I'm with you Anna. I will be super pissed if Bonnie is the one to save him. This is a great opportunity for DE and a huge step in their relationship. I want Elena to play a really big part in saving Damon. I want it to be a joint effort between Elena and Stefan. Damon should be saved by the 2 people who he loves the most and the people who love him the most. Not Bonnie. But I don't think Bonnie will save him. I think Stefan's just trying to get more information. If a witch could cure a wolf bite someone would have figured that out by now. So I don't think a witch is the answer.

I've seen the article and the comments and again I'm glad I'm not a part of the fanbase. I'm not going to lie and say this fanbase is perfect because there are plenty of bad apples but where ever I go there is a bare minimum DE fans bashing and if there is, the majority of it is caused because of DB fans bashing.

I actually agree with a lot of what the owner of the article has said. And there's definately someone on that spot that has put it into chaos. I've spoken to the author of the article, and she is definitely not a troll - she told me Bamon are her OTP. But after visiting the Bamon spot and seeing everything that went on, she felt she had to vent her frustration with the way certain BD shippers were conducting themselves, even though she knew it might mean forfeiting her right to become part of their 'Bamonator' family.
They are basically responsible for driving out one of their own fans. I think one Bamon shipper in particular seems to have been anointed as the ring-leader/unofficial president and that's a big reason why the Bamon spot has such a problem. While every fandom has its good days and bad days - and well-behaved fans, and bad fans, the fact that Bamon fans are forced to leave the Bamon spot speaks volumes about the dynamics of their fanbase, and how close their little 'Bamily' really is...

What is that about us Delenas are happy that Damon will kiss Katherine instead of Elena? Just read that on SE board, I was like Where did they read that. All DE fans would be upset. Also they talk about how Nian fans hating on Paul, because they think that Paul could be a treat for Nian? Didn´t read anything against Paul. They really themselves can´t tell apart the show and real life. Also what is that about Elena hate? If she will kiss Damon she is the slut according to them. What is that about? I've reported them for both pics they've posted. I noticed on their profile page that they've posted offensive comments on other Vampire Diaries couples walls as well, but they seem to be bombarding us the most. It's very sad they don't have anything better to do with their time.

I was going to our DE page and was at first really shocked to see those pictures, I even thought I am not in the right place and had to look closely. That is really ver immature to post picures like that. They even offended Ian Somerhalder, that called jalousy.

I am 100 percent certain that that psycho was NOT a Twilight fan, OR a girl, judging from their user icon, and their language. Why would a 14 year-old girl who liked Twilight post pornographic, disgusting images?? I don't buy it. I really don't think SE will always triumph. The writers KNOW. They know the potential they have with DE and how many fans love them and how great their story is. Therefore they are simply making sure it is not thrown together and over in an episode arch. They are a series long story and it's going to be hard and frustrating at times but it will also have amazing moments which will make it all worth while.
I mean they hit us hard with the Jeremy Neck Snapping Incident but then BAM we also got the amazing I Love You Elena Compulsion scene.

The best couples always have tragic, sad, heartbreaking, happy, exciting and thrilling series long stories. That's what DE will have.

All you have to do is look at the subtext of the episodes, the songs, the voice overs, the parallels and its all clear. DE are huge and the writers arent going to forget that.

So while the finale may be difficult and we might cop heat over the whole dementia Katherine/Elena stuff. We know who we ship and why and I'm never changing.

We have 5500+ fans and our couple hasnt even had a real kiss. Nuff said.

I'm confused here. Why is everyone so sure that the finale won't be DE-centric? Is there an article I missed or something? I don't mind if we don't get a kiss or a lot of DE epicness in the finale, what would make 100% pissed would be if Damon does something bad to Elena YET AGAIN.

