At this year’s 2011 Jingle Ball, Selena Gomez revealed to her प्रशंसकों that one of her biggest musical inspirations is none other than Katy Perry. The “Who Says” singer not only gave a shout-out to Perry, but she also dedicated a slowed-down version of “The One That Got Away” to the pop sensation.

Before performing the ballad, Selena said:

She’s been really wonderful and just a really good person to me … In honor of Katy, we wanted to do this song.
