When i first came to फैन्पॉप i didn't really do anything much but make the occasional pick and watch वीडियो but when i did start to contribute और it was because of the nice टिप्पणियाँ and messages that प्रशंसकों sent me that made me a addict.

I प्यार to contribute for others but i प्यार it even और when someone shows that they appreciate it weather it be a prop, a nice टिप्पणी दे या message या simply rating it.
If प्रशंसकों hadn't of been so nice i probably wouldn't spend even a quarter of much time on फैन्पॉप as i do now, as the best thing is talking and joking with the फ्रेंड्स I've made on here.

So it truly does annoy and upset me when i see प्रशंसकों criticizing new fans. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for telling new प्रशंसकों about repeat picks, grammar and image credits but only if it's done in a constructive and friendly manner.

for example on a हाल का pick, yes it had a funny spelling mistake on the सवाल itself but there was no need for प्रशंसकों to say stuff like

"you can't spell for crap"
"my god, what did आप think the पूर्व दर्शन was for?"
"get a creative mind"
"seriously get a dictionary"

या another example is from a soapbox

"gee, how original"
"unoriginal and I'm not sure this passes as English?"
"what do आप think spell check is for?"
"well it gave me a laugh"

now आप may read these टिप्पणियाँ and think they all must be from trolls या something, but a lot of of these टिप्पणियाँ were from users who are generally brilliant and have always been really nice to me and other users and i do understand their frustration and i too have occasionally left a टिप्पणी दे that was probably harsher than it should have been.

So if आप are going to criticize someone
-try and make it polite
-don't be sarcastic with them
-remember English isn't everybodies' first language
-try and point out something positive
-make it constructive

I think one of the best things is when i see a प्रशंसक sticking up for a new user and encouraging them
as like i कहा encouragement is what made me and I'm sure many other users stick around and become addicts.
and of course all new users are brilliant, as they bring loads of new ideas and we were all new once.
