yes,i can learn to apreciate Ariel,unfortunately i barely can stand her,while i don't hate her like years ago,i just can't like her,But my mind is not closed

I appreciate Tiana and Belle in some ways: reading and working hard. But a large group of people I have met--- classmates, friends, teachers, employers, would-be love interests--- have all snubbed me and treated me like dirt when they wanted to ( just like Belle does with her snippy remarks), and I find it hard to be around these people. People who are narcissistic (that inflated sense of self-importance Belle has), don't "know" why they "want to punish me." They just know that they want to. Dare I say it? Belle doesn't like humble, normal, hum-drum people. Belle wants only the best for herself. Belle has been highly rated throughout Disney for years, but I don't admire Belle at all. It's been 25 years. I passed up a jacket with Disney princesses because Belle was so prominently displayed... Belle needs to work on her people skills, and that's the absolute truth.

Tiana is only good until you step on her triggers. Then she lets loose with a whole lot of negative venom about "what you should do, as opposed to what you have done." Since Tiana sees other people this way, as "fixer uppers" and "in need of constant watchful eyes while being whipped into shape" her interaction is abrasive. I don't want to listen to someone lecture me about my flaws all of the time. I have lived my whole life in their house. I want to move away from people like that.

I tried to like Tiana. It's been 7 years. So... not much is going to change. My mom likes Tiana ( but, of course that makes sense, because my mom has Tiana's personality). Just try living with someone like Tiana. I have emotional trauma from that.

So. Nah. I can't stand either one. And I can barely stand Merida's Peter Pan Syndrome. Merida won't grow up, or explore anything new, and she wants to stay with mommy and daddy forever. My parents have criticized me so often, I almost want to...not see them that often. I want to leave home. So I can't relate to Merida much, either.

I used to dislike certain Disney Princesses with a passion! At that time, I was very staunch about it, so I actually surprised myself when I realized that I no longer felt those feelings. I don't think it's about whether you're willing to change your mind about things. I feel like as you grow older, your mind naturally begins to let go some of the stuff. I don't even know why I hated those princesses, but now, I barely hate any of them.

On another note, they are only imaginary. Now, I don't see why there's a reason to hate any of them. They have their flaults, yes, but they're make-believe. It's necessary that they make mistakes because nobody likes a Mary-Sue. So I think the fact that the creators gave them flawed personalities makes them more beautiful than ever.

I agree with FloraorStella. That being said, Rapunzel has been my least favorite for so long now that I don't see that changing any time in the future. It has happened in the past though, so you never know.

I think it is very important to always have an open mind. Otherwise, Grumpy might not have ever accepted me, and I could not bear to think that way.

I used to dislike Snow and Cindy but like them now. Not sure about Elsa though.

agree with FloraorStella. But my mind already keeps changing about the least favorites more often than my most favorite as I keep finding positive things in them and they keep shifting in the lower end of my list.
