 The Writer Behind the Words
The Writer Behind the Words
Luck has little to do with link. A long lasting लेखन career doesn’t just happen. A writer can burst onto the scene and quickly disappear. Another can have a series of hits then write a bunch of flops and never be heard from again. The difference between a long lasting career and one that burns out is strategy. Here are seven rules to help आप find the right strategy for आप and get आप started on your journey to long lasting success.

Learn the power of focus. For most of us, we have और than enough to do on a daily basis. And when it comes to any लेखन project the सूची can grow exponentially- आप have a blog to write, a monthly newsletter to keep up with, two deadlines for upcoming books, a speaking engagement and more. A long “To Do List” can be overwhelming and for many of us can lead to procrastination, confusion या just plain paralysis! The solution? Do one thing at a time. Come up with a goal for the day. लेखन या marketing? Then do the tasks that will accomplish that goal. If आप have extra time आप can focus on other less pressing tasks.

Keep moving. Humans are smart. Sometimes too smart. Many times obstacles come in our way like a पेड़ in the middle of the road and instead of going around it, we try to chop it down या climb over it. Don’t focus on the obstacles. A rejection is an obstacle but instead of focusing on it हटाइए to the अगला submission या work on something else. So your first play wasn’t the greatest, start your अगला one; okay so your प्रिय editor left your magazine, try to woo the new one. Don’t focus on the roadblock. Go around it.

Don’t use a shovel to eat soup. Use the right tools that work for your project. Whether it is the tool of language (different language is used in romantic fiction versus कल्पना या literary) या software. However, आप don’t need all of the latest technology to be a prosperous writer. I still write all of my initial story ideas long hand before entering them on my computer. To help ‘speed’ the process, a साल पूर्व I bought a Neo AlphaSmart that has helped me capture ideas and bits and pieces of my manuscript and अपलोड it directly to my computer, but my handwritten notes are still my old standby. There are a lot of reasons to spend money, new software, लेखन books, gadgets that promise to make your लेखन life easier, choose only the ones आप really need.

Time stops for no man. How आप spend your present time dictates your future. Daydream about लेखन and months later you’ll have a lovely daydream and nothing to दिखाना for it. If आप envision a book write it every day, if not every दिन at least every week. With our busy lifestyle many of us--beginner and professional writer – let time get away from us. For some of us, we are always trying to ‘find’ time to complete या start our अगला manuscript. Time never stands still so it’s up to आप to grab a hold of it rather than waiting for it to be ‘enough’. I know a dear friend of mine who when she was working full-time always dreamed of being able to stay घर and paint. She now works from home, but still doesn’t find enough time. Why? Because she hasn’t learned the importance of time management. She fills her time with activities that don’t get her close to her dream of painting. So now every दिन she puts in a half घंटा when she must paint and is working towards her dream of being a full-time artist. Time is not the enemy, how आप use it is. So be conscious of what आप do with it. You’ll be surprised how far you’ll go.

Be your own cheerleader not your opponent. We all suffer from doubts, but don’t let your inner critic stop you. When a baby is learning to walk she’ll fall down a lot. She’ll get bruised and cry, but in order to master the skill she’ll need to keep on getting up and trying again and again. We understand that falling is part of the process, but for some reason as adults we’ve become averse to falling. We’ve interpreted it as ‘failing’ and it is. But one must fail his way to success. When आप fail at something, instead of letting the critic have the final say, replace it with your inner cheerleader. The one that says, “That’s okay, keep going.” या “I know it didn’t work this time, but अगला time will be better.” Like the baby learning to walk we have to keep getting up. One rejection letter या two hundred should not stop आप from building your लेखन career. So an editor didn’t like your latest story, come up with something else या प्रस्तुत करे to a different editor. Every career will have its ups and downs. The ones that burn out are the ones that hit the floor and stay there.

