Why do people like books? Movies? टेलीविज़न shows? For the same reasons people like books, people like anime.
ऐनीमे is a world all its own, it is a world filled with endless amount of possibilities. It is inspiring and enrapturing, it has the power to change us. It is an art all its own, a meaning all its own. It isn't just one thing, it's everything, and there is an ऐनीमे out there for every one, and anyone can enjoy just the right anime.
However, one thing that sets ऐनीमे apart from पुस्तकें and फिल्में is the way it's told, the way it is so boundless and free. The visuals. Because it's drawn, आप get to see every detail that went on inside the mind of the creator, and that can make a story all the better. It's imagination itself.
Anime. It has a genre for everyone. If आप like Violence and epic battles. DBZ, Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece are right up your alley! If आप prefer school ऐनीमे with a hint of the supernatural. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, या Highschool of the dead या something like that. If आप want a दिखाना with just बिना सोचे समझे stuff happening, watch Gintama.
Either way, I like it because it it has something for everyone. no matter what I feel like watching, there is an ऐनीमे that makes it 10X और awesome.

Watching ऐनीमे is alot like पढ़ना a book. It's like escapism and आप can enthrall yourself in interesting new worlds.
And that is one of the reasons why I like anime,video games,comics,manga and most media. I like the characters,scenes,concepts,etc. I mean it is just a story being told just in a different way so instead of being in a book it's in an anime. Another reason I like it because of the artwork and the culture of it. But ऐनीमे to use alot of cultures from around the globe and throw it in sometimes.
For an example. They made a Darkstalkers ऐनीमे and Darkstalkers is pretty much a video games like सड़क, स्ट्रीट Fighter but with monsters. They had a Chinese Zombie. I really liked that concept. It was much different than the western zombies and whatnot. Anyway depending on the ऐनीमे the reasons why I like it may multiply.
But the main संपूर्ण, कुल मिलाकर reason why anyone would like anything is because it catches their interests. That is the main and most important factor. ग्ली didn't really capture my interest to an extent I found alot of it to be stupid and annoying in my opinion. While I will not insult someone's देखा गया of Glee. I happen to have my own view and the verdict is: I dislike it alot actually. And unlike others I wouldn't want it to be removed. I just wouldn't watch it. I dislike Twilight and others because simply it didn't hold my interest. But alot of ऐनीमे does hold my interest but then again some don't. ऐनीमे is a huge genre and there's tons for everyone really. LITERALLY TONS. आप just need to find the one आप like and if आप don't like any other ones आप tried then I would respect your opinion about it. ^^
ऐनीमे helps me be myself. Last year, I लॉस्ट a lot of my फ्रेंड्स because we started to like different things. ऐनीमे helped keep me from going crazy. Plus, ऐनीमे is interesting to watch. And most of the ऐनीमे I like is hilarious (like हेतालिया या Baka and Test). I don't know, I just प्यार anime<3 Plus, I have a huge imagination so I add some ऐनीमे into my thoughts all the time.
For the same reason I like watching movies, tv shows या even पढ़ना books. Just to forget the real world for a सेकंड and enjoy being in these completely different worlds
