It was a quarter past midnight, not a single whisk of life stirred other then the leather cased finger stroking the brim of the amber elixir. He was calm. Breathing even as it course through his blood.
Inhale. Exhale.
He gazed over the brim of tainted shades, looking for his dearest fair sister cruising behind ebony. Her heels clicking to each sway of her pencil skirt, to every swoosh of the field of wheat grazing over her bum.
"Abel, I'm going back. Are आप going to stop me?" The slick amber pool around his coarse bottom lip. Edging the tip of his tongue whilst whispering sweet tunes into the cup.
"To that place? I, personally..."
Abel faces him now. Her own gaze lowered over her pair of shades. She lived in peace for an honourable amount of time: Happily married to her wife Cain for 5 years, helping take care of her brother's beautiful daughter and finally having her own bar. She lives the life she written as utopian, but now her brother sits on her stool. A mess of coal strands he calls hair asking to get back into that life.
"Nero, I realized आप were out of commission for some time but..."
"Nero? I haven't heard that in awhile." He chuckles lightly after taking the entire shot of whiskey. A light burn trails down his throat, resulting in a slight twitch from the man.
"Why interrupt what we have now? We're happy. We're coexisting within this community. My strength is under control, Cain hasn't connected but most of all Bonnie is सुरक्षित and well. Doesn't she matter? Why toss it now of all times?"
Nero drops the glass onto the counter before slipping from his seat. Without दिखा रहा है any और interest into Abel, Nero beelined for the door. The knob twist, the door open just to poke the bell. Ching.
"Because..." He steps outside, "Charm isn't under control and that needs to change."
Ching.