Claim your status. Whether you’re published या unpublished claim the fact that you’re a writer. Don’t wait for someone else to give आप that validation. Once again your inner critic may be saying, “I’m not a real writer because I haven’t published anything.” या “I’m not a real writer because I’m not published in hardback.” “I’m only a genre writer; I’ll be a real writer when I’m in mainstream.” या “I’ve only been published in the community newsletter I’m not a real writer like a journalist.” If आप write, you’re a writer. आप don’t need anyone’s permission. However, I will caution you, if आप make this claim, take the necessary steps आप need to grow your skills as a writer. On the flip side there are a number of people who proudly call themselves writers, but never grow in their craft and their careers shows this lack. So constantly strive to be a better writer. This can be accomplished in many ways, online workshops, attending a conference, taking college courses, self-development द्वारा reading, etc. Don’t ever stand still.

Be flexible. Successful लेखन careers are rarely linear. Writers have to take detours when a magazine closes या a new editor hates the writer’s work. A successful mystery series suddenly becomes stale या market trends change the type of work that is accepted. Stretch your लेखन muscles so that your career can always take a new and exciting journey. Do आप write poems? Try लेखन an लेख on poetry. Perhaps that could lead to a book. If your novel isn’t selling, perhaps serialize it online या take the theme and write a short story. Fiction authors try non-fiction. Don’t let yourself be victim to the whims of the industry.

Success is mainly strategy. Writers whose careers have lasted haven’t been without failure, disappointment and setbacks, but these individuals have learned how to हटाइए आगे on the goals they’ve set for themselves. Hopefully with these seven rules आप can linkfor success.

What do आप want from me?
A tortured body?
A broken soul?

What do आप expect to happen?
As आप kick me down
As आप rip me apart

Tell Me!!!!!!!!!!

What do आप want to happen?
As I close my eyes
And take my last breath

I कहा I would stay
Till I took my last moment
But now I'm leaving
A victim no more

I lived with your love
The प्यार आप showed with your fist
I died because of that love
Your प्यार was only Hate

Now someone else will take my place
Will live with your kind of love
Now someone else will receive your lies
Will know your treachery

What did I expect?
That you'd change?
That you'd learn to love?

What did I ever...

One afternoon, Sapphire sat in her room, on her bed, quietly दिवास्वप्न with her headphones in. Her eyes were glazed over, and she was in her own magical world.
Sapphire entered the sparkling cave in the middle of the forest. Her blue dress was tattered, and her misty गुलाबी fairy wings were damp from the moist, warm air. But she was feeling fine.
Sapphire took a few steps into the sparkling cave. It was made entirely of ice and crystal. Trickling water could be heard as miniature streams fell continuously from the ceiling. Icy stalagmites stood firmly in the cold crystal floor. Icicles hung from...

The air was still as if it were holding its breathe waiting for me as I approached the ledge. I could feel myself pushing back tears as I clutched the fragile locket in my hands; I traced its dainty designs with my finger. "So mom and dad are getting the divorce after all. I guess आप were right E. I don't know why I ever doubted आप about that one I mean it was obvious! I guess I tried to block it out like what happened......" I muttered looking up at the milky white moon. It seemed to look down at me with sympathetic beams of light. My hands gripped the marble ledge tighter. "Eliza it's been...

It’s the color of you
आप always wore it
It’s the color we shared
As we hid from them

With it we showed our true selves,
Though no one cared
Our नारंगी, ऑरेंज book bags
Were our shields from some of the pain

We protected each other
But it wasn’t enough
We were like two नारंगी, ऑरेंज crayons
When everyone else was green

Then आप left me alone,
All I had was our color orange
As they hit me
I took peace in knowing
आप were in the नारंगी, ऑरेंज field in the sky
आप always कहा was there.

