A Happy Life:Chapter 3
[House pulls cuddy to the side.]

House: Cuddy, we are going to need Rachel's biological parents medical records. We have to know everything so I can help her.

[Cuddy looks at House with a frightened look on her face. Tears well up in Cuddy's eyes. Cuddy nods regretfully.]

Cuddy: They checked her out before she was released. They should have some records here. We should have the records from her biological mother here as well.
House: We will need the ones for the father as well. We don't have anything for him. We need to talk to him and his parents.

[Cuddy looks at House with a look of horror in her eyes]

Cuddy: House, I don't think we need to talk to Simon's parents.

[Cuddy looks at House with fear and heartbreak in her eyes. House leans in towards Cuddy ear.]

House: I know that your afraid of Cuddy. They didn't want her then and they aren't going to want her now. आप are her mother.

[Cuddy grabs House's hand and squeezes it and House holds tight to her fingers. Cameron walks over to House and Cuddy]

Cameron: She seems to be somewhat stable now. We have her fever under control for now. Her दिल is beating again. We have her on the vent to make it easier on her system. Cuddy I'm so sorry. Don't worry we will help her. आप can go and be with her now.

[Cuddy and House walk to the Rachels room. The baby is in a small बिस्तर with tubes and wires. Cuddy legs start to wobble as she sees her baby in such a helpless state. House catches her arm and guides her to the chair beside the बिस्तर and she sits down. Cuddy places a hand on her infants chest as it rises and falls with the ventilator.]

Cuddy: oh god. She looks so helpless. House.. what if..

[Cuddy begins to cry. House reaches behind him and then puts his arm around Cuddy and hugs her.]

House: Cuddy the kid is going to be okay. If she anything like her mother she's stubborn and strong willed.

[Cuddy laughs slightly and leans into House's shoulder]

Cuddy: thank आप House.

House: I'll get one of my team to call Simon's parents to get a family history.

[Foreman,13,and Taub walk into the ER. They see House over in a room with Cuddy. They walk towards the room.House leans his head down and whisper in Cuddy's ear]

House: I'll be back in a bit. I'll be up with the team doing the differential for the kid.I can help the kid और up there than down here caring. If आप need me या anything happens call me.

[House squeezes Cuddy's shoulder. Cuddy sighs.]

Cuddy: okay. Thanks

[House walks out of the room towards his team. They all have a puzzled look on their face.]

After watching all of season four I have come to the opinion that House and Cuddy are deeply in प्यार with one another they just don't realize it completely.
