It seemed a coincidence. The pair slowly made its way to the city center. But the elements seemed to unite against them.
Wind howled its complaint.
Water smacked against their bodies.
आग snuffed itsself out.
Nature hurled dirt to बादल their vision.
Light attempted to blind them.
But all was in vain.
Darkness formed a barrier around them.
And they would need it for this ceremony.
The child got out the ancient tome, as the Gaurdian prepared the altar.
"When, Gaurdian?" asked the child.
"Very soon...." he answered.

From the pit in which he resided, Seth felt the energy. It called to him like a fresh kill, या the promise of that wonderful liquid.
*bold* Blood *unbold*
It coursed through the rocks, forming whisps of vapor that tickled his nose like so many feathers.
Seth stirred as the power slowly returned his strength.

The child lay on the ground, being granted an eternal respite द्वारा his Gaurdian.
His blood formed a फव्वारा on the altar whilst the Gaurdian sang the battle hymn.

Seth broke free of his chains and raced upwards towards the sun.

Seth crawled out from the pit and into the sun. He winced, as he had not seen the sun for so long.
Seth quickly noticed the altar, and rushed for his offering.

His face covered in blood, Seth bowed to his new master.
"Your bidding, My Leige?"
