Hugh drove with one hand on the wheel and the other interlocked with her hand. He loved Jo but it was a different love. It was प्यार for raising his children when he couldn’t be there. “Jo, about a महीना ago, on my birthday, I took Lisa to a party. Just to celebrate. We got…a little drunk. My buddy, Hale, drove us घर so we wouldn’t die. I forgot my house keys so Lisa kindly offered that I crash at her place. I did. Somehow, we woke up in bed…together. We decided that it was just the alcohol and to never tell anyone about it again.” He paused to wait for her reaction.

Jo stayed calm and didn’t दिखाना any emotion so he continued. Hugh gave a worried look at Lisa. “Just today Lisa…she found out she was pregnant.” He said. An awkward silence engulfed the room. “Jo? Jo stormed out of the room and into the kitchen. They then heard voices coming from the रसोई, रसोईघर so they tiptoed over and listened in. “They actually think that आप were faithful.” A male voice spoke. “I know. Hugh and Lisa looked at eachother in awe as they poked around the corner.

“That went well.” He कहा as they got into the car. “Yeah. It went a lot smoother than I thaught. I guess there was really no need to bring this then.” She कहा as she reached under her स्कर्ट and pulled out a small dog tazer. “Holy shit, Lisa!” He कहा with a laugh. “Well, आप can never be too prepared.” She put the tazer in the back seat. “Now get driving to the hospital.” She comanded and off they drove.

20 मिनटों later they arrived at LAH (Los Angeles Hospital). It was a very good hospital and that’s why they drove the extra 10 मिनटों to go to this one.

“Hi, I need to make an appointment with Dr. Helen Bakus.” Lisa कहा to the nurse there. Dr. bakus had been her friend’s doctor when she was pregnant and she was very good. “Oh, your in luck. Dr. Bakus is in the clinic right now and will be out in about 10 minutes. If आप could just fill out these papers and she’ll be right out.” The kind lady कहा handing her a cliboard, pen, and the papers. “Thankyou.” Hugh and Lisa sat in the waiting room and filled out the papers. Once she was done filling out the papers she handed them to the nurse and 5 मिनटों later Dr. Bakus came out.

“Ms. Edelstein.” Dr. Bakus announced. Hugh and Lisa arose and walked into an exam room. “Ok, so आप are pregnant. How far along are we?” The Dr. asked very professionally. “I just found out today.” Lisa said. “Hmmmm…good.
