Yeah,how dare the artist try to do such an outrageous things as drawing outfits and hairstyles that are more accurate to the time in which the story takes place instead of Disney who gave Cinderella a 19th century dress even though the story took place in the 17th century?-_-
Also,I have to say that I "love" how you accuse anime fans of being obnoxious even though you are the one who insulted the other character just because you've got butthurt that the majority of people choose her over Cinderella lol

Thats how haterlaxerne always is,everytime when someone disagrees with his opinions or sates that he/she likes something that he doesn't like,his butthurt level goes over 3000 and he starts acting like an asshole.

Marie is pretty but Cinderella is gorgeous. I prefer the Disney style to the anime style because of the more realistic look.

@SilentForce I honestly don't see what was so bad about hatelarxene's comment. A lot of people aren't a fan of the fashion of that era (My costume design teacher even wasn't), so I understand why he has a problem with that. Besides, wouldn't Marie wear a powdered if she was completely accurate to the time period? hatelarxene is one of my closest friends but I do admit he does get out of hand with a lot of his comments and opinions but this comment was really nothing bad. I see nothing about it that was disrespectful. I hate being involved with drama between friends of mine but I feel like in this situation you overreacted, which is usually the other way around in these situations, no offense.

Okay I wasn't gonna get involved with this one because I'm not passionate about this topic. But the flame war has a few of my friends involved now lol. Imma try to be nice here so I hope this doesn't come off as rude.

@Katara I like you, I do. But your buddy has a track record of saying mean things for no reason this last comment is one of those things. Did he need to make the eye sore comment? No. Honestly with that whose uglier poll her used Alice Glass which I find too close to the time I posted about liking her for it to be a coincidence. It's not just this one poll but like every other comment I see from him. He was pretty nice on my last poll but then I come and see this. Now the comment wasn't that bad but I know it would bug me if Simone came onto my poll and called something I found aesthetically pleasing to be an eye sore.

I'm also aware that you and Blund dont care for each other. And while I think Blind can be very harsh I feel as though you aren't helping the cause. I saw on the unpopular opinion forum that you don't mind brutal honesty. So I'm going to take you up on that a little. There are times when I feel like you don't keep an open mind. Calling Harry a Gary Stu is my biggest example; I don't care for Harry but he isn't a Sue. Even after some pretty solid evidence is presented you can be pretty stubborn and I think that that's what bothers a few people. Again I really hope this didn't offend you. You are one of my favorite users but to see you and another friend going at it is difficult as it must be for you to watch hatelarexene and I.

I'm gonna have to edit and finish this on my lunch break. Until then my big point is that this comments section is becoming a clusterfuck lol. And that there are things that everyone here--probably myself included--have said that maybe shouldn't have been said or could have been stated differently.

@katara if you actually realize I only insult people that I dislike or that did something wrong. I never go out of my way to insult a random person. Meaning if I did something. I did it for a reason. And you don't know enough about me to say it's a pot calling the kettle black. Like for now I can easily insult you right now but I won't. Geez,my problem with haterlaxerne's comment is that the"eyesore"part was really something really unnecessary that he wrote just for the sake of being an asshole.Also just for your information,this isn't the first time that I have problem with hate's behaviour.For example in this poll:link he was negatively generalizing all the anime fans by calling them"the most annoying, cancerous, and obnoxious people on the planet" even though he was the one who wrote in the same account that all the people who hate Asami from"Legend of Kora"need to check themselves into mental asylums.Also the fact that he insulted Marie's style in his comment even though nobody that voted Marie(and well I know for a fact that 3 of these people are anime fans) insulted Cinderella just proves yet again how obnoxious he is.Sorry but I hate hypocrites and you friend haterlaxerne happens to be one.
Also,do I really need to explain why its stupid to insult a character's style just because that character is winning in a beauty poll against one of your favorite characters?I mean,please you would have reacted the same way as I did if some anime fan would state that Ariel's or Melody's outfits or hairstyles are eyesore so stop portraying me as the"bad guy"on here.
Also I never said that the outfits and hairstyle in the"Rose of Versailles"are completely accurate to the time period but I said that the the artist made attempts to make them look more accurate to the time period.

Blind's comment is kinda what I was talking about. While I do think that he can go overboard sometimes (as a third party person) I have only ever seen him go off on someone AFTER they said something offensive first. They are a few times when he admitt d to doing it just to piss someone off. But that's the difference between Blind and hate; hate leaves mean comments unprovoked. And that is precisely my issue with the dude. I just don't know how to approach it at this point; whether I ask nicely or meanly he continues to do this and it drives me insane especially because he yells at other people for leaving comments like his on his posts. I just have mixed feelings on hate because sometimes he's nice to me and other times he just isn't. Which is the other thing about blind and him; I debate with blind all the time and I only felt disrespected once (and that was because I wasn't in a good mindset for debating) whereas hate has made me feel as if he thought my opinions were beneath him. And that's hard to debate with. For as harsh and blunt as blind can be, I've always felt like he took my points seriously and into consideration.

At this point it isn't even about quality--so to speak--but quantity. The sheer amount of times he's made little jabs like this. Jabs that didn't even need to be taken. :-/

On top of all of that hate and you both seem to focus on the negative a lot. By this I mean your polls often times are 'who is uglier?' And 'who is worse?' Instead of 'who is more beautiful.' Which is fine in moderation but people who don't know you might take those things and think of you as a negative person even if it isn't true. I just get a little sick of the negativity, until now I've kinda just kept that to myself because I didn't want to be an ass. But I think in hate's case it goes hand in hand with the comments. Lately I've only noticed him posting negative things on my polls; again I have t said anything because I just don't want to start a fight over something petty but I need to put it out there before it comes out in a bottled up explosion.

I hate to be another person in a group that is taking on one person because I know that it blows to be on the receiving end. But this time I feel like it's somewhat justified. I'm not saying any of this to be a dick to hate (or to you KataraLover) but how is anything gonna get solved if we don't discuss the elephant in the room?

Bottom line (though expressed differently) I think that everyone is just trying to ask hate to tone it down a bit and understand that we hate seeing stuff we like bashed just as much as he hates it.
Reading all of the comments everyone seems to have the same issue. And it would be cool if we can get that problem solved and not have flame wars anymore over little stuff like this.
