I would feel like a traitor for लेखन so much to increase our hopes if the story won’t end with Delena as endgame, but everything leads there and I just can’t see it working out in another way; and I am glad that I can make so many of आप happy with what I write. I only hope that a final decision is not avoided in intending not to upset any fanbase, because most of us wouldn’t be satisfied द्वारा such a cowardly solution. I believe Elena that she does प्यार Stefan, but I don’t understand it, and most importantly, I don’t FEEL anything with them. I can’t say much about their relationship so that it is possible that I miss something there, but most of the प्रशंसकों see the story like I do, so that there can’t be anything important. I understand why Elena sticks to Stefan out of guilt and fear, while she still doesn’t know everything that the audience does, but Stelena got together so quickly that I didn’t get why they did at all – although I see that Elena losing her parents influenced her actions. But every reason that Elena gives for getting together with Stefan and for staying with him (safeness, happiness, feeling alive, meeting first, him not dying, …) is wrong या at least और fitting for her with Damon, and the immature opinion of Elena’s फ्रेंड्स as well as of the Stelena प्रशंसकों doesn’t provide any real reasons. Anyway, even if I miss something because I don’t understand SE, only looking at DE makes it impossible to end the story without Delena.



There is for example the thing about Damon and Elena being twin flames. "The whole idea of Damon and Elena being twin flames started in the books, but in a very subtle way it was inserted on the दिखाना too." [fan quote]
To sum up shortly the story about twin flames: The souls in one group are soulmates, and when one soul splits into two halfs, it creates the twins. The two persons that share the same soul meet in their first and last incarnation on earth; it is possible that they also meet in between but that isn’t necessary. Twin flames have a very strong bond and a deep understanding, and there are many parallels in their lives even before they meet again. Their other soulmates prepare the twins for their last and final reunion, while the two persons with the matching soul-halfs become और and और alike throughout their different lives. When the twin flames meet before they are almost identical and ready for each other, their strong connection can be too powerful and intense for them to भालू so that they block it off, but it is always hard for them to be apart and they can never let go of each other. And in the end, when the twin flames finish the journey that prepared them for each other and they are finally ready, they get together at last, ALWAYS, and that is the deepest and most wonderful and perfect experience in life.
Damon and Elena have a strong bond and deep understanding, there are many parallels in their lives and they become और and और alike – and although there is nothing कहा about "twin flames" directly like in the पुस्तकें [The Return: Shadow Souls, 34], it is exactly what is created for Delena on the दिखाना (becoming और and और alike, so MANY parallels, etc.). That would destroy the temporary SE end in the former life and upset the Stelena fans, while we Delena प्रशंसकों want an end with DE like they are now. And Damon and Elena are already so much alike that the end of their journey when they will be almost identical is already within close reach anyway.

I also don’t think that the story will always stay the same – with that boring and "cheesy" Stelena relationship, while there is so much passion, tension and आग in the exciting and loved Delena relationship. About the importance of passion: "It hurts sometimes और than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we’d know some kind of peace, but we would be hollow: empty rooms, shuttered and dank. Without passion, we’d be truely dead." [B-TVS II,17] So, Elena can shortly feel peaceful in her "eventless" relationship with Stefan, but she is hollow and dead like that – like she feels completely hollow and empty after Damon’s death in the पुस्तकें [The Return: Midnight, 40]. Damon causes Elena to feel all of her emotions in their extremes (and their mutual प्यार is one of the feelings that goes to its extremes), he is her mature प्यार with passion, and they have आग in everything between them; and all of that is painful, but it is real and right. Very few say that there is only lust between Damon and Elena, but she admits to Matt in the दिखाना that she is in प्यार with both of the brothers, even the show-runners say that she also loves Damon, and Elena admits her प्यार for Damon in the books, although it took them some time to realize that that deep mutual प्यार lies behind their enormous physical attraction; and everybody inside as well as outside of the story realizes sooner या later that Elena really loves Damon. So, Delena have passion AND love, while there is never any आग between Stelena. And nobody can live without passion; it can be repressed when one is still young and fears such powerful emotions because they have never been experienced before, but repressing makes feelings even stronger and your true emotions will come out sooner या later, because nobody can escape passion.

