Intervention
CC reached an old church. The steeple towered over her and the sound of the choir inside, seeped through the door which was ajar, just enough for her to slip inside. She hid behind one of the pews to avoid being spotted द्वारा the singers, although they were probably too preoccupied to notice. "Oh great, Kowalski's device must be broken. Why would it lead me here?" CC spoke to herself and folded her flippers in disappointment. She glanced around the church and caught sight of Bandit and MS stood on a wooden platform resting on three beams at the front of the church. "They're ok!" CC was overjoyed. When suddenly, she heard bleeping… Glancing through the door, she saw Skipper and the penguins heading straight for the church. CC panicked, pushed the door closed and climbed the ornate pillar to reach the platform.
Bandit spun round in shock as she saw CC climb onto the platform. MS prepared to fight with CC but Bandit reassured him. "Hey! Don't worry, that's CC remember? She helped us" She patted Mech-Skippers shoulder and he lowered his guard, then she turned to CC. "What are आप doing here? If the penguins find out you're helping us, they'll banish आप for insubordination!" Bandit was concerned for CC, knowing that it would be their fault if she was banished. CC nodded and hugged Bandit. "I don't care what Skipper says, I just want to make sure आप are safe" Her voice trembled slightly, then she remembered what she was here for. "Bandit, Skipper and his team are coming here, to get आप and MS" She let go of Bandit and stepped away to watch the door. Bandit rolled her eyes, "Oh great… I knew they'd find us eventually. But I never thought they'd find me here! They must have followed me out" She punched a beam and sat down beside MS. CC shook her head "No, they didn't follow आप out, they… tracked you" CC found it hard to say it, knowing that Bandit would probably freak out. She was right. "HOW!? How on earth could they track me!" She jumped to her feet and began to pace up and down the platform, deep in thought. "Well… Remember those मछली they AAAA!" CC was suddenly cut off mid-sentence as Rune pounced on her. Rune grabbed CC's beak and held it shut. "Quiet! Those गाना people might hear us!". CC rolled over and stood to her feet, she took Rune's सलाह and spoke in a whisper. "Rune! What are आप doing here? I thought I told आप to stay with Marlene!" CC looked down at Rune, who was now looking guilty. "I thought आप might want some help… And, I wanted to see Bandit and the robot before they leave."
Bandit picked up Rune and stroked her head. "Rune, it's dangerous to follow us around. Skipper wants Mech-Skipper destroyed and will do anything to achieve that goal. He doesn't even care if I get in the way, I'm a traitor now…" She placed Rune down on a tattered old cushion and turned to CC. "You need to get her away from here, from us. If Skipper IS coming for me, I'll just keep moving" Bandit explained. " I promised to take care of MS, I don't want आप two hurt in the process. I've already लॉस्ट Sanders and Calvin, I won't lose my फ्रेंड्स too." Bandit showed very little emotion as she spoke, despite the sad topic. CC shook her head in disagreement "But that's what I was trying to tell you… They can find आप no matter where आप go. They placed a tracker on you" She closed her eyes, preparing for Bandit to freak out again. "A tracker!?... Well, no problem! I'll just take it off. So, where is it, in my bandana? My daggers?" She grabbed one of her daggers and began to inspect it carefully, tugging at the blade. CC watched and कहा "No… It's there…" She pointed to Bandit's stomach. Rune walked up to her and gave her a hug. "It was in the मछली they gave you" She sniffled as tears began to well up in her eyes. Bandit stared forwards in disbelief. "You… WHAT!?" Rune covered her ears and ran back to CC who was also covering her ears. Bandit held her stomach in disgust and tried to barf but it didn't work. MS watched as Bandit wandered around the platform coughing and gagging. He smiled slightly, as did Rune. "I don't think it works like that Bandit" She giggled. CC held her flipper to her mouth "Ugh, and don't expect me to clean it up afterwards…" She began to feel sick just watching. Bandit stopped coughing and turned to CC. "Then tell me, HOW do we get away from…." A large explosion sent the church door crashing into the church and a thick बादल of smoke filled the air…
