Part 4:
“Mockingbird, या should I say Felice?”
“I don’t mind either.”
“WelI, this is your room, hope this isn’t too much, I know you’re new and all but, I-we, hope आप settle in well.”
“Thanks.”
A very over-helpful Ms Martian was taking Mockingbird a tour of the whole Mountain. Ever since Ms Martian had been doing this every time a newbie came into the team, it seemed like tradition.
Now M’gann was दिखा रहा है Mockingbird her new room, which she would be staying.
Felice though was insecure.
“Um, Ms M?”
“Yes?”
“Do you, well, I know that Shadow knows me, but do आप think the rest of the team...?”
She looked down at the ground. She looked nervous.
M’gann put a hand on Mockingbird's head.
“I know what it feels like to be the new girl-you should have seen me when I first started.
It’ll be o.k Felice, trust me.”
Felice grinned. If Ms Martian hadn’t known, she looked like how Shadow had started, young, small, and determined. They both shared a slight resemblance which Ms Martian couldn’t put a name to.
M’gann shook her head. She must of been dreaming. After all, they were both thirteen.
She walked out, leaving the room, a headache forming in her head.

“I hate my life!” Fin wailed.
“Why?” Aisling wondered.
“Because I have to complete two full pages of Algebra equations and plus I have to write a four page रिपोर्ट in english, and uh! आप know how hard it is to fill civilian life when आप have hero businesses to do?”
Fin, Aisling, Eclipse, Shadow and तत्पर, तेज, स्विफ्ट were all in Swifts bedroom.
Fin was doing her homework, Aisling was playing with her two mice, Eclipse and तत्पर, तेज, स्विफ्ट were both talking about some गॉथिक clothing range that was just released somewhere in Manhattan and Shadow was sharpening her dagger and listening to संगीत on her iPhone.
“You want me to help?” Shadow offered, “And anyways, number 17 a) is 6.”
Fin looked up at her curiously. “How’d आप know?”
Shadow tapped her own head. “Mental calculator, remember?”
“Oh, right. Thanks.”
“No probs.”
Eclipse turned her head away to look at Swift. “Hey, आप know where Spectrum is? and Mockingbird?”
“I know hey! I invited them in too, but Spectrum कहा she had to practice her powers and Mockingbird? आप mean that weirdo? I asked her but she कहा she had something else to do. I mean come on, I was totally nice to her about it, but she acts...funny. Even Cecil and मक्खी, ड्रैक, ड्रेक think that.”
“Who’s Drake?” Fin asked, curiously.
“You know, Wire. Black Canary’s nephew.” तत्पर, तेज, स्विफ्ट filled in for her.
“Drake is totally not Black Canary’s nephew! They don’t even look related!” Shadow said.
“Mmmm, I don’t know”, Aisling piped in, “ But he always calls her ‘Aunt’.”
“True” Eclipse said, picking up one of Aisling’s rats and letting it trail up her arm.
“O.k, so why not take this conversation to a different level? I got an announcement!” Shadow exclaimed.
All the girls turned to look at Shadow with curious eyes.
“I think the missions are starting to roll again. Though since the team is like so big, instead of working in one we will be working in separate squads. Just a teeny weeny change,” Shadow turned to Fin, “You know about it right? Dick already filled आप in about it.”
“Yah, I know. He told me around रात का खाना time yesterday,” Fin’s voice than quieted down, “Oh and Shadow? Please don’’t say my brothers name aloud. बैटमैन is still strict about the whole ‘ Robins secret identity’, आप heard the big down-low a lot from KidFlash right?”
Shadow, embarrassed mumbled an “Oh, right” and started picking at her dagger.
She heard it a lot. But it still shouldn't be a big issue? Some of the Team members already knew.
Shadow was just about to hit play ‘Blow’ from Kesha on her iPhone when a loud screeching sound filled the whole cave.
Than, the lights went out.
