Chapter 5: Inside Her Head
"My daughter. What do I hear in there? Is that Nakoma?" Chief Powhatan asks. "I thought आप two weren't on speaking terms ever since, well, John Smith....you actually haven't been on speaking terms with anyone since John left, not even me." Chief Powhatan hasn't slept for nights, so worried about his daughter, but she still wouldn't tell him anything.
"Yes father, Nakoma and I have reconciled and she and I are inside talking right now," Pocahontas says, lying through her teeth. "Now if you'll please excuse us."
