Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When आप were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. I wanted to believe him. But this was my life without him that he was describing, not the other way around.
"Your eyes will adjust," I mumbled.
"That's just the problem - they can't."

I gazed at him for the longest, trying to believe everything he said. He lied to protect me, and now remorse shined in his midnight eyes. And I was a fool for him, I would believe anything that came from this man.
"I believe you." But I wouldn't let myself hope. Because that hope would kill me.
He smiled a full-blown grin and kissed me again until I was in need of air.
"Thank आप Bella, I प्यार you." He spoke in absolute contentment and he rested his forehead against mine.
"I प्यार आप too," I कहा as the words burned into my heart.
We were both comfortable in the silence that followed.
Suddenly, a loud cry filled the air and I knew who that cry belonged to.
