HOHOHOHO. THERE IS NO PIE. >D
Nah, but instead, I have a really crappy short story. Basically we're studying genres in English, and we're meant to give a 3-minute oral (that's what she said) speech in the form of a short story that reflects the genre that we were assigned to study. I got Detective/Mystery, and I pretty much suck at लेखन anything but... comedy लोल so I need to know if this is good या not. Ignore the names XD I'm gonna change them later लोल coz there are a few SPN and बोन्स fangirls in my class.
Dropping my camera gently to let it hang loose from my neck, I stalked over to my boss, Brennan, excitement bubbling in the pit of my stomach. I live for solving murders. 10 years of fantasizing and 5 years of training have earned me my dream job; working for criminology to help crack murder cases.
Right now, Brennan was questioning the guy who found the body, Jared Padalecki. He was Eli Stone’s (the victim) friend and colleague. “Is there anyone आप know that wanted to harm your friend?” Brennan asked in a low voice. Padalecki didn’t even hesitate to say, “Sam Riley. It all goes back to Sam.”
“Who?” I interjected. Brennan glared at me for a moment before motioning to the witness to continue. “He’s Angie’s ex. Eli’s fiancée’s ex. Had a thing against Eli ever since he चुरा लिया Angie away from him. It’s only just a matter of time.”
Brennan made a ‘hmmm’ noise. At this moment, her partner Booth came back from interviewing the rest of the neighbours. He said, “All of them have only one suspect in mind. Man called Sa-”
“Sam Riley, I know,” she कहा curtly. “Well? We gonna bring him in for questioning?”
“Just sent a cop car out,” Booth replied.
They bring Riley into the interrogation room three hours later, to hear his story. No alibi. Huge motive. Brennan shooed me away, asking me to go back to the crime scene for any follow-up evidence.
When I reached there, the body was still not moved! I asked the M.E. what was up. He कहा there were still body fragments scattered on the lawn, needing to be collected. I went to the main corpse, which looked sickly and disturbing, and गलाना, पिघलता worse. I shuddered. This was the part of crime I could do without.
Suddenly, Padalecki appeared again. I stared at him, unsure of why he would be back. The answer came to me immediately, as he doused the body in gasoline, flicked a lit match on it, and ran away as the body was promptly engulfed in flames. I yelled out, rushing to the body, not thinking. Foolishly beating at the corpse with my bare hands.
An M.E. arrived quickly with water, and I was drenched along with the body. When Brennan arrived at the scene, she took one look at the burns on my hands, and demanded to know what happened.
What did happen? Was Riley still the main suspect? Why did Padalecki burn the body? Did he murder Eli? या was Riley? या maybe something bigger, और sinister than both of them?