There is a big emphasis in the story on Damon’s pain and suffering, the main focus lies on the relationship between Damon and Elena (from what is shown as well as from the fans’ side), and Ian Somerhalder receives the highest payment of all the actors, he is most loved and most awarded – like Damon and of course Delena are द्वारा far most loved. Damon and Elena are THE couple of the "Vampire Diaries"-story, and they are the ones that everybody waits for to kiss, confess their प्यार to each other, finally get together etc., what usually takes its time before happening to increase the desire and excitement. There is still so much left for Delena, for example Elena confessing her प्यार for Damon, and Elena still has to find out about so many things, what will cause her to fall even और for Damon and finally realize that she wants to be with him, while there is nothing that can be awaited in the Stelena relationship, except for SE to realize that their relationship can’t last for long. The story deals with how Damon and Elena tear down each other’s walls and change each other, while it is कहा over and over that प्यार changes people. There can’t be anybody else for them to end up with ("I will always choose you."), and the story is mostly about the way to DE getting together in the end. It would make no sense to not let their relationship work out after everything that they had to go through, but Elena anyway wouldn’t be able to get back into her comfort zone with Stefan, once that she will open up completely to the true प्यार that she shares with Damon.

Delena have to be loved also behind the camera considering what is created for them on screen. The big majority of the प्रशंसकों is caused to ship Delena, and that never changes; और and और प्रशंसकों शामिल होइए our fanbase – and just imagine how many of the former SE supporters are still counted in long-term countings that started at the beginning, before SO MANY Stelena shippers became Delena shippers with time, and never the other way around, so that our majority is now even much bigger than those numbers give away. There are so many hints that lead to Damon and Elena ending up together, and everything seems to make sense in the story, so that all leads to Delena as endgame. There is even lots of predetermination and foreshadowing that is put into the story regularly. The words that are used underline that DE are meant to be together, the विवरण of what Elena really wants is EXACTLY what she has with Damon, and all of the parallels for Damon and Elena make everything even stronger for Delena and clearer for us fans.

Damon furthermore causes Elena to grow up and to open up, but she still needs time to realize what she really has in him and to find out about several important things that we viewers already know about. But with taking its time and everything in their relationship being created carefully and in detail, the perfect foundation for a lasting प्यार is laid out for Delena; their प्यार is mature and real. I still think that प्यार has to be stronger when things are और complicated and there are several obstacles to overcome, but I am no drama क्वीन that needs complications to make a relationship और exciting.
I also think that free will is important, but one has to protect at the same time what he या she loves. Damon likes that Elena has a strong personality, he won’t push her to choose him, and he follows her plans as long as she doesn’t get into danger. He for example helps her at the bonfire night, although he knows that her plan won’t work out, but he puts himself in danger (Rebekah really stabs him) without believing in a success, as long as there is no threat for Elena. But Damon does everything to protect Elena – even against her will – and accepts her hating him for it, but आप really shouldn’t be ABLE to put your loved ones in danger and even let them die only to let them have their will. [And Damon knows how it is to be saved against one's will, because he often doesn't want others to put themselves in danger to rescue him, but mostly because he didn't want to become a vampire in the TV show. Damon chose to die instead, but his brother forced him to complete the transition, because Stefan didn't want to lose his older brother. So, Stefan also went against Damon's will – and Damon is happy to be a vampire nowadays –, but Stefan didn't save Elena against her will, what is another sign for Stefan needing Damon और than Elena, while Damon loves Elena most, but of course still does everything to protect his little brother.] So, Damon is only honest with himself and realistic enough to know that he is not willing and not even able to sacrifice Elena for anything, what is another sign for the honesty and maturity of the Delena relationship.
