Part three

It had been a week since the lynx-girl known as “Rynk” met the strange hooded-female known as “Rin”. Nothing in particular had happened… until…

Rynk was strolling through the streets of Semretechs once again, in खोजिए of something to do, या और importantly, something to eat. Her last meal was ruined when she had decided to get some खाना from a homeless shelter, but a conflict interrupted.

It began with a man simply asking if she could hand her one of her biscuits. Without looking at him, she pointed at the food-stand, which still had plenty.

“Can’t आप just hand me one yourself?” He asked.

“I could… but आप could also just get one from over there.” Rynk replied.

“Listen you,” The man snarled as he spun Rynk around to face him. “You can either share या get this in your head.” He pulled out a gun from his coat-pocket.

“I Am Alive much?” She smirked. The man simply glared at her, then she simply scoffed at him. He pointed the gun at her head, and waited for her to give him a biscuit.

Rynk did nothing. Finally the man pulled the trigger. “Crack” went the gun, as it’s empty कारतूस went off.

“You’re a very strange person.” She said. “Now leave me alone, and get your own food.”

Rynk turned around to continue eating, but the man pushed her face into the meal, ruining it all. She gave a large sigh, then after a few सेकंड्स flipped upward, twisted the man’s arm backwards, then kicked him in the head, knocking him to the floor.

Unfortunately for her, the others saw this, but the only thing they saw was her attack the man. The homeless “avengers” sprung to aid the harmed man; swinging their fist at Rynk. The young lynx dodged multiple times, without fighting back, as she did not want to harm any of them.

Eventually she took up the idea of grabbing the gun… good plan. With an angered look on her face, she told them “Back away!” They retained their confidence still, then slowly turned around and ran away.

Rynk gave a विक्टोरियस smirk, then felt a sharp metal object lightly touch the tip of the back of her head. “You are under arrest.” A Man’s voice कहा from behind the sharp metal object. Rynk could not see the man’s face, but he appeared to be an overlander. Young, with black-hair, trimmed normally, with a large uniform, and blade-tipped gun.

“For what? Not that I’m saying I’m innocent, but just out of curiosity.”

“… Destroying a building, stealing and using drugs-“

“It wasn’t a drug.”

“And having contact with a Hell-Soul.” He continued as he cuffed Rynk’s hands, and took the gun.

“… And prey-tell who this Hell-Soul was.”

“The hooded girl आप met up with.”

“You named her quickly enough.”

The man gave a scoff, then कहा to her “You don’t know much do you? She’s been around for और than twelve years.”

Rynk could hear the clicking of other guns. “Five.” She thought to herself. Then out loud she कहा “Then you’re going to educate me about those twelve years.” Rynk flipped upward, high above the man’s head, then landed on his back, forcing him to the ground. The man turned over and tried to shoot at her, but she simply blocked with her cuffs, which were shot broken.

Rynk then kicked the man’s hand away, then picked him up, and rushed him into a wall, and jumped upward as the other Officers began to shoot at her. Intending on simply clawing their faces off, instead of clawing their faces off, a glowing light-strip of energy came out of her fingers, and cut through the men, which instantly took them out.

She landed with her right hand and feet on the ground, then stared at the strange energy on her hand. A सेकंड later, a shot was sent at her… she reacted. Rynk flicked the bullet away with the strange energy. अगला she grabbed the gun with the light-strips, while at the same time rushing her elbow up against the man’s throat, forcing him into the दीवार once again, then shoved the gun inside his ear.

“That sound in your ear isn’t a girl whispering “She hinted. And it’s not going to sound pretty when it finishes, so I would like to know what exactly this ‘Chaos-Energy-Person’ was, because it obviously wasn’t who I met.”

The man’s body was found in a chimney later that day, with a blue-moon shaped scar on his cheek. Rynk however was now at his house; looking for any information she could about files such as “Rin”, “Chaos-Being”, या “Hell-Soul”. There were two files under “Hell-Soul”.

The first one opened up to describe the “Hell-Soul’s” story-files. The first entry described the subject’s first arrival.

“Entry One”

“The creature appeared in a destroyed base of ours. We quickly aided it, in an attempt to learn what it knew without growing suspicion. It took a mobian-form of a female lynx, and asked to be named. The name that the project responded to the most was ‘Kaiya’. Our commander wanted me to record the events, so I am. Not that interesting yet.”

