या readers are aware of it, though, the Twilight series communicates dangerous messages about what is acceptable या admirable या desirable.
Also, I highly recommend link. It’s long, but fascinating and deeper than the पुस्तकें themselves....

Credit to _lina_ and cinders, because they did it first. और credit to link because that's where this is from. _lina_ used the same one.

Number 1: Someone tells आप या he admits that he has hit women in the past. He has talked about his killing sprees, he has killed another woman (Yes, she is a vampire. Who cares?) in front of her. Check!

Number 2: He refers to all women he has dated in the past with derogatory terms. He may also refer to his mother using such terms as well. Not sure about checking this one या not. He says she is the first one he dated, but then he talks of Tanya,...

I’ve read many lists pointing out Twilight “Plot Holes”, but और often than not, the lists aren’t very valid at all. Half of them are usually just complaints, pointing out something they don’t like about Twilight (Example:” Why would वैंपायर go to high school?”, या “Why does Bella have so many friends?”). The rest are just factually incorrect, या can be logically theorized. These are usually followed द्वारा “Stephenie Meyer obviously ditched history class”, या “Hasn’t Stephenie ever heard of logic?”, या my personal favorite, “I would know, I had a lesson about it...

{edited, added some stuff, just an informal consideration of a few of the arguments that support the accusation}

"Bella हंस is a sociopath."

It’s an extreme statement, to be sure. However, it’s not one to be dismissed offhand, without consideration towards its arguments.

First, here are a couple definitions of the term sociopath.
-Random House Dictionary:
a person, as a psychopathic personality, whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility या social conscience.
-American Heritage Dictionary of Cultural Literacy:
Someone whose social behavior is extremely abnormal....

I would like to note that anne चावल wrote the entire series before Meyer in case any idea's that anne चुरा लिया it from stephanie __________________________________________________

1. The character louis thinks he deserves to be in hell....hmmmm sound familar to another vampire?Edward perhaps

2.Animal Blood can be drank द्वारा वैंपायर but they prefer human blood in Interview with a Vampire AND Twilight soon followed this way

3. The वैंपायर skin dazzles humans apparently....Which is a lot like the sparkling skin that the cullens posess

4. There are immortal children in both of the books. The unnamed children...

Lately, I've heard and seen jokes and टिप्पणियाँ about Edward being "pathetic" या "gay" because he was a 100 साल old virgin. I've written this लेख to state that I see no problem in him being a virgin. I feel that virginity is not something to poke fun at. It simply means that someone wants to save themselves for that special someone whom they are going to spend the rest of their life with. I myself am a virgin and plan to stay that way until I get married.

However, I am somewhat confused. If Edward has lived for 100 years and has yet to give himself to anyone, then why does he decide to have...

Disclaimer: The शीर्षक of the लेख may seem to be a bit strange, as most of my लेखाए that I have पोस्टेड on here are usually issues I have with the Twilight Saga, but I decided that myself as an anti, wanted to write about things I actually do like about the series. Guarantee, I actually do think Stephanie Meyer did create some characters in this series, and I just wanted to सूची my चोटी, शीर्ष 8. This will be in no particular order.

I don't like Twilight. I find the characters shallow; the plot boring and cliche; and the hidden messages frightening. But in the hands of another लेखक - someone who wouldn't let their religious upbringing, their misogynistic views, and their twisted romantic ideals colour the story - it could have been really fantastic.

First off, the grammar would have to be fixed. The purple prose minimised and the संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर लेखन polished up.

Next the characters would have to be made realistic, their actions have an effect on the plot, and their history an effect on them.

Take Rosalie, for example. If Rosalie's...

1. In Twilight, the "romance" as they call it is just there from the beginning. In Percy Jackson and the Olympians (We'll call it PJO), the Percy-Annabeth relationship was apparent from the start, but built up until the किस in Battle of The Labryrinth and eventually their relationship began in The Last Olympian.
2. In Battle Of The Labryrinth, Percy ran into Greek mythology's equivilent to vampires: the empousai. These were ugly creatures who had flaming hair, one goat leg, one metal leg, fangs, were deadly poisonous, and usually disguised themselves as mean cheerleaders. In Twilight, the...

OK, this is my very first लेख - I have never written an लेख for फैन्पॉप before. It's a poor excuse if this turns out to be the poorest लेख ever submitted, but I'm going to use it anyway... please go easy on me xD. This is LONG, so भालू with me, I appreciate it!

