Michael has been sitting in the hospital waiting room for three और hours. He told the family to go घर and he कहा he would call once he knew anything about होल्ली, होली and the baby. The whole time he is there he has his head in his hands thinking about both of them. After an eternity Dr. Stevens comes out. Michael stands up nervously "So how are they?" "Holly will be fine." Michael lets out a deep relieved sigh "Oh great and what about the baby?" Dr. Stevens shakes his head "I'm sorry it was already to late when we got there." Michael is just silent. "I swear Michael we tried to do everything we could. But somehow the umbilical cord wraped around the baby's neck and killed it." Michael has a tear run down his face "Can I see Holly?" "Of course follow me. She is sleeping now but आप can go in." While they are walking towards Holly's room Michael asks "Does होल्ली, होली know?" "No she won't know anything that went on, if आप want I will tell her?" "No i'll tell her." "Alright here we are, again Michael I am truly sorry I know how much आप both wanted this baby." Michael just nods his head. "Oh and it was a boy द्वारा the way." "A boy!" "Yes i'm sorry." Michael is standing in front of Holly's door having tears run down his face.

He very slowly walks in Holly's room. His दिल feels heavy seeing होल्ली, होली sleeping knowing she dosen't know what happened. He pulls up a chair beside her बिस्तर and very sweetly moves some hair away from her face. The tears in his eyes keeps forming, especially after he saw her flat stomach again. Michael keeps telling himself to be strong for them so he quickly wipes his tears away. Soon होल्ली, होली wakes up and sees Michael looking at her. She weakly says "Michael...?" He takes hold of her hand "Hi honey." "What happend, where am I?" "Your in the hospital." "Why?" "You became unconscious." "Oh yea I remember feeling lightheaded and then I just felt something hard but that's all." होल्ली, होली moves her head and suddenly she notices her flat stomach too. She starts to hyperventilate while saying "W-Where's my b-baby!?" "Honey we लॉस्ट it." She starts shaking her head and keeps repeating "No, no its not true!" "Yes 'Holl'." "H-How!?" "It doesn't matter how." "I want to know!" She yells at him. "The umbilical cord got caught around its neck." She starts to cry loudly and screams "NO!" Michael is chocked with tears but he is trying not to let them fall. "Honey please don't cry." He hugs her tightly. She becomes hysterical so much that the nurses can hear her. "Holly आप have to calm down!" Suddenly the nurse comes in. "What's going on in here!" She asks. "Nurse she's becoming hysterical I don't what to do?" "I'll go get something." The nurse comes back and shoots होल्ली, होली up with a sedative to calm her down. Suddenly होल्ली, होली becomes calm and relaxed. "Listen Mr. Jackson maybe आप should leave for a little while." The nurse suggests. Michael nods his head. He gives होल्ली, होली a किस and wispers "I'll be back in a little while." With that he leaves to go घर and tell the family the bad news.

When the family was told they were absoutly devastated. They कहा in two और days होल्ली, होली could be discharged. Michael is trying to remain strong that he is trying to be upbeat. He comes in Holly's room on the morning the hospital was releasing her. "Hi honey!" He says upbeat. "So are आप ready to come घर today?" होल्ली, होली just remains silent. "So why don't आप get dressed and we will go home!" होल्ली, होली gets out of बिस्तर and grabs some clothes not uttering a word to him. "Hey how about this 'Holl' why don't we watch a movie together in the movie theater?" "Fine." She उत्तरों flatly. He sighs "We can watch 'Top Gun' it came out a few days ago?" "Whaterver आप want." She starts to walk towards the bathroom. "Holly how are आप feeling?" "I'm fine." "Are आप sure because I..." "I कहा i'm Fine!" होल्ली, होली says snippy. "Alright." Michael says taken back द्वारा her tone with him.

When they arrive घर no one is there, which Michael was kinda happy about because he didn't want them to ask होल्ली, होली सवालों and get her upset. They walk up towards their bedroom. "So do आप wanna go watch that movie?" He says opening the door. "I want to lie down Michael." She उत्तरों very coldly. "Okay." Right before he goes out the door he turns होल्ली, होली around and kisses her. She puts to effort in चुंबन him back and when he looks into her eyes he doesn't see that life in her anymore, now he sees anger and sadness. "Holly do आप want to talk about anything?" "There's nothing to talk about now if you'll excuse me." Michael walks out the door and turns around. He sweetly says "I प्यार you." She looks at him and shuts the door in his face. That hurt his feeling beyond belief, never had he ever कहा "I प्यार you" without her saying "I प्यार आप back!" He just stands there feeling hurt.
