Do आप really care how I am? या are आप just expecting me to say "I'm fine" because that is the generic response society has taught us to say? What if I told आप that I am depressed, hurt, lonely, aggravated, lost, fed up, frustrated, lifeless and every other negative emotion आप could feel? Would आप just tell me "That's too bad" and go on with whatever mundane thing आप are doing? या would आप try to figure out why I am feeling that way and how आप can help stop it? Don't ask me that सवाल if आप are really only interested in one answer.
At least, in the US everytime I walked into an elevator and कहा hi, everyone कहा "how are ya" So actually, आप should do this;
*burst into tears* It's HORRIBLE! Just HORRIBLE! *makes up some story about a dying goldfish and a phobia of papercuts* *elevator doors open* "Have a nice day!" *walk out smiling*
