Belle and Mulan are my two favorite princesses. I'm gonna have to say Ariel. She still rocks though. ;)

Ariel's my next on deck. Even though I love her, if the Ariel-loving riggers who messed with earlier picks come back next round, I will be super mad. This is a hard pick...as they all were.

dweeb, I absolutely agree. Ariel is also favorited, but she has many people that don't like her too. Belle doesnt seem to have anyone that doesnt like her.

I actually agree with you guys but only when I feel something is overrated and doesn't really deserve all the praise.

For example, I liked Twilight all right and I read the books but because everyone went a little nuts over it and I def didn't think it was THAT great, I hate it now.

But then on the other hand you have Harry Potter which people also go crazy over but that actually deserves the praise so it doesn't bother me. Does that make sense?

But with Belle I see why she's loved and I think she's perfectly rated, so she fits into that second category for me.

It makes sense, but we don't dislike Belle. I actually like her a lot,and could never hate her. I just think some of the others are much better than her, and it gets annoying sometimes... =/

I think what ALetterToElise is trying to say, is Belle is great, but she's not necessarily so much better than the other princesses, which is how some people act

yeah I see what you're talking about, because earlier I think Ariel is okay, but now it makes me annoyed when a character is favorited so much. That's why I don't like her..
But... to be honest I don't understand, if you see how amazing the heroine is, how can you love her less only just because others love her!? If you have a friend which everybody loves, you only will be happy that there're so many sensible people!!?
But of course it's my humble opinion and I respect all yours :)

Are people thinking more rigging shenanigans? I was thinking it might just be that fans of characters like Belle and Ariel seem most active on the spot, so early votes are going their way, and the later ones are trickling in for characters whose fans seem less active like Pocahontas and Mulan. Mulan was beating Ariel by about the same amount on the last pick if I remember right. But maybe I just want to think it's not rigging because the idea of anyone cheating on something like this is so sad I can barely bring myself to admit it's possible, lol. Note to any potential cheats: It's a pick on the Disney Princess spot, not a Presidential election :)

These are my current top 3 anyway and I like them about equally, so whichever order the go out in now, I'm happy. Especially for Mulan. Even if she goes out now I wasn't expecting her to get this far.
On the popularity thing, I don't think a character being popular has ever put me off, though when people pretend to like something more than they really do to jump on a bandwagon that's annoying. Not something I think I've seen with these characters though.

Whoa. I'm actually surprised that Mulan is leading in this pick... I love Mulan's attitude. She's probably my favourite out of these three.

Unbiasedly, I don't think anyone dislikes Mulan. Aurora always makes it to the top four when I just plain ask "Which princess is your favorite", because nobody has a chance to vote against her. But Aurora is also a lot of people's least favorite. Whereas Mulan may not be most people's favorite but she's rarely peoples least favorite. These countdowns are more cumulative.

I LOVE Mulan and Belle. I like Ariel too but she's never been one of my "favorites." She's the least independent of the 3 which i always calculate into my considerations because the stronger the princess is the more i like them :)

LOL. its a hard choice. It's interesting because I think independence is a major factor for girls liking princesses. I mean, the top 5 princesses voted in this countdown are all independent. Tiana was one not in the top 5, but I think she was voted out because of her lack of fun, which is another factor.

I agree completely with you Princesslullaby about the fact that even though Mulan isnt many peoples favourite, shes also hardly anyones least favourite either. So true. The same goes with Pocahontas.

15 minutes ago it said 62 fans voted, now it says 67? 5 votes in 15 minutes? it just seems very unlikely especially since its closing soon, its not like its just started

you know, I made here on this spot a countdown. 9 days ago there were 3397 fans, and today already 3494! Almost 100 new fans for 9 days! well, they could vote only some picks, maybe that's why there's such difference between number of fans in every pick.
I want to explain it in this way, because I don't want to think that it's all rigging :(

Seems to me Mulan is really the one who's supposed to be losing, but people keep cheating voting against ariel. ill just do a god damn tiebreaker. I don't think I need to though. Ariel is pretty consistenly the second favorite of the princesses, after Belle. And I'm not just saying that as an Ariel fan.

I personally think for the next round you should put the final Princesses as Ariel and Belle.

The loser of this round should be Mulan. Im not being biased at all, because as you can see I have actually voted for Ariel. But as you said, it seems that people are voting against her and rigging the poll. It would be more fair to do Belle/Ariel in the final round.
