(Last time we left off, Jacob kissed Bella and Bella couldn't sleep)
I sat at my window for a long time thinking things through. Why did Jacob किस me? And why when He was gone? I really was worried about how that would affect us. "Jacob, wake up!" I said.

"Please Jacob answer me! Who did this to you?" I pleaded.
His face slowly opened but I could see the pain in his eyes.
"It was.." he responded weakly.
"Who?" I demanded.
"Victoria," he explained softly.
Oh no. Not my best friend, not now. I couldn't lose him now. I needed him for everything. I wouldn't dare to think my life without him.
"But I thought wolf's healed fast," I said.
"We do but with vampire's wounds it's a little slower," he answered slowly.
"Well can't the other's help?" I asked hopefully.
"Not right now. They're still hunting her now. They don't have time to help me," he said.
