"Damn, it's dark." Nightingale noted to her comm as she walked into the sub-basement.

Lights flicked on one द्वारा one with a deep, echoing sound. Standing in the middle of the clean, white, utterly empty basement was Red Revenge. Nightingale's dual pistols were aimed at the Black Hero in the blink of an eye.

"You're on my property." Revenge stated in a 'Im the boss' tone. "Stand down."

Nightingale hesitated a सेकंड और before dropping the pistols into the low riding holsters on her hips. She'd changed her costume. Black body-armor with yellow highlights and markings. Her same weapons were in place as well as some new ones, hidden, and not hidden like the double .38s on her hips.

Revenge noted it as the female boldly strode forward.

"You haven't changed a bit." Nightingale said. "My comm is jammed. The basement is empty. And आप are still अभिनय as calm as a writer would be at a coffee shop."

"Interesting comparison." Revenge noted. "Considering I'm a vigilante confronting a thief in a room that doesn't exist. And FYI: This part of Grant Industries was shut down six months ago."

Nightingale frowned. "And here I thought आप were stealing another one of your own projects."

"Not this time." Revenge said, still standing six inches taller and much और intimidating, although Nightingale wasn't to be underestimated either.

Nightingale swung her leg at Revenge's head. The Black Hero ducked and swung his fist at the female's stomach.

Nightingale felt the पंच through her body armor and spit as she doubled over. She fell back onto the ground clutching her stomach. Red Revenge walked over to her. "You have five मिनटों until the cops get here." He tossed her a phone and walked away.

Nightingale groaned and rolled onto her side, picking up the phone and unlocking it. A short, three-second video played. 

"Take me to your leader."

It repeated over and over. On the back, scribbled in messy handwriting were two words.

"Judge." and "Playing."

"Bastard." Nightingale muttered.