“Entry Two”

“The Being seems to have extreme amounts of knowledge, but doesn’t trust us. She was very hostile, and did not accept any खाना या water. She only nodded when we offered her a room. She hasn’t come out since two days prior.”

“Entry Three”

“After three week the being came out of the room. She did not look any different then she had prior. What did she feed on, and how was she getting it? She still didn’t accept food, but seemed slightly और sociable. That is to say that she helped another Soldier fix his computer almost instantly. When he कहा ‘Thank You’, she simply nodded, then walked off through the hallways. She continued through them, getting closer and closer to our base’s exit… but she passed it, and instead headed straight to our Commander’s office. She was inside for ten minutes. When she came out again, she showed no form of… anything. She simply walked back to her room, and locked the door.”
 

“Entry Four”

“The girl came out several times this week, went to a computer, then worked on it for three-straight hours. When she was finished each time, she had a soldier inform the Commander, then left to her room.”

“Entry Five”

“Whatever that girl is doing, she’s doing it well. We have gotten much better at targeting our enemies, and द्वारा that I mean that we knew EXACTLY what to do. She’s come out much और often.”

“Entry Six”

“The girl, Kaiya, who finally began to talk और to people, was let around the rest of the base. She is usually found outside द्वारा the Tear-Tree. One time, Eines actually tried to socialize with her. He कहा that she wasn’t in the mood, but was a good artist. We got him to tell us that she was drawing another lynx, with a purple-toga, and a fox, but he says that he did not get a good enough look at the fox.”

“Entry Seven”

“Kaiya actually talked to me even. She was friendly… ish, at first, but got a bit less friendly when she had found out that I was लेखन about her, and even less friendly when she learned that everyone knew what she was drawing. Some of the other soldiers teased her, but she just ignored them.”

“Entry Eight”

“Anger-Management is the last thing we need right now, though it surprises me a lot. One of the soldiers went too far. He made a… un-moral insult to her, and she replied द्वारा leveling his height with her hands… which seemed to turn into knives as they hit his knees. Instead of get angry though, the Commander chose to make her an agent for him. She accepted, and is now about to go on her सेकंड mission. I’m here with her, but only because I’m still supposed to write about her. Eines and Larkins are here too.”

“Entry Nine”

“… She’s locked up now. After the third mission, she caught on to where exactly the locations that she was targeting were. Populated areas. Somehow she was able to by-pass all of the security when she got curious, and found out that the underground bombs that she was planting, were right under a suburb. She tried to attack the Commander, but Eines convinced her not to. She still got locked up.”

“Entry Ten”

“Kaiya escaped with Eines ten days ago. I would be happy for them. It was both of them that really opened my eyes about this place… but I’m not. She left a note for me of all people, about a दिन ago. It कहा that Eines had betrayed her, and that if I did, she would kill me. I’m sure that it’s a trap, but after all of this, I doubt that I have that much और to live for.”

The final entry was not a word-document, but a video-feed.

“Entry Eleven.” A thirty-year-old man’s voice कहा tiredly through a camera.

“I’m… I’m alive. I helped Kaiya escape, but I couldn’t get her to stick around in time. Eines had gotten her captured द्वारा the… Neks… The Neks of all people. But she did escape, which is a good thing, but now… everyone knows about her. Everyone’s also about to know about me too. She gave me a small trigger, and told me to press it if I was in danger. I’m not going to. If it means Kaiya coming back and risking getting captured again, I’m not going to risk her life. Whoever finds this, आप need to find her, and protect her with your life. The thing that she is… the other things that she told me about… There are और coming.”

The man then turned the camera to himself, revealing a mobian, not overlander, skunk, with brown hair, and a few scars on his face. The video ended after that.

Rynk opened the सेकंड file, and saw a single picture of Kaiya. She was wearing a black hoodie-jacket, that was so long at the bottom that it almost looked like a dress. Her हुड, डाकू was very large, and black jeans. She was in fact a lynx… like figure. But she looked और like something that was trying to look like a lynx, but wasn’t all the way there. She had black hair, and strange eyes, that seemed to be multiple colors.

“So this ‘Kaiya’ is the DNA that I was in me now…” Rynk कहा to herself. “I guess that that would mean that I have to find out what the तारीख, दिनांक on this… here we go. … thirty-two years ago… How did this get on the officer’s computer?”

Rynk puzzled over this for a while, then finally left the house, and headed down the streets once again, in खोजिए of the base of Kaiya’s origin.