And it seems on the other hand that Elena and Stefan stay in their relationship in a kind of bubble, hidden from the reality. They ignore the truth and will with time fail to keep what they pretend to have because it is created द्वारा their immaturity. Damon and Elena are honest, true and real together, they have all of the good and the bad sides of प्यार and their relationship is created द्वारा their maturity. Delena have really EVERYTHING together, they have all aspects of प्यार – the good as well as the bad ones –, and that is the mature love. I already कहा in another लेख that the decision for Elena is between only प्यार (Stefan) and love, passion and so many other things at the same time (Damon). "Love isn’t brains, children. It’s blood. Blood screamin’ inside आप to work its will." [B-TVS III,8] And Elena can’t keep on repressing her true प्यार for Damon for much longer.
I don’t see how Stelena’s relationship could work out in the long run when it is confronted with reality. Stefan represses his bad sides as well as his self-hate and guilt, what makes all of those even और powerful, Elena represses her true feelings for Damon, what causes those emotions to become even stronger and deeper, and SE both are constantly ignoring and suppressing the truth and pretending to have what they want and not how things are in reality. "Elena’s problem is that she wants Damon, and wants to want Stefan." [fan quote] (Damon: "You’re the liar, Elena. And you’re lying to me, and you’re lying to Stefan, and most of all you’re lying to yourself.") Elena feels comfortable with Stefan, it is what she is used to, but she can only achieve true happiness with Damon, and Elena fights falling और and और for Damon, because she is afraid of the powerful and unfamiliar emotions, but that fighting is what mainly makes the way to the ultimate happiness painful, because Elena will continue being drawn to Damon no matter what until she will finally reach her destiny (Damon). Stelena only think that they are how they want each other to be (only some of those assumptions are fitting for Elena after the loss of her parents – but that is not her true self), but they ignore the truth and fight down what is inside of them, and that can never survive in reality.

The clear and outright majority of the प्रशंसकों are Delena shippers, but we have nothing solid to keep so far; and it would make no sense to give us such an epic and legendary build up without the end that it leads to. When I saw the motel make out for the first time, my first thought was that I would like that at the end of the whole story. But although that was a good option as a scene for the final DE union, the story was nowhere near being at an end, so that it was a fantastic opportunity to get happily लॉस्ट in the moment, but it can’t be taken as a real end (or pretended to be the end for those who would like to have a point to stop as if nothing else happened afterwards). The show-runners should want to sell even और of their TV show, and – like I repeat again and again and what is also well-documented throughout the internet – we DE प्रशंसकों have the overwhelming majority. The ones who are responsible for the दिखाना usually talk like the fanbases are equal, but looking at awards, votings, polls, numbers of clicks and so on, that is nowhere near the truth. But when it is कहा that one group hopes for Elena to choose Damon while the other hopes for her to choose Stefan, nothing is mentioned about the size of the fanbases. And when it is said, that for every प्रशंसक complaining that Damon and Elena are still not together, another प्रशंसक compliments what is done to the story, nothing is mentioned about who likes the story and what is liked about it; lots of us Delena प्रशंसकों enjoy the journey of Damon and Elena and the build up of their प्यार story. So, it is never कहा directly that the two opposite fanbases are thought to be equally big, but द्वारा putting the words like that, our fears are made stronger to increase our desires and to keep the story open. [KW कहा several times that he feels with the Delena प्रशंसकों and is sad when he hears about our suffering (and he would get the least number of sad and suffering reactions with a DE endgame), and JP mentioned that she always wants the team that lies behind to win when watching sports (and Damon was always सेकंड choice and never won even one stage of the "race"); and although they use their words in a way to make it sound neutral, it still sounds promising for a Delena endgame.] The producers can’t be that ignorant not to know that close to everybody is on our side. आप can notice that they know that द्वारा looking at advertising, previews, official appearances etc., although they of course have to mostly use all of the three main characters to keep the story exciting, but it can still be seen that most of the प्रशंसकों are expected to be DE प्रशंसकों – what they really are.
