Katara, द्वारा the river,
Aglow in a sliver
Of cold moonlight,
With no clouds in sight;
The water at her beck and call,
Obeying her every gesture,
Her silent commands to rise and fall
Moulded द्वारा her gentle pressure….
I saw my lover,
Princess Yue, wrapped in glowing silver;
Entombed द्वारा the moon’s cold light,
Reflected in that river;
Yet no unbroken image lay
To soothe my eyes या gently stay
The choppy water, glistening
In a multitude of highlights, shifting
Like a shattered mirror drifting by:
A million tears of light did cry….
No bending of that cold water
द्वारा highly-trained martial master,
Nor silent plea of moon princess,
Immortalized in emptiness,
Could restore what seemed लॉस्ट forever,
या ransom the cost of being together…..
But as Katara looked up at the moon
To meet Yue’s gaze simultaneously,
They both noticed just as soon
A bunny appearing spontaneously,
Bending words on my behalf,
Transmitting to my other half:
“One moonlit night,
आप became a part of me,
And आप चुरा लिया the दिल of me
And left me all alone….
This moonlit night,
I still feel the दिल of thee
Beat for me so longingly,
But you’re gone, you’re gone”.
MOONBUNNY WATCHES OVER KATARA
I am weightless as a dove
In an airbender’s wake;
My very soul does shake,
Tremble,
Disassemble
As molecules of life
Reassemble
From the ashes of old strife,
Cradled as in Mother’s womb,
Yet freed from death’s icy tomb;
As I am drawn into Katara’s kiss,
As if drinking crystal water, bliss-
Ful, after a century of thirst
Unquenched; the first
Drop alone sufficient for my being to burst
Forth to the fullest,
In the fullness of her embrace,
Transcending Time and Space…
So deep within the mantle of Avatar
Springs the life-giving water of Katara.
