Scorch opened his eyes. He gasped and shot up in fright. Where was he!? He didn't recognize this place at all. He scented something- somebody- that he should remember. But it was stale. He also picked up a bunch of other stale scents. However, they were all strange to him. The only one that was even slightly familiar was a slight trace of Irken.

"Scorch!" a voice startled him, "You're awake at last!" Scorch spun around, ready to सवाल whoever the voice belonged to. He opened his jaws, but paused. 'I know this Lightopian!' he immediately thought.

"K-Kat..." the young Firio stuttered. "Still stuttering?" she asked. He nodded in response. Scorch had always been scared of everything. He was just the opposite of his old friend Sparklene, who was pretty much fearless. Back on Lightopia, she used to tease Darkbloods- horrible, ugly, and vicious dark red creatures with long crooked horns- just as a little Scrapling. Sadly, she disappeared after her mother was murdered द्वारा the Lightopian leader, who was also Sparky's father. He missed her terribly...

"You fell out of the sky." Kat said, "Which reminds me- I must check your arm." Scorch was now aware of a sharp pain in his left foreleg, which was also used as a regular arm. He let the Lightopian nurse inspect it. "Yes." she sighed sadly, "It's broken." Scorch whimpered.

Suddenly, the door swung open, causing Scorch to let out a shriek. A human girl stood there. She had messy, long black hair and large, beautiful blue eyes. The girl also wore a strange necklace. There was something very familiar about this girl! "KAT!" she whined, grabbing the हार and lifting it over her head, "HUMANS ARE SO CRUEL! YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT THEY DID TODAY!" She threw the हार to the गुलाबी Lightopian, who caught it. Scorch looked at Kat. "They tripped आप on the stairs?" she said.

Scorch turned to look back at the girl, but she wasn't there! Instead, stood a beautiful बकाइन colored Lightopian. She had the same gorgeous eyes as Kat, although her healthy lashes weren't as long.
She stood there for a सेकंड before pouting. "You guessed right." she muttered, before gathering her strength and jumping over a lamp that had fallen over when the door was opened. She landed softly, before rolling over once. The young Lightopian stood up, not a speck of dirt on her perfect body. She flicked an antenna at Scorch before walking across the room and into the रसोई, रसोईघर for a snack.

Kat muttered something, catching Scorch's attention, "You remember Sparky, right? Well, that whiny दिखाना off was her. Apparently, she's hungry. I'm not surprised, either- her stomach's a bottomless pit." Scorch looked at the doorway where Sparky had disappeared. He blinked. At last, he had found his love.

A/N- For those of आप who don't know what a Lightopian या Firio is (Which most of आप should, but it's fine if आप don't), they're my fan-made species. I currenly have only Lightopians in my pictures, for Firios where only recently though up in my twisted mind.

No, Sparklene (Prefers Sparky) is NOT that beautiful. Not even close. This is told from Scorch's point of view (somewhat) and it was प्यार at first sight for him.

I'll probably end up लेखन a story about when they were शिशु soon... Let me know if आप think I should continue this!
