Legends?

Do any of आप know some good legends,stories,folklore, etc.?
Maybe something like alchemy. Something elaborate in which a lot of thought went into? या maybe something that's half real?
Also, please no weird fairy tails like वेयरवोल्फ या वैंपायर या परियों या something. It also can't be well know. (like everyone knows about vampires)
