A/N: So I was watching Beauty and the Beast this morning and I read a story
about the prince before he was transformed and it gave me this idea. I
thought it would be interesting to see the individual changes from who the
prince was before to who he was after Belle broke the spell. I also thought that
it would be interesting to see it through the eyes of someone besides Belle
या the prince.
Also I use the name Adam for the prince.
Disclaimer: I do not own Belle या the Beast/Prince/Adam या any of the other
characters...lets just say I do not own Beauty and the Beast. Also I dont remember
clearly how everything went in "The एनचांटेड Christmas" so im just making it up.
[Before the tranformation]
The गढ़, महल was warm and decorated beautifully for the occasion, despite the
cold weather outside. Misletoe hung all over and the banquet तालिका, टेबल was filled
with delicious looking food, prepared with my help of course.
I have been living in this गढ़, महल since the master's parents were teenagers, newly
weds, new rulers of the country of France. I was there the दिन of his birth. Oh
how his parents loved him.
But being the King and क्वीन was very time consuming and instead of paying
attention to the young prince, they bought him anything his little दिल desired
to make up for not always being there.
Adam, the prince, became very irritable, his temper was like a gun ready to fire. He
was also very demanding and not very greatful for anything.
One night, only 4 months पूर्व we got news that while in a foreign land the
King and Queen's carriage had been overturned into a creek द्वारा highwaymen
who were about to be caught द्वारा the royal guards, they drowned.
This only made things worse.
Adam was now alone under the supervision of the employment of the castle.
His Uncle would rule until he turned 21 then the सिंहासन would be turned over to
the true heir.
The master became much और demanding and his temper got even worse, he
was just a lonely little boy and perhaps if he had फ्रेंड्स या even had gotten
attention from his parents while they were still alive he would have been different.
I heaved out a huge sigh as I watched Chip run around with Sultan the castle's dog.
He was so much like his father, right from the blonde hair to the big blue eyes.
My husband had been apart of the royal guard and just so happened to be
driving the carriage when the accident happened, he too drowned in the creek.
This had been a hard साल for us all.
"Mama! Mama!" Chip giggled as he ran up to me and wrapped his tiny little arms
around my knees. The sweet innocent three साल old lifted his soft blue gaze up at
me.
"What is it my dear boy?" I asked him as I gently plucked him off the floor his
tiny legs wrapping around my waist and arms around my neck.
"When can we open presents?" He asked in an excited whisper, I had to smile,
such chile like wonder.
"We have to wait until the master is done opening his" I whispered into his ear
looking around pretending that it was a secret.
His little गुलाबी lips formed a slight pout. The Master had never been particulary
nice to Chip, then again who was he nice to.
"EVERYONE! ITS TIME TO OPEN MY PRESENTS!" Adam shouted from his सिंहासन at
the far end of the grand ballroom.
The Master's only ten, yet he has the authority that any kid would like. He has
a house full of servants that no matter what have to do as said.
The staff all ran over quickly to where he was sitting as not to make him mad.
I could see Cogsworth nervously looking at his clock and randomly grabbing the
presents from underneath the grand tree.
Lumiere was flirting with Babette as usual until Cogsworth came and knocked him
over the head and कहा something through clenched teeth. After that Lumiere
quickly went over to the पेड़ and grabbed as many presents as he could.
After everyone settled in front of the master he began to open each present
individually. Then he got to one that came from all of us.
"Master that one is from all the staff" Lumiere told him from beside the सिंहासन as
he straigtened out his कमीज, शर्ट and puffed out his chest proudly.
We had spent awhile on picking out the Master's present, it had to be perfect.
Well it just had to be something that he wouldnt yell at us over.
"Yeah...Yeah.." Adam grumbled as he unwrapped the square shaped object, taking
the book in his hand he looked at it disbelievingly. Then his face turned red, and
everyone braced themselves for the tantrum.
"What is this?! A Book?! Who gives someone a book for Christmas?! Especially a
Prince?!" He growled out at all of us his clear blue eyes flashing with anger, he pushed
his hands through his golden hair and let out an overdramatic sigh.
"When will आप ever learn!" He yelled at us as we all took small steps back already
use to these outbreaks of anger. We couldnt do anything, he was the Prince.
At that exact moment a knock on the door could be heard from down the hall,
who could possibly be out on such a cold winters night? Especially on Christmas.
"Do I have to do everything around here?!" Adam shouted at us as his little form
left the room to go answer the door.
That was strange, a prince never answered his own door, especially on such
a cold night like tonight.
"Mama?" Mama whats going on?" Chip asked as we heard the Prince speaking
to what seemed to be an old beggar women.