I have been wondering for some time now about Bella's vulnerability, state of mind, and संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर mental well-being. New Moon, in the beginning, was my favourite book of the series, for two reasons: Jacob Black was instantly likeable and interesting, winning the शीर्षक of my favourite character, but also the black hole that Bella...

Okay most of the Twilight- Haters would say that Edward is too old for Bella and that make him paedophile but I don't think so (not only because I am twilight fan) is because that Edward is literally 17 and he feels and thinks as a 17 साल old. I mean take someone आप know is really smart that doesnt mean they are have lived any longer than आप have they just learnt और in the years they have lived. I bet आप they still act their age.
To be quite honest I know a programme that is aired in India as well as here where the Guy is at least 55 years old with 5 kids three of them older than the girl...

1. Twilight is the product of an immature writer. It reads like something out of my notebook from freshman year.
2. The only difference between Twilight and fanfiction.net is marginally better grammar.
3. And even that isn’t so great sometimes. English major fail.
4. I’ve read fanfiction that is lightyears better than Twitripe.
5. The prose is purple amethyst! Deep, luscious, dazzling amethyst that scintillates and glitters incandescently in the sun!
6. Not to mention, it’s also insanely repetitive.
7. THESAURUS ABUSE! Fancy words are not necessarily better words.
8. The storyline is trite and...

Okay, i decided to write a critical analysis of a character from the twilight series. My first choice would have been to do one on Bella Swan, but there is already a whole spot dedicated to that, so i decided on my सेकंड choice: Edward Cullen. So I hauled out all my Twilight पुस्तकें and combed through them, analyzing and taking notes. Please leave a टिप्पणी दे on my critical analysis telling me what आप think, what आप agree on and what आप disagree on. Please no nasty comments. Enjoy!

Okay, number one...one of the reasons Twilight is so dramatic and sometimes just plain depressing is because...

Hi there! This is my first लेख on the C.A.T spot, about my least प्रिय character in twilight. Actually, my least प्रिय character in history.

Bella Swan.

I seriously can't see why so many twilight प्रशंसकों like her. She is कहा to be selfless, caring, understanding, and a good role model...when really she's the most selfish character in the whole book series.
Now then, here are several reasons why I dislike Bella.

1) Lack outside of Edward

Has Bella -even once- mentioned in any of the novels what she wanst to do with her life? (Besides wanting to be a vampire to be with Edward forever) Not...

I've talked about some of the things that crossed my mind when पढ़ना Twilight in the past. Thoughts such as "when is Bella going to freak out about the Edward watching her sleep thing?" "Did that say sparkling? I've re-read that passage like, four times and it still seems to say sparkling" "Does Stephanie Meyer think deer is a vegetable? no, really does she? Does she think आप can call yourself a vegetarian if आप don't eat things like people या those monkeys who know sign language?"
But those are valid thoughts that many people पढ़ना the पुस्तकें also thought (well, maybe not specifically...

I am totally ignoring Breaking Dawn in this because Stephenie Meyer broke all the rules in there. [Vampires cant have children, they have no body fluids, etc etc]
Reasons i think Jacob is better for Bella than Edward is:
1. Edward/Bellas relationship is based on appearance. She is constantly talking about how good he looks, how velvety his voice is, how graceful he is, etc. She कहा Jacob was beautiful once या twice and called his new muscles impressive once या that she is jealous of his tan skin. She thinks Edward is too good for her because she looks plain अगला to him. She thinks Jacob is too...

Analyzing the Twilight Phenomena

First off, I’d like to mention that I am not a psychologist. Everything आप read is just my own analyzing and since I am interested in Psychology and Behaviorism I decided to make an लेख of what I think is the basic reason for Twilight’s enormous popularity. I hope आप will enjoy it.

Recently I came across a post at the मंचों that कहा about Twilight: ” [it’s] a bit childish to say its a failure, because if it is, then why do so many people (And not just crazy teenage girls either) प्यार Twilight huh?”.

I have seen this argument countless of times...

Dear Ms. Meyer,

Hi. I’m Tria. It’s nice to meet you. As आप have probably guessed, I am लेखन to आप concerning your series known as “The Twilight Saga.” If you’ll forgive me for being rude, I’d like to be blunt.

You fail.

Again, apologies for my rudeness. If you’ll allow me, I’m going to back up this assumption of your literary failure.

Let’s start with the plots, looking at each book individually, and then the पुस्तकें as a whole.
Twilight: Barely has a plot. The book is 300 या so pages of nothing happening besides mooning on about Edward and his eyes. Then आप throw in three...
