May looked around the white hospital room as much as her weakened body would allow, it was raining outside...rain she couldn't hear and could barely see. She looked on the other side to see Kazuki, her husband...just sitting there, holding her hand
"It'll be ok," he soothed, stroking her cheek "it'll all be ok," May could just make out what he was saying, she nodded, she knew he could save her, she knew she'd be alive to see the sunrise tomorrow...but what if she wasn't..? No, she couldn't think about that, not now. May suddenly felt drowsy
"...C-Can I...re-re-rest...?" she managed to croak out
"No, आप have to stay with me, आप can't rest yet," Kazuki replied. May nodded again, was she really so close to death? She could barely think about it "I प्यार you, May," she heard her husband say once more, she opened her mouth to say 'I प्यार you, too' but nothing came out.

Tears formed in May's eyes as she went back to staring at the ceiling. Feeling the warmth of Kazuki's hand against her own, May thought about her memories, so many memories of them being together; some happy, some sad, some painful...some absolutely magical. Suddenly, she felt her chest tighten; she struggled to breathe, choking on her own attempts to save her life. She closed her eyes, unable to keep them open any longer. The pain from her chest slowly made spread to her whole body, until she felt nothing but pain, but she was sure, she was sure her husband would save her...he had to, she couldn't die yet, right...?

In the last milliseconds of her life, her hearing came back to her, only to hear the desperate cries of her husband before she fell limp and lifeless and she never saw the sunrise again.

Her funeral was short, only a few people went; the remaining members of her family, Mars and Xavier, who came all the way from China, Alyss, her best friend and, of course, Kazuki, her loving husband.
“I’m so sorry, May,” Kazuki whispered as he stroked her cheek in the open coffin. Her body had a morbid calmness to it, her eyes delicately closed as if she were sleeping, what startled him was the fact she was smiling, as if she had been ready. Her mother, of course, was weeping, but they were मगरमच्छ tears, she was immensely happy that her unwanted daughter was out of the way, no और disappointed looks from the rest of the family, no और awkward conversations at parties, FINALLY she was happy and no-one would ever find out, after all, she killed the chemist she took the poison from and she killed his wife, too!