"I dont know Chip, I really dont know."
After that night...nothing ever felt like it would be the same.
[After the transformation]
"...and they all lived happily ever after," The prince turned king read to the two
little girls sitting in front of him on the floor द्वारा the fireplace.
"What happened अगला papa?" Little Rose whispered quietly to her father still caught
up in the magic of the story, her big blue eyes round with curiousity. Her Twin,
sisiter Lillian had the same expression on her face, her doelike brown eyes
searching her fathers for answers.
Quite the transformation after Belle came to the castle, it feels like yesterday
that their "Papa" hated books, and just hated people in general. But being
turned into a beast could have been one of the best things that could have
happened to him.
Well almost, if आप dont count Belle arriving at our doorstep and falling in love
with a "hideous" creature. She transformed him back human, with her प्यार for him.
They married and a साल later they had two wonderful twin girls.
Little Rose and Lillian were as different as night and day, yet so much like their
parents. Rose had straight brown hair that was long and shined in any light, she
received her fathers beautiful blue eyes and her mothers pale skin. Lillian had
wavy golden hair and big brown eyes like her mothers, but her palet was slightly
darker then Rose's और of her fathers color.
The two little girls were both adventurous and curious and postively loved books.
but that was aboutall they shared. Rose could have a temper, but she would apologize immediatly
after lashing out while Lillian was और softspoken and shy.
They were both 5 now and had asked their Papa, the king of france, and the
former beast to read them a story while the snow fell in gentle patterns outside.
I had been making the चाय for the क्रिस्मस Eve ball that was being held later
tonight when I heard their request and had to come see the master read to his
children. Thats why im hidding behind the door merely looking through the crack,
with a gentle proud smile on my face.
"Darling thats the end, after that it didnt matter what happened they were
happy and nothing could ever change that," Their Father told them smiling
at the little "o"s there mouths formed at the explanation.
"Oh so that means they went back to the गढ़, महल and had a beautiful wedding!"
Little Lillian stared off into the fireplace dreamily as she ran a finger through her
gentle golden curls.
"No it means that they rode off into the sunset right Papa?!" Rose squeled with
excitement and jumped up from her sitting position and onto her fathers lap,
Lillian soon followed. The King let out a soft chuckle as he held his girls close.
"It can end however आप want it to end my princesses" Adam told them gently
running his fingers through Rose's hair so much like her mother's.
I could see Belle on the other side of the room watching them from a couch
द्वारा the window, the beaming smile on her face showed how much she loved each
of them.
"Ohhh I wanna be in a fairytale!" Rose suddenty exclaimed shooting up from her Papa's
lap and jumping up and down squeling excitedly. "Come on Lilly! Lets go!" She grabbed
hold of Lilly's small hand and they ran towards the door.
I quickly moved out of the way to behind a pillar beside the library, both of them
came shooting out talking excitedly about princesses and princes and ड्रॅगन्स and
happily ever after.
"You can come out now" I could hear the King call from inside the library, I should have
known he had seen me here the whole time. I made my way in with the चाय tray
in my hand.
His back was turned to me, facing the आग but I could see the content smile on his
face.
"That was a lovely story master" I smiled as he turned towards me proudly
beaming.
"It was, wasnt it?" He asked the rhetorical सवाल and I just nodded setting the
चाय tray down on the small table. I was about to leave when called me back.
"Mrs.Potts?" He asked me his eyes going slightly downcast and his eyesbrows
scrunching together. Belle looked worriedly at him from the सोफ़ा, सोफे but listened
carefully to what her husband was about to ask me.
"Yes Sire" I replied curiously wondering what could change his mood so quickly
when he had been so happy moments before.
"Can आप believe how long its been?" I then understood, so many years before
on this very night had been the transformation, a life changing one.
"Yes I can" I told him a small smile forming on my face as I watched his expression
turn curious, "Quite a transformation it was" and with that I walked from the room
leaving the master with his wife and a smile on his face.
Yes, Quite a transformation it was.

The carefree beauty
I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I've become quite tired of everyone bashing the earlier princesses and saying they're bad role मॉडेल for girls. Personally, I think parents shouldn't be relying on fictional, animated characters to be the role models... but that's a whole different issue altogether. In this लेख I want to address the common complaints towards the princesses: waiting around for/needing a man, not being independent, etc...

I used to think चमेली wasn't all that pretty. But when I watched her film I realized she's much prettier in motion than she is in still clips. Even so, though, I never found her all that attractive, even as a kid. She has a big nose and her eyes look freakishly large in a lot of scenes. When they get her right, she's pretty, but that's only in about 2 scenes. I think she looks like an alien most of the time.
