Why parents have to lie?

My five साल old sister writes letters to santa every क्रिस्मस and I did same years ago.

My parents wrote some fake letters which I hate to read....It even make me hate santa through those letters are not written द्वारा him.

Now parents asked me not to tell the truth behind the letters to my little sister. It makes me sad when I see her write letters : (