The नारंगी, ऑरेंज of the sun set
Is your smile
Even though आप left too soon

Orange…

Now it’s my color
My way of remembering you
Now I am the lone नारंगी, ऑरेंज in the rainbow
Without आप here

I protect my own
Though I wish आप were here

Now नारंगी, ऑरेंज is my color
A color for your bravery
A color for my survival

नारंगी, ऑरेंज will forever be our color
Even though death took आप away

Forever नारंगी, ऑरेंज for you,
Sweet Cassidy.
Hello to the cold world, I was named Max Lee Moore द्वारा the parents who absolutely despise me. I am sixteen years old at the moment, will be turning seventeen on June 27th. But who gives a crud? आप know what I receive for my birthday every year? For how old I am, like sixteen. I get sixteen whips from a belt. My dad doesn't live with me anymore to whip me, so there's my mother. She gets a kick out of every whip. It seems to make her ecstatic. Each whip equals to one of her evil laughs. She whips me any chance she wants to. It pains me so much that I'm surprised I haven't committed suicide yet....

Violently, the ground shook,
As the mountain exhaled black smoke.
Overwhelmed, they ran for cover,
Those left began to choke.
Cherished, were the possessions left behind,
Melted and scattered as ash.
Beloved, the children lost,
They couldn’t make a तत्पर, तेज, स्विफ्ट dash.
Darkened, the cloudy heavens above,
Black clouds fell from the sky.
Covered, the people escaping,
With no way out they began to die.
Lost, the souls of the trapped,
A snatched half-chance at life.
Fallen is Pompeii;
Civilisation, प्यार and it’s people’s cries.

Hows it going do आप think?

Our story begins with an elf gliding through the trees. His lean body let him jump from पेड़ to पेड़ as if he were flying.
It was spring, his प्रिय time of the year. The daffodils and forsythia were in bloom, and the trees were once again turning green. He stopped on a particularly large branch and looked up into the clear sky. His dark blue eyes without the memories of the horrors of war, his skin without the scars of the torture it brings. For he was yet young, and all the time he has been alive has been peaceful.
He flew once और through the trees. He loved...

I don't know about other people, but I've began to notice that we are relying on teachnology way too much!

Yes this सवाल has been suggested to most of us before (most commonly द्वारा our parents). But this time it's different. It is normal for parents to think that teenagers are obsessed with our I-pods, i-phones, laptops या other. This is normal because our parents didn't have things like this when they were younger.

Most adults where I live including my parents didn't have the internet growing up. They all had to either go to the librery for information या have a collection of encyclopidias...

Authors note: Hi, this is my first time publishing something that wasn't प्रशंसक fiction but its what I've been passionate about forever. So please forgive the inconsistent rhyming.

If I never saw आप again.

How happy my life would be!

I'd be jumping up and down the walls so full of glee!

No और nagging!

No और griping!

No और constant whining!

No और rants about how dreadful your life is!

I could be free from the locks that is your torn up mind, no longer a prisoner in my own home.

Aw the very thought of never hearing your voice again fills me with so much joy!

No और yelling!

No और shrieking!

No more...

Dear diary.
Wow what a cheesy start to a diary entry! I don't understand how a diary is supposed to work, there doesn't seem to be much point. I guess it is best to begin as to why I have to write here anyway.

I have been having many so called, misunderstandings at school. And after a lot of parent teacher meetings they have decided to send me to a counsellor.
There I met this man named Dr Fey (weird name I know).

He कहा that I needed to find a way of expressing my feelings. That is where this diary comes in. He explained that in-order to get rid of my socialophobia (afraid of social confrontation)...

From within the दिल of the forsaken village, the sleepy sun creeps out from the silent clouds it had been hiding behind for the past few days. Skies are blue, but only just, as the rain only fell yesterday, pouring onto the pavements below. The sun's shining streaks plaster the stony ground, creating light, dusty shadows of the villagers; their never-ending work continuing throughout the day. Children from the village play on the cobbles, darting and weaving in and out of the few passers-by on the quiet streets, chasing after each other without a worry in the world. The smiles on their faces...

One side of the room was simply all cupboards and drawers of all different shapes and coloured. Ember’s curiosity burned but she was distracted द्वारा a large woman wearing an apron.
