Is it just me, या is everyone scared to death that a Liberal is the president?

I'm still learning the ropes of government, politics, and the Republicans/Democrats, and my dad just told me what Liberals were, and I'm like "So, does that mean Obama's a Liberal?" and dad कहा "He's the biggest one of all!"

Out of curiousity, what exactly do आप think a liberal is?

I'm asking for several reasons, but especially because Obama is not the biggest liberal I can think of. Michael Moore springs to mind.

I don't think he's anti-America, mostly because he is the president. Any country is defined द्वारा leaders choices, so he kind of is America, so he cant be against that.

Sorry, I never saw your answer, MadamOcta13. How आप define a liberal is not the same way that I define a liberal. I define a liberal द्वारा his या her philosophies - namely, a liberal's support of social programs including public education, health care and welfare, and a liberal's support of same-sex marriage, environmentally friendly legislation, and pro-choice leanings. This is standard, although not everyone who identifies as "liberal" believes in and/or supports all of those things, of course, just like not all who identify as republican support the opposite perspective on all those issues. In conclusion, I've found, that neither liberals nor conservatives are "anti-America." Indeed, both are very "pro-America." They just have VASTLY different देखा गया on how to make this already great country even better. That's all.

I agree & now that a conservative republican has taken his seat, I feel a little और relieved. But there's still a long way to go!
