 The Writer Behind the Words
The Writer Behind the Words
Luck has little to do with link. A long lasting लेखन career doesn’t just happen. A writer can burst onto the scene and quickly disappear. Another can have a series of hits then write a bunch of flops and never be heard from again. The difference between a long lasting career and one that burns out is strategy. Here are seven rules to help आप find the right strategy for आप and get आप started on your journey to long lasting success.

Learn the power of focus. For most of us, we have और than enough to do on a daily basis. And when it comes to any लेखन project the सूची can grow exponentially- आप have a blog to write, a monthly newsletter to keep up with, two deadlines for upcoming books, a speaking engagement and more. A long “To Do List” can be overwhelming and for many of us can lead to procrastination, confusion या just plain paralysis! The solution? Do one thing at a time. Come up with a goal for the day. लेखन या marketing? Then do the tasks that will accomplish that goal. If आप have extra time आप can focus on other less pressing tasks.

Keep moving. Humans are smart. Sometimes too smart. Many times obstacles come in our way like a पेड़ in the middle of the road and instead of going around it, we try to chop it down या climb over it. Don’t focus on the obstacles. A rejection is an obstacle but instead of focusing on it हटाइए to the अगला submission या work on something else. So your first play wasn’t the greatest, start your अगला one; okay so your प्रिय editor left your magazine, try to woo the new one. Don’t focus on the roadblock. Go around it.

Don’t use a shovel to eat soup. Use the right tools that work for your project. Whether it is the tool of language (different language is used in romantic fiction versus कल्पना या literary) या software. However, आप don’t need all of the latest technology to be a prosperous writer. I still write all of my initial story ideas long hand before entering them on my computer. To help ‘speed’ the process, a साल पूर्व I bought a Neo AlphaSmart that has helped me capture ideas and bits and pieces of my manuscript and अपलोड it directly to my computer, but my handwritten notes are still my old standby. There are a lot of reasons to spend money, new software, लेखन books, gadgets that promise to make your लेखन life easier, choose only the ones आप really need.

Time stops for no man. How आप spend your present time dictates your future. Daydream about लेखन and months later you’ll have a lovely daydream and nothing to दिखाना for it. If आप envision a book write it every day, if not every दिन at least every week. With our busy lifestyle many of us--beginner and professional writer – let time get away from us. For some of us, we are always trying to ‘find’ time to complete या start our अगला manuscript. Time never stands still so it’s up to आप to grab a hold of it rather than waiting for it to be ‘enough’. I know a dear friend of mine who when she was working full-time always dreamed of being able to stay घर and paint. She now works from home, but still doesn’t find enough time. Why? Because she hasn’t learned the importance of time management. She fills her time with activities that don’t get her close to her dream of painting. So now every दिन she puts in a half घंटा when she must paint and is working towards her dream of being a full-time artist. Time is not the enemy, how आप use it is. So be conscious of what आप do with it. You’ll be surprised how far you’ll go.

Be your own cheerleader not your opponent. We all suffer from doubts, but don’t let your inner critic stop you. When a baby is learning to walk she’ll fall down a lot. She’ll get bruised and cry, but in order to master the skill she’ll need to keep on getting up and trying again and again. We understand that falling is part of the process, but for some reason as adults we’ve become averse to falling. We’ve interpreted it as ‘failing’ and it is. But one must fail his way to success. When आप fail at something, instead of letting the critic have the final say, replace it with your inner cheerleader. The one that says, “That’s okay, keep going.” या “I know it didn’t work this time, but अगला time will be better.” Like the baby learning to walk we have to keep getting up. One rejection letter या two hundred should not stop आप from building your लेखन career. So an editor didn’t like your latest story, come up with something else या प्रस्तुत करे to a different editor. Every career will have its ups and downs. The ones that burn out are the ones that hit the floor and stay there.