It is not even open for interpretation. L.J Smith herself has said that Damon is in love with Elena and Elena is in love with Damon. IN LOVE! Not "some sort of connection". IN FREAKING LOVE. Urghh so I visited the Bamon spot. I haven't in a very long while because the Delena hating infuriated me, and I can say Im deff notgoing back there anytime soon! I'm usually don't join in on the shipping wars, they bug me and I find no point in them but (the majority) of Bamon fans are such hipocrites! I'm not even going to get started on the fact that they ship a completely non-exsistent ship (I actually ship a Bamon friendship, I like their dyamic and have nothing against them if they did become a couple, except for getting in the way of Delena) but I can't stand most of the fans, especially their leader, you know who I mean :D They say that we are delusional for shipping Delena, that they have no connection. Umm their ship have had like 4 scenes at the most, how are we the delusional ones? They say we like abusive relationships, that we want one ourselves. Okay, so Damon and Elena have had their moments e.g Damon forcing her his blood twice, killing her brother, numerous slaps and punches, but how can they say we want an abusive relationship when Damon tried to kill Bonnie, she gives him regular anyeruems, she sets him on fire and he would gladly let her die? They say Elena brings out the worst in Damon and vice vice versa and that Damon and Bonnie bring out the best in each other. Okay, Elena doesn't always bring out the best in Damon and neither does he, but Elena was the key to Damon's humanity, no matter what anyone says, she was. When no one showed him any compassion or understanding,she did (kitchen scene in 1x03?). And yes, Damon has become broody and all this season, but it's a part of the whole character development. Do you really think people would still love him like last season, if the didn't show any character growth? (I would, but that's not the point). I think Damon has always brought out the best in Elena,no matter what. He has done some pretty messed up things that have hurt her, but character wise, I always find Elena best around Damon (Caroline and Bonnie as well, I love me some girl power) in Bloodlines, we finally saw a lighter side for once of Elena, even if it only lasted for an episode. Then in The Last Dance, even though she was worried and distracted out of her mind, he still made her smile! And other than the few smiles we get from Elena when she is around Damon, we also see the fighter in her. After the last episode, it's pretty clear she is a fighter, but before that it rarely came out, around Stefan she is submissive and weak. With Damon she stands up for herself and what she believes in, the fire in her shows (The sacrifice for example). True love is about bringing out the best in each other, bringing out the fire and passion but also having hard times but fighting through that and still caring for each other at the end of it all. They say that Delena is just lust and obsession, not love. Damon has proven and admitted that he loves Elena, that he will do anything for her and sacrifice anything for her. But not only that, he is selfless in his love, although in The last day he did a pretty selfish act, but if you think you're gonna lose the one you love you become deperate. Elena has shown signs of romantic feelings for Damon and care, not exactly love yet, but it's there. And IMO Damon will always feel something for Kat, she was a big part of his life for over 100 years, but I think it's save to say that he is over her , any feelings he has for Elena are for ELENA,not Katherine. She is the opposite of everything Kat is and was, he knows that and we know that. So, my rant is over! It just bugs me how Bamon fans contadict themselves all the time when it comes to Delena and Bamon. What I also hate is that they bash us! If they hate Delena, fine, if they want to bash Delena, fine but don't call us stupid for having a different opinion. I actually read a comment where the 'leader' called Delena fans stupid for shipping Delena! And I know Im probably bashing them in some way, but I'm not going to call them stupid for liking Bamon, I'm not going to say their opinion is wrong for shipping Bamon, but Im going to bash them if they bash us! ^ There's no need to get depressed over possible theories. We don't know whats going to happen or how things will play out. Don't think so far ahead. Think about season 3 and how its going to be DE season. We're going to get a lot of great scenes and Elena will finally begin to realize her feelings for Damon. For now don't think about who will or will not get endgame because its far too soon to even make a well educated guess because DE is only just beginning and we don't know how things will go from here. So for now, just focus on their journey.

@RachaelF8, I know. Their spot has actually lost fans because of their bashing and negativity. I think one particular fan has contributed to that greatly. I don't mind Bamon scenes per se, but the mind-set which exists behind the pairing is truly baffling. How can some BD fans say that DE is unhealthy and destructive, and then say a Bamon romance wouldn't be?! She freaking set him on fire! Almost got him killed! He attacked her! She has no hesitation in making his head explode! He would totally have let her die if it would save Elena!
