House was sitting on the floor of his bathroom. The door was locked and he was alone, alone in the tiny room with a bottle of whiskey and an half-empty glass. The brown liquid glimmered almost bronze in the gloomy light of the bathroom lamp. Maybe it was his real remedy. The real pain killer, because it was able to kill a sort of pain the little white pills were not capable to deaden and this was his emotional pain.
House stared at his glass as if he could find all aswers to his unspoken सवालों in it, deep in the center. He was almost hypnotized and completely absent-minded when a well-known voice suddenly pulled him out of his lethargy.

"Have आप missed me?"

Amber stood right beside him and it took him a moment to realize he was hallucinating, again.

"Go away!"

He protested weakly, he didn't want to have any company, not even imaginary one.

"That's not a very nice welcome..."

Amber scoffed.

"Leave me alone..."

"I'm a hallucination. Actually I am just a reflection of your subconsciousness, so आप want me to be here."

"What do आप want?" House asked impatiently.

"Well...I don't know, ask yourself."

"Go away!"

House's voice was filled with anger.

Amber remained where she was, sneering at House who closed his eyes, hoping it would lead to an improvement.

"It's not that easy. आप wanted me to be here so here I am."

"GO AWAY!"

"House?"

Another voice was calling. A concerned one. Followed द्वारा a knock on his door.

"Open up! I know you're there!"


Now I am hearing your voice
and not only mine
which I wanted to lay into your mouth
in times of your silence


"Awesome...it's not enough to hallucinate cutthroat कुतिया, मतलबी but the devil herself."

House muttered with closed eyes.

"House! I'm serious! If आप won't open the door, I will find a way!"

He opened his eyes to find Amber staring him, silently, but with a sneer in the corners of her mouth. Shooting a glare at her, he focused his attention on the door and yelled

"Leave me alone!" in its direction.

"I won't हटाइए until आप unlock the door!"

There was no doubt that Cuddy was real but House wished she was only another imagination of his brain.

"Fine. I hope आप have fun. Could take आप a while...and don't touch any of my beer."

"House! Open the damn door!"

"Let me think about it....the answer is no!"

"I'll call Wilson...or the police...no matter what it takes me to make आप open the door."

A wave of weariness and feebleness overcame him as he pushed his whiskey glass away and got up. Amber kept her eyes glued on House who felt uncomfortable under her gaze though he knew it was only happening in his mind.

House opened the door in one start which caused Cuddy almost a heartattack.

"House!"

She glared at him.

"Why are आप here?"

"I was worried about you..."

"There's no need to be worried, I am peachy."

Cuddy remained silent and looked at him.


Now I am seeing your face
not only the mask from my memory
which looked at me in times
of your averted eyes


"You can return घर या to the hospital...or wherever आप came from, you've checked on me, I'm fine so there's no need for आप to be here."

"I don't want to leave आप alone...in this situation."

"Cuddy...I'm grown up, I can take care of myself."

"I understand that आप have gone through a difficult time, it was not easy for all of us, but I'm here to support you...to दिखाना आप that you're not alone."

"You understand nothing. I want to be alone! I don't want आप to be here."

House could see the pain in Cuddy's eyes but he ignored it.
He averted his eyes from the sight. It was not the right time for feeling bad of what he had said. Not yet.

"Fine! If that is what आप want..."

Her voice was filled with anger, disappointment, vulnerabilty, sorrow, resignation and pain.
Then she turned on her heels and fulfilled his wish as she left the apartment.

House gazed after her for a long time after she had left.

"It's not what I want...but what I need."


Because I know
that I have
irrecoverably लॉस्ट you
I begin to find you


"Idiot!"

Amber कहा and stared at him.

If he wouldn't have known it better he had thought she was angry.
Then she disappeared again and left him alone.
He closed the door and locked it again.
It was just him, the whiskey and the glass.
But it didn't seem to be a remedy to him anymore.


Last good advice