And just a thought: Stefan came back to Elena at the end of season three before she had to make a decision, so that she had the chance to experience the familiarity of her comfort zone again, while Damon was already gone for a while, so that Elena didn’t feel their closeness, intimacy etc. directly for quiet some time. I still think that Elena mainly has to find out everything that we viewers already know about and to realize with that that Damon really is her destiny, but it could also help when the circumstances stop creating only obstacles for Delena (like in this case the toss of the coin – because when one likes या even loves two things, one usually has clearer in mind what one just experienced). And did आप already notice that many SE things become DE things with time (for example the handing over of the necklace), while the DE things always stay DE things (for example the road trips)? And Damon is shown carrying Elena, watching her while she is asleep या unconscious, reacting to her arriving somewhere and so on, and both are shown holding each other’s faces etc. SO OFTEN, that it easily overwhelms the few times that Stelena या other couples have something like those moments – and even then, Delena have the best scenes with such a great atmosphere that nobody else even closely has. We already have that amazing and unforgettable journey of Damon and Elena, but we still desperately need the Delena endgame for the ultimate perfection.

Another point is that it is not possible for Damon and Elena to be without the other, they can only find true happiness together. When Damon had sex with Rebekah, Elena discovered her jealousy; and the motel make out scene happened only a couple of episodes after that. Damon broke the neck of Elena’s LITTLE BROTHER, and she forgave him with time and even understood right away, that he didn’t want to feel, while she was still mad at him. Jeremy didn’t die, but I still really can’t think of anything that could destroy Delena ("We always survive."), especially because Damon lessened lashing out and even already stopped doing it too violently, and he always puts Elena first and is extremely unselfish when it comes to her.
I don’t think that the producers would be so sadistic to let Damon suffer eternally – while even putting our attention on it – या to let him suffer for very long before letting him die. Damon would never find peace in death, not even in giving his life to save the world; Sage says in the पुस्तकें that whoever thinks, that Damon will be at peace after sacrificing his life, has never met him [The Return: Midnight, 42]. Damon deserves and needs to be with Elena in the end to be truely happy, Damon acts SO unselfish especially towards Elena, but also for his brother and others, and Delena are soul’s eternal mates and twin flames after all. I don’t see Damon living anywhere peacefully द्वारा himself. Elena redeems Damon, he started अभिनय on his good sides because of her, and she is the only one who loves Damon for whom he really is, what I – and others – already mentioned before. And Damon already keeps doing good deeds without her around: While he still has to deal with lashing out and doing bad things like killing Mason and breaking Alaric’s neck as "things that he says that he shouldn’t do" in the early third season, he refers to saving Bonnie’s life द्वारा giving her blood and giving Alaric the chance to die like he chooses to as "things that he says that he shouldn’t do" at the end of season three, because good deeds often lead to problems, but Damon still continues doing good things. But I doubt that he will be the best version of himself for good without Elena in his life who brings out his goodness and humanity, like Elena also probably wouldn’t stay alive – या at least undead – for long without Damon around to save and protect her.
Stefan, on the other hand, has had a relationship with Elena for some time now, and he still isn’t happy; he feels guilty and hates himself. So, Elena is not his way to peace and happiness, they got together so quickly anyway, that they can विभाजित करें, विभक्त करें up again just as quickly; but I see several other ways for him. I hope though that he will believe Katherine sooner या later that she didn’t make him प्यार her and that he realizes that he really loves her, so that he can stop denying that and end up with her. But anyway, प्यार is not Stefan’s way to get happy, although this is another example of increasing feelings द्वारा denying and suppressing them (Damon declares in the TV दिखाना that it was real for him with Katherine, while Katherine says that she loved both brothers [although Stefan is her favourite]; so, Damon and Katherine dealt with their past feelings, so that they still try to protect each other if possible, while Katherine was a few times willing to sacrifice Damon to सुरक्षित Stefan, and Damon doesn’t give in to Katherine anymore – even after setbacks with Elena; Damon got totally over Katherine द्वारा accepting the past, and he knows now that he only wants Elena and that he for example would never have gone back to सुरक्षित Katherine द्वारा risking his own life in confronting Klaus, like he did for Elena [and in the books, there is not even a real प्यार story for Damon and Katherine at all – Stefan is Katherine’s favourite, while Damon only goes after her to annoy and upset his brother and because Katherine is the only one who really likes Damon after his mother’s death]). Stefan looks for redemption, not for love; he needs to accept himself, not to be accepted द्वारा others. There were already some opportunities for him to get there, and there are still और to come. Unlike Damon, Stefan can see giving his life to save others as a kind of redemption and find peace in death with such a sacrifice, although I hope that he will receive his happiness without losing his life. Stefan would also feel better about himself as a human being, so that it would make him happier if there was a way to turn him back into one.