Claim your status. Whether you’re published या unpublished claim the fact that you’re a writer. Don’t wait for someone else to give आप that validation. Once again your inner critic may be saying, “I’m not a real writer because I haven’t published anything.” या “I’m not a real writer because I’m not published in hardback.” “I’m only a genre writer; I’ll be a real writer when I’m in mainstream.” या “I’ve only been published in the community newsletter I’m not a real writer like a journalist.” If आप write, you’re a writer. आप don’t need anyone’s permission. However, I will caution you, if आप make this claim, take the necessary steps आप need to grow your skills as a writer. On the flip side there are a number of people who proudly call themselves writers, but never grow in their craft and their careers shows this lack. So constantly strive to be a better writer. This can be accomplished in many ways, online workshops, attending a conference, taking college courses, self-development द्वारा reading, etc. Don’t ever stand still.

Be flexible. Successful लेखन careers are rarely linear. Writers have to take detours when a magazine closes या a new editor hates the writer’s work. A successful mystery series suddenly becomes stale या market trends change the type of work that is accepted. Stretch your लेखन muscles so that your career can always take a new and exciting journey. Do आप write poems? Try लेखन an लेख on poetry. Perhaps that could lead to a book. If your novel isn’t selling, perhaps serialize it online या take the theme and write a short story. Fiction authors try non-fiction. Don’t let yourself be victim to the whims of the industry.

Success is mainly strategy. Writers whose careers have lasted haven’t been without failure, disappointment and setbacks, but these individuals have learned how to हटाइए आगे on the goals they’ve set for themselves. Hopefully with these seven rules आप can linkfor success.

“Nice performance!”
“Thank you, butler!”
Servant smile to Pieter and opens the door of red Ferrari. While driving no one used to speak, until Pieter say something to his butler and bodyguard:
“Did आप hear when my voice trembled? I think that was 14th song.”
“No, Sir…”
“When my father isn’t near, please call me Pieter”
“Yes, Si… I mean Pieter”
They arrived to McChink’s mansion. Servant turned engine off and ran on other site of car to open Pieter’s door, but he was too late. “I’m sorry, Sir…” कहा butler. Pieter sent him angry look: “I can open the door!...

If i get enough टिप्पणियाँ i will extend it.

It was damp, smelled of earth and pine, I heard leaves rustle, twigs snap as जानवर scurried in the पेड़ tops. I wasn't supposed to be here, this wasn't my room, my bed. I was supposed to me in द्वारा cottage on eagle lake. I was supposed to be asleep, चोटी, शीर्ष bunk with my younger brother Elliot on the bottom. I was supposed to be smelling fabric softener and hear the soft snore from little Elli, feel the heat of my cat sleeping on my chest. I opened my eyes and I could see the sky, black with soft twinkle of a million तारा, स्टार and the florescent glow of the moon....

The safety instructor’s voice boomed across the large, air conditioned spaceship. It sounded oddly cheerful for someone who had just told them that they could all die.
Everyone tried to see where her line of vision was pointing towards. It was aimed toward the windows.
Kendra glanced through them and, and gulped. They were about four thousand feet above sea level, and the अंतरिक्ष craft had just...

Using correct grammar and sentence structure is vital if आप want to convey your thoughts accurately. आप also want your लेखन to hold the reader's attention. Nothing is और annoying than पढ़ना a manuscript littered with grammatical errors. The error of लेखन sentence fragments is a common error. Sentence fragments are incomplete sentences that don't express a complete thought.

tips:
1

Have a subject for every verb. The subject is the actor in the sentence. The verb is the action taken in a sentence.

2

Make sure all of your dependent clauses have a completing thought. An independent...

(Please tell me your opinion on my story and be truthful please!)

“Erik get down here now!” My father yelled.
“I’m coming, I’m coming!” I hurried down the stairs. I learned in the last 17 years I’ve been alive, that if my dad calls me I need to be down fast…or else…
I got down the stairs, and went into the living room where he always sat on his days off. “Yes, dad? What can I get you?”
My mother smiled up at me from her book, “You are such a good son, Erik-“

Five years later, sixteen, and the experience of it still torments me.

