One must be open to new things to further advance themselves. I believe that. There are times I am on the receiving end and on the recipient end of the spectrum. But in most cases I really prefer the flow of information. There are times where I do not actually like doing either one due to the circumstances for example I may not get along with someone. I wouldn't want that individual to give me सलाह या if I know for a fact that सलाह is faulty in some degree या various of other possible scenarios so all in all it really depends on the situations and the circumstances involved.
i usually feel as though im the one giving advice. I really do like getting help from others, but sometimes the सलाह they give seems useless या something that people just say आप know? something canny. But there are a few times when people really do stick it out there for me and try to help me with all of their heart. So to answer your question, it depends on what the सलाह is, weather it's insulting(like my dad's "advice") या weather i get that the person doesn't really give a damn and just says like, something really typical that i already know, या whether the person says something really typical and they care, and i know it but i can't really do much with it (although sometimes when im upset any sign of someone's affection really means a lot to me. या whether the person really helps and really has great advice. It also depends on what mood im in. Sometimes i feel like nothing या no one can help me and i just need to be left alone. But usually, i like the advice, because i like gaining new knowledge ^ ^

Yes. I like getting advice, because it can only make us better people? right. Plus if someone कहा your breath smells like कचरा, जंक, रद्दी wouldm't आप want to know?!
For me, I like getting it.. But it depends on that whether it's the right place, right time, right person and so on.. It's at a bad time, bad place with someone who thinks they know it all, they I would just not listen.. I get a lot of सलाह on women however.. I know things about them, but not EVERYTHING.. Everything else, falls in place on its own..
