Already I have read so many negative posts about whether ALW is creating a catastrophe with Love Never Dies. Many are displeased with his drawing on the Manhattan book...because the book was disliked by so many.

Will "Love Never Dies" be nearly as good as Phantom.....probably not. How could anything be? For those of us who have seen Phantom on Broadway, we know that nothing will ever compare. It is ALW's lifetime masterpiece. Anything would fall short compared to it.

Therefore, I for one, intend to just accept Love Never Dies for what it is......another ALW creation and not try and compare it with Phantom. I am sure that it will be entertaining in itself. I hope I get to see it.

These, of course, are just my personal feelings. I relish the thought of being able to talk with others about anything new pertaining to Phantom. If nothing else, Love Never Dies may open Phantom up to a whole new generation. Who knows....it may run another twenty plus years.
