Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29th 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He was the eighth child out of ten, born to Katherine and Joe Jackson. Many people all over the world for many generations have known him as being the world’s greatest entertainer of all time and being the world’s greatest superstar for almost his entire life of fifty years. Not only was he known as the greatest musician of all time, but he was also acknowledged for being the world’s greatest humanitarian of all time. He gave और to the world other than his संगीत and dance. Throughout his time, Michael Jackson has always been in the spotlight (especially in the media) since he was 5 years old. He has suffered a great deal throughout his career from the abuse he has endured from the press as well as the traumatic childhood that he had endured and had stolen from him. Michael Jackson started a संगीत career at the age of five. Being in a band with his brothers ( called “ The Jackson Five” and later on “The Jacksons”) and his father being their strict manager, this has caused Michael to immensely miss out on his entire childhood. This means he missed out on a lot of opportunities of a regular childhood most people get to experience during their time as a kid such as playing outside, going to the park, going out for halloween, celebrating holidays and birthdays, etc because being a child तारा, स्टार at almost the beginning of his life (like many child stars), he didn’t have time to do any of those things because of always having to rehearse everyday after school and perform almost every night.

His mother seems to be the key highlight to the start of his humanitarian career. It is possible that she has been his inspiration to become a humanitarian and dedicate his time working on helping those in need and making the world a better place. In his book Moonwalk ( which was published in 1988), he spends a great deal talking about the प्यार and admiration he had for his mother. He even mentions in the book about how she helped a homeless man when everyone else turned him down. He even mentioned to his mother that he wanted to help end starvation in Africa and help the children since it was a major issue at the time in Africa.
As somebody who recently received a bachelor's degree in Psychology (as well as an associates), I have studied the importance of childhood and how the parents shape a child's development, how extremely important it was for children to be able to experience a regular childhood as they are developing psychologically and physically into adults.I also looked into lots of research on how child fame led to psychological disturbances (such as trauma, depression, या even substance abuse) as the child grows into an adult. This is mainly because childhood is one of the most vulnerable stages of human development as the brain is still growing and developing until the child reaches their mid-20s. During his time as a humanitarian, Michael had a generous amount of interest in aiding with many global issues such as AIDS, cancer, children’s welfare, and starvation. Michael was also very passionate in helping children who were suffering and did not want them to endure losing their childhood as he did because of the long term psychological damage it has left him. He cared very much for the well being of children such as those who were living in poverty and those who were terminally ill. In fact, Michael Jackson was granting the wishes of terminally ill children during his own personal time. Michael Jackson was involved in an organization called “Make a Wish foundation” which was a non-profit organization that was used to grant the wishes of terminally ill children. Michael Jackson was the first to grant “ Make a Wish” in Wisconsin. One terminally ill patient (who made the first wish) who was diagnosed with a brain tumour at age six was Tina Scharf. At age eleven, she had huge dreams of wanting to meet Michael Jackson और than anything. In 1984, “Make-a-Wish” sent her from Wisconsin to New Jersey to meet Michael Jackson and see him in concert. Meeting Michael Jackson allowed her to forget about the pain her cancer was causing her and the treatment she had to go through. Meeting Michael Jackson in person and seeing him in संगीत कार्यक्रम gave her so much hope and strength to fight her cancer. She was 11 years old when she met him at the time. Doctors predicted that she wasn’t going to live past 12 years old but however, she was able to live past age 12 and unfortunately passed away in 2014 at age 29. In the documentary “Humanitarian- The Real Michael Jackson” Her mother suggested that meeting Michael Jackson gave Tina hope and allowed her to become stronger during her battle with cancer.

Michael has supported dozens of charities including USA for Africa, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. He is also best known as a humanitarian for his song “ We Are the World” which was released in 1985 in response to many people and children dying from starvation in Africa and there being a shortage of food. “ We Are the World” was produced द्वारा Michael Jackson and Lional Richie and it was used to raise millions of dollars towards famine relief in Africa. In 1984, Michael Jackson was filming a Pepsi commercial at the time (which resulted in his hair catching on आग and having a severe burn go to his scalp). After this incident had happened, he was taken to Brotman Medical Centre to be treated. This was a very traumatic experience that changed his life forever. During his time in the hospital, he would go around the hospital to visit burn victims and has eventually donated 1.5 million dollars to the hospital. During 1984, Michael Jackson’s humanitarian work had also received recognition after receiving an award from President Ronald Reagen for supporting drug and alcohol charities.

In 1984, a boy named Ryan White was diagnosed with aids at the age of 13 after he received a blood transfusion for hemophilia. Because of his condition, और recognition and awareness was brought about AIDS. Michael Jackson met and befriended Ryan White in 1989.
