Duncan's P.O.V

Wow, that was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. When I saw her, it seemed like I've known her forever. Back to Courtney, I finally found her sitting down at a table. "Hey babe." I greeted Courtney. She gave me a nasty look. "What do आप want, Duncan?" Courtney carelessly asked me. "I wanted to know if आप wanted to do something on Saturday." I calmly stated. She rolled her eyes at me. "Go jump off of a cliff. For आप are a Montague, a neanderthal. Go pester some other girl." she ordered me. I smirked at her. "C'mon babe. I'll tell आप how beautiful आप are." I complimented her. Courtney flipped her hair back. "Well, I am one heck of a sight, but I do not प्यार you. I may not प्यार a dirty Montague, nothing but no good thugs." she insulted me. This was not a shock for me. It was regular for Courtney to put me in shame, but I know she wants me. She just doesn't realize it yet. I walked away. Before I left the Capulet party, I had to talk to that gorgeous girl again. When I noticed that she and her so called 'date' I think were done dancing, I walked up to her. She smiled at me. I smiled back. I wasn't sure what to say. She held out her hand and said, "Gwen." I took her hand, shook it, and said, "Duncan." When we touched hands, it felt like electricity. We were staring at each other again. I was gazing into her dark, breath taking eyes. I finally spoke, "So, um, how's it going?" "Fine, I guess." Suddenly a punk rock song came on. "I प्यार this song." we both कहा at the same time. I pulled out a chair from a तालिका, टेबल and held my hand out, gesturing her to sit down. She took a seat. "Thx Duncan." she thanked me. "Don't sweat it." I responded. We started to talk a little. She made me laugh, I made her laugh. The way she was able to get me from goo-goo eyed over Courtney, from in a calm, friendly mood just got me going. I loved, oh, I mean liked that about her. She suddenly became curious. "Hey, how come I've never saw आप around the nation of Capulets?" she asked me. B-U-S-T-E-D! "Um, I......just joined the union." I lied. She whispered to me, "It's cool, I know you're a Montague. But, if my father ever sees आप near me, या even in this room, he will kill you. I think आप should go." A slow song came on. I stood up. "Wanna dance?" I questioned her. "Duncan, you'll get caught." she warned me. "Awww, आप care about me." I teased her. She chuckled and stood up. I held both hands on her waist as she hung both hands over my shoulders. We began dancing. It felt nice to have someone that I trusted, even if I haven't known her for a long time. I don't know why, but every time I get close to Gwen, I never want to go away. She's like my रे of sunshine, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but the प्यार of my life. I was लॉस्ट in a trance. We were still dancing. I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Gwen. "Duncan, my dad's coming this way." she informed me. I broke away from our tight grip. I gave Gwen a किस on the cheek and left, but before I could, I just had to see her again. I turned around and looked in her direction as she was waving. I winked at her and headed off.

Gwen's P.O.V

Wow, that was the best night of my life. I met this really cute guy and I think he might like me. He was just so perfect. He really understood me, it seems like he wasn't the royal stuck up type either. He seemed to like dark colors, punk rock music, and Eeeeeee! Alright, I just sounded like a little girl, but I think I'm in love. My dad took me home. We talked about the Trent proposal, but I wasn't interested. When we got home, I flopped myself on my bed. I couldn't stop thinking about Duncan. He is just soooooo sweet! I stepped out on my balcony for fresh air. Now, I was talking to no one. "Ugh, o.k, I प्यार Duncan. He's the sweetest guy in the world. He's funny, cute, smart and he's interested in all of the things that I am into. At the dance, It just felt so magical, like we had a special connection that no one else in the universe did!" I confessed. I sighed and rested my head on the palm of my right hand. I heard rustling in the bushes.

Duncan's P.O.V
I'm going crazy about Gwen. I'm going to go see her again. I sneaked my way to the गढ़, महल of Capulets. I climbed up the closest balcony. Just when I was about to slip and fall, I felt a hand grab me. The hand pulled me up from possible death. It was Gwen. I pulled her into a hug. She hugged me back. After 10 seconds, Gwen pulled away. "Duncan, what the hell are आप doing here?" Gwen कहा while she slapped my arm. "Alright, first of all, oww! And second, I came to see you." I tried to charm her. Gwen blushed. "Well, um, you're going to get caught." she tried to persuade me. "I don't care. Gwen, ever since the dance, I couldn't stop thinking about you. That dance, it was magical. It felt like we had a special connection that neither one of us could deny." I explained. "Oh, Duncan, I-" she paused and looked backwards. "My dad is calling me." she rushed me. Gwen gave me a quick किस on the lips. "Listen Duncan, I really like आप too, b-but-" she hesitated. I could hear her father's footsteps coming closer. "We'll talk some other time." she कहा as she shoved me down the balcony. I blew her a किस and I sped off.

Gwen's P.O.V
He likes me? He likes me! And I can't believe we kissed and he was totally cool about it. I acted cool about it too, but I totally wanted to go, "Eeeeeee!", inside. My father came out on the balcony. "What was that?" he asked me. "Um, nothing, I was just going to bed." I hesitated and headed inside. "Gwen, Trent and the whole family are going to meet and discuss your marriage." he instructed me. "I didn't even agree to this marriage, why are we already so deep into it?" I quizzed him. "Because Gwen, आप will marry Trent. He is a promising man. Rich, handsome, what और could आप ever want?" he asked me. "Oh, I don't know, maybe someone who's और my style. Someone who understands me." I blurted out. He shot daggers at me. "Good night Gwen." he muttered and then closed the door.
