I'm actually a fan of all 3!
Well, tbh, I want Poca with John, I do. At least the John from the first movie, not the douchebag John from the second. But I actually do like John Rolfe. And Kocoum. I always thought Poca, while a bad match for Kocoum, was a little ruder to him than necessary. He's a caring guy, if a little serious. He certainly didn't deserve to die.

Kocoum is by far my favorite character from Pocahontas, just watch the movie and pay attention to him and you'll see why I think so

I knew cromulanfav would pick Kocoum. Hehe. I actually like John Rolfe. John Smith is fine.

I'm mutual towards Rolfe though I prefer Smith. John Rolfe is actually a good guy, people really only dislike him because he "took John Smith's girl". If anyone paid attention to that movie, Poca picked John Rolfe, he didnt force her to choose him. It's also the writer's fault that John Smith was made to look like a douche

I'm not a big Rolfe fan, not because of the fact that he stole Poca from Smith, but because I just don't like his personality. And I think Kocoum's OK. Maybe if I saw some of those deleted scenes where he's interacting with Poca I'd think he's great.

Kocoum is the best guy in the movie. I feel bad for him ):

i definitely prefer Smithy to Rolfe, but i don't hate Rolfe. i hate sequel-Smithy, and don't blame Poca for choosing Rolfe then. the writers for JNW are going to get lots of angry hate mail.

I like all of them, just at varying degrees.

Smith is WAY better than Rolfe by far.

I love Kocoum. He's sweet and is very concerned when he thinks Pocahontas is in trouble. And he carries his friend to safety when he's shot. I just think Kocoum is sweet and cares for his tribe.

I don't hate Rolfe, it's just I don't like the idea of Pocahontas going with him instead of Smith! I can't help I love and adore John Smith as from the first movie and was completely upset the writters destroyed an amazing charcter in the sequel so Poca could go with Rolfe! I thought it was wrong how they did that! I still love Smith regardless of the sequel,it's not gonna change my mind about him! Because look at this way the sequels just never live up to the originals plus they will never be as remmermable as the originals!And it's not right to judge a charcter because of a bad sequel,because the John Smith we all grew to know and love is still the same and hasn't changed.it's almost as the sequel don't exist even though it does,it's just best not to watch that sequel much in which I don't watch it hardly,and John is still the same!

John Rolfe was voiced by one of my favorite actors. John Smith was voiced by an actor I don't much like, so (as fangirly as it sounds) I have to pick Rolfe.

I like it that way.

My favorite male character from Pocahontas is Ratcliffe. Smith is my favorite of these three. I dislike Kocoum and hate the sequel.