So, Damon can only be happy with Elena, like she can only TRUELY be happy with him, while Stefan needs another way to live with himself to find peace and happiness; and Damon teaching his brother to control his blood thirst is already the first step there.



In many stories that go on for some time, there are different persons as a possible choice for a partner and the characters have relationships in different combinations while there is never any talk about true प्यार and destiny. Then, there are also the stories in which it is made clear from the start that two persons are meant to be together, although it sometimes takes years for them to finally get together. In some of those stories, one of those characters – very seldom both – is involved with somebody mean या evil या something like that at the beginning या even throughout almost the whole story until the end, but it is still clear that the matching characters belong together and will finally end up together. There can also be several "good" persons as options, but then, there is never anything special about any of those.
I have never come across anything like "The Vampire Diaries" before, where Damon and Elena are soul’s eternal mates and twin flames and are DESTINED to be together – what almost everybody sees that way –, while everything leads to a Delena endgame (predetermination, foreshadowing, words and phrases, parallels, song texts, other hints, …), but at the same time, Stefan is one of their soulmates, Elena’s as well as Damon’s, so that he is very important and close to them. Stefan is mostly also liked, what is not usual in triangles, but although the story is kept open द्वारा willingly avoiding mentioning in public the extent of our majority as well as the fact that the story clearly leads to Delena as endgame and द्वारा not giving us anything solid, Damon and Elena, the soul’s eternal mates and twin flames, can be recognized as the true प्यार story of the "Vampire Diaries", and it is clear that they are meant to be endgame – if one takes a closer look at everything. I often fall for couples, but that is normally about my personal preferences (or the only way in the "clear" stories); but it would be a real INJUSTICE if Damon and Elena won’t end up together after all of the pain and suffering and everything else that they and we had to go through and with all of the hints and the leading to Delena being endgame, while Damon deserves to be rewarded for his enormous unselfishness and Damon and Elena can never achieve happiness without each other.
And the producers can’t be so cruel to let Damon and us DE प्रशंसकों suffer so much without a reason. They should have enough financial sense to satisfy the Delena प्रशंसकों to get the biggest profits. I don’t think that they will continue misleading us only for their ratings, because they couldn’t create for Damon and Elena something like what they did not loving them (especially because there is nothing even close to the DE प्यार story for anybody else). I don’t see how the story could make any sense without ending with Delena as endgame, and there was a sense in everything so far.
I am aware of myself not being neutral in this, but द्वारा far most agree with me, so that I can’t be that wrong, and nothing else makes sense. I can’t get rid of the fear, and it is very painful, but the hope is strongest inside of me so that I can enjoy the wonderful and special journey in patience. Because of its huge success, the story will still go on for a while; but Damon and Elena can’t get together too soon, and pain is a part of their beautiful and unique प्यार story, so that we have to stay patient and help each other through the setbacks.
Whenever I come across something about love, it always reminds me of Damon and Elena and their unforgettable and epic प्यार story, because they have EVERYTHING together, so that something of it can be found in every love, no matter how the circumstances are. So, how else can the story end than with Delena as endgame, and what else could be true प्यार than what Damon and Elena have? "If D/E are not true love, then I have no idea what is." [fan quote] True प्यार is always described like exactly what is between Delena; Damon and Elena really have true love.
