Noah's POV
It was Friday morning. I jumped out of bed, took a shower, and got dressed. As I headed downstairs for breakfast, I stopped halfway down the stairs because I heard something that I haven't heard since, well ever. It was absolutely silent.
I ran down the rest of stairs and into the kitchen. No one was there. I instantly saw a neon गुलाबी post it on the fridgerator. I ran to the fridge and read the post it. I read, "Went to I-Hop with the kids. I didn't want to wake आप because आप were sleeping so peacefully. Be back soon. प्यार Mom." I put the post it on the counter top. "Great. घर alone again." I went into the living room and turned to the news channel like I do everyday when I'm घर alone. द्वारा the time I got halfway through my show, it was 9 o'clock. I was bored. I didn't feel like playing video games या online chess. I thought maybe I should call तारा, स्टार to see if she'd like to hang out. I ran upstairs to my room and grabbed my cell phone from my nightstand. I went to 'call history' and pressed the number that last contacted me. Star's number. The phone began to ring.
Star's POV
It was 9:30. I was in my room feeding and playing with Sol Negro, when I heard my cell phone ring. I grabbed it from my nightstand and answered it. "Hello", I asked.
"Star, it's Noah."
"Noah? Um, hey."
"Hey. Um, I was wondering if maybe you'd like to hang out today?"
"That sounds really cool."
"Great."
"I'll see आप where?"
"At the mall."
"Cool. I'll see आप there."
"Alright, bye."
"Bye." I hung up the phone. I put Sol Negro back in the closet and headed downstairs.
My mom was in the रसोई, रसोईघर putting the breakfast dishes away. "Mom?" She turned from the dish rack towards me. "I'm going to the mall for a while."
"Okay dear, but not too long. We've got to pick up Jecica and Melissa from their summer camps."
"Alright Mom. Could आप call me when you're outside the mall?"
"Of course."
"Great. Bye Mom!" I hugged her and walked out the front door. I then ran to the bus stop.

After I locked the front door, I went to the bus stop. तारा, स्टार was there. She saw me and waved. I waved back.
When I got to the bus stop, I sat down beside her. She had the book I lent her on her lap. She must've saw me looking at it because she said, "Oh right. Here's your book back." She handed me the book.
"Thanks." I took it from her. The bus came. We boarded it.

When we got to the mall, I tried to think of a place we could go. "Wanna go to the movies", I asked her.
"Sure."
We got on an elevator and headed towards the movie theaters.
When we got there, we couldn't decide on which movie to see. "How about 'Good Neighbors'?"
"I heard that's really funny."
"Do आप want to see it?"
"Sure."
We walked up to the ticket booth. "Two tickets to 'Good Neighbors', please", I कहा to the ticket booth male.
"Here आप go." Two tickets popped up from the ticket dispenser. "That'll be 15 dollars." I hand him the money. "Thank you." Before he handed me the tickets, he said, "Weren't आप in that show. Uh, Total Drama Island?"
"Yeah, he was. Now could आप please hand him the tickets", तारा, स्टार कहा impatiently.
"Sorry." He handed me the tickets. We entered the movie theater.
"Would आप like some पॉपकॉर्न या some other movie snack?"
"Actually, I would prefer a beverage."
"What beverage?"
"A diet Sprite."
"No problem." We walked to the snack area. "A diet Sprite, please."
"That'll be 5 dollars", कहा the woman behind the counter. I handed her the money. Before she passed the drink to me, she said, "Aren't आप the guy from-"
"Yeah, he is. My drink please", तारा, स्टार कहा impatiently.
"Here." She passed it me. I gave it to Star.
"C'mon Noah." तारा, स्टार began to walk towards Theater 8, which is where 'Good Neighbors' is playing. I followed her.
Before we entered Theater 8, the guy behind the podium who checks the tickets said, "Tickets please." तारा, स्टार and I handed him our tickets. He then said, "Hey, aren't you-" तारा, स्टार dragged me into Theater 8 before he could finish his sentence.
Star's POV
When inside the theater, Noah and I sat in the middle section. The previews just ended and the movie was just beginning. I noticed a lot of people weren't in the theater. I assumed it's because most people come to the फिल्में at night than 12 o'clock in the afternoon.

It was now 1:30 in the afternoon. My drink was half empty and I wasn't really into the movie.
Noah, on the other hand, was really enjoying it. He even laughed at the things that weren't that funny. He must of noticed me looking bored out of my mind because he said, "Aren't enjoying the movie?"
"Of course I am", I कहा lying through my teeth.
"You aren't laughing."
"I think laughing would disturb the people trying to watch it." Just as I finished that sentence, the whole theater roared with laughter. "See. Wasn't that disturbing?" I turned back towards the movie.

It was 2 o'clock and the movie was finally finished. Noah and I left the theater. I threw away my empty soda cup.
Soon we got on the elevator and headed to the first floor. When we got down there, Noah and I sat on a mall bench because we didn't know what else to do. "Well, what do आप wanna do now", I asked Noah.
"I think I know."
"What?"
"This." He kissed me.
I pulled away. "Wait, shouldn't we save this for our तारीख, दिनांक tomorrow?"
"This is the date." He kissed me again. I kissed him back.

"I've got to go meet her. She's waiting for me."
"Why?"
"We've got to go pick up my sisters from their summer camps."
"Um...can I come?"
"Really?" He nodded. "If आप want, I guess आप could come along."
"Awesome." He stood up and followed me to my Mom's car, which was in the barely full parking lot.
Before we both got in the car, I told my Mom through the passenger side window, "Mom, this is my friend Noah. Can he come with us to pick up Melissa and Jecica?"
"Sure he could, but he has to inform his mother first."
"Sure, I'll ask him to do that." I walked back to Noah, who was standing on the sidewalk, and told him, "You have to inform आप mother first."
"My mom wouldn't mind", Noah कहा without hesitation.

"I'm positive."
"If आप say so. C'mon." We walked to Mom's car. "You sit in the front, I'll take the back."

We finally arrived at Melissa and Jecica's summer camp site. At the camp entrance, I saw an endless sea of adolescents either carrying musical instruments या scripts. I tried to scope out my sisters from the crowd of unfamiliar faces, but I couldn't see them.
My mom stopped the car. She put the car in park and said, "Star, I'm going go look for आप sisters. Stay here." As she finished her sentence, she unbuckled her सीट belt.
"No Mom, I'll go look for them."
"Are आप sure?" I was already out of the car.

तारा, स्टार slammed the door. I watched her walk towards the sea of people and then it swallowed her. I looked at Star's mother. I gave her a smile. She smiled back at me. We sat there awkwardly for three minutes. I was praying तारा, स्टार would come back soon.
I looked out the window again. I saw Star. "There"s Star", I कहा smiling. She was followed द्वारा two teenage girls. One was a red-head who was wearing a red लगाम, हेलटर चोटी, शीर्ष and the other resembled Courtney, but with purple clothing. They made their towards the car and got in.
"Noah, these are my sisters. Melissa", she pointed to the one who resembled Courtney, "and Jecica", she pointed to the red-head.....................