I suffer sleepless nights in the dark, waking up from the strangest nightmares known to man.
The site of the body still clings to me like the stench of misery. It makes me wonder, all through this time, what actually keeps the average human going?

All we are is dead in the end anyways.
I mean, It’s not exactly like people get the opportunity to really DO something with their lives anymore. Like, for example, something heroic: slaying a dragon, assassinating the one who desires to kill and rule with tyranny, या maybe be the...

Bounce your head, snap
To the classic, to the rap

Step ball change
Basic with a buck
Pleay, tour jete
Bounce your head to the rock

One two three,
Two two three,
Count along with your head
Mosh with the beat

Hop shuffle hop back
Twirl your arms, bend your back
Do the thingamajiggie
Wear out your taps

Breathe it in, breathe it out
Reach for the sky, dance on the ground
Flitter here, gallop there
Lose yourself anywhere

Flow with the music
Feel it in your veins
As आप bounce your head, snap

Third Person POV
------------------

Sadao walked up to God and asked him if he was eligible to be in Heaven. God just simply nodded his head. Sadao walked through the large golden gates and found himself walking through his town he lived in when he was alive. He found his way to his house, and swung open the door. Everything was how it was before. He started crying, remembering the memories he had with Kat here. He heard crying coming from his room, so he opened the door and saw a blonde girl curled up in the corner of his room, sobbing.

"K-K-Kat?" he managed to stutter out. The blonde looked...

MONTH 12, DECEMBER 28, THE दिन SADAO IS TO DIE
----------------------

I ran away before Sadao woke up, taking my scythe with me. I was to be away from him all day, anyways. I walked around the town, looking for something to do until 1:10.

I really don't understand why I had to spy on him, he dies either way.

I just jumped around from rooftop to rooftop, watching बिना सोचे समझे people on the street. I ended up doing this until noon, which is when I decided to follow Sadao. He did things that a regular person would do, went to the bank, bought some groceries, went out to eat, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera....

As light fades the brightest of souls can even be turned to do the darkest of things. As time time pushes आगे the mind and body of an individual changes for either good या bad. the decisions they make and the things they do will stick with them forever. I was told this many years पूर्व द्वारा a wise old man that fortold my future. He कहा "the one with the dragon soul is not alone in the world he knows." After being told this it left me nothing but confused but i had a feeling that it wouldn't be the last time i heard of it.

"Unbelievable! Un-fucking-believable."
A nerdy blonde cussed as he stormed  through the upper deck of Sovereign, his hands raised above his head in protest.
"Oh, let's put Baird in charge of the rookie! Since he's busy anyway. Let's just give him और shit to do, that's easier on us!"
He continued to fume violently as Nicole followed a सुरक्षित distance behind. The rest of Delta Squad had dispersed to their cabins to change into their night attire. Baird had been chosen to school the rookie, thanks to his big mouth.  After a bit of sighing...

In this series of guides, I'll be दिखा रहा है आप the best techniques for लेखन your story. These are tried-and-true techniques, and they work.
First up: characters. Every story has characters. We all know that. But what आप may not realize is that some portions of a character need not be mentioned. Why spend three pages on your character's dimples if they have nothing to do with the plot? In order to keep your readers hooked, आप have to yourself to things that are involved with the plot.
Before आप decide on a plot, आप should get to know each of your characters. After all, you're telling...

This is another poem that I have written. It was inspired द्वारा some टिप्पणियाँ about stuffed animals/plushies on यूट्यूब being people's friends. Enjoy.

The Stuffed Animal.
To some, they are stupid.
They are useless.
They are disgusting little balls of fluff.

Those people think that it's necessary
to pick on the innocence of others
for having a collection of their own.
They poke fun, they tease, they even insult.

They target that person's age.
Sometimes even their gender.
They think they need to grow up.
They think these fluffy plushies are meant for babies.

But to those innocent people,
the ones who are quite...

Dañada

Estoy quebrada.

The first book, A Little Bit और Than Love, takes place toward the end of Eden's history. Later in the series, I hope to explain the past. Once I get caught up, I will then...
