Is it just me या are फिल्में receiving घर releases/releasing onto DVDs earlier than usual nowadays?

I seem to noticed that फिल्में are receiving घर releases/releasing onto DVDs WAY earlier than usual especially nowadays

I remember The Lion King came out in cinemas in June 1994 and wasn't release on VHS till March 1995.
Nowadays is ridiculous anyways when it comes to movies.
