Damon walked through the aisles of the hospital when he bumped into someone.
“Aaah, hot coffee” Bonnie groaned. She had two paper cups of coffee in her hand, only now there was not much left of it.
“What are आप doing here?”
“I wanted to see how Elena’s doing. Caroline कहा she wasn’t feeling very well and then Jeremy told me आप brought her here” Bonnie explained a little out of breath. “I thought she might like some coffee, but actually I’m not sure she’s allowed to drink it. Well, I guess it doesn’t really matter anymore”
“No, I mean, what are आप doing here?” Damon repeated his सवाल sharply. When he saw Bonnie’s confused expression, he continued. “You’re the reason Elena’s here in the first place”
“What?”
“If आप hadn’t come up with that ridiculous crap of चाय curing cancer, she’d be okay right now” Damon snapped.
“I didn’t force her to drink it. She had a choice and she chose to trust me” Bonnie replied in defense.
“And आप failed her again” Damon pointed out.
Bonnie closed her eyes and prayed for patience. “Damon” she कहा when she opened them up again. “I swear I only had good intentions. I’ve learned my lesson. आप think I was on a vacation? I went to a shrink to get over my problems with you. I was doing fine with Caroline, Elena didn’t seem to be so angry anymore, Jeremy talks to me again. Even आप cared enough to tell me to be careful. Why would I want to risk any of that?”
Damon thought about and realized she had a point.
“Fine, then” he gave in reluctantly. He told her where she could find his girlfriend. “I’ll get some और coffee”

“You’re here.” she breathed, slipping her hands around his neck and leaning in to press her cheek against the coolness of his jacket.
“Not exactly dressed for occasion.” he murmured.
“That’s alright. I can’t imagine the 20s being your time period. I..” she whispered, face flushing with rose. “I like आप better like this.”
“You do?” he cocked an eyebrow, smirking his famous - and her प्रिय - Damon smirk.
She stayed very silent, simply enjoying the feel of his arms around her as they swayed to संगीत that was rather slow. All night they had played संगीत that certainly fit the 1920s jazz decade. What strange coincidence that they should play a slower song the moment Damon showed up. She pulled back to glance into his eyes. “I’m glad you’re here. I was waiting for you.”
