Season 1, Episode 11- Sylar Help

हे guys, im trying to figure this out. After sylar took off after dropping to the ground with peter, he was caught द्वारा the haitian and the girl, their powers seemed to work on him. But after, when she goes in alone to make him kill himself, he just blasts opens the glasses and is all of a sudden immune. He blows her brains out but instead of escaping, (after that wave of power आप think he could) he gets caught again some how? Why didnt he telekinesis out of there in the first place? Why was not immune and then immune? I know there's no clear answer but प्रशंसक guess's are very much appreciated!
