HumbleQueen They'll be fine. We have lots of info, and the road is bumpy for the two early on but it comes out fine, like Stacey just said. Hold tight, we'll some tears for our darlings, there's been so much. I'm not sure we'll get an enchantment reveal before the season is over, but the important thing-forgiveness--will prevail!

ArwenRule totally agree HQ & Epaws our arwen will be fine in the end and that's what matters!!!!

Bonne-Bell I don't think I'm gonna like this episode. Everything just sounds so sad and I'll be really upset if the enchantment is not revealed. Arthur may forgive her but will Gwen be able to forgive or trust herself again? Dammit, I don't wanna cry on Christmas eve but it looks like that's what I'll be doing after this episode.

leona21 Well Eastenders, a British Soap Opera on tv, has done very well with sad stories over the christmas with the occasional wedding to off balance the angst. So maybe it might work, who knows. As much as I don't like the fact Arthur hasn't forgiven her straight away, it will be interesting to see how they interact being out of sorts with each other (well Arthur really)I know we had the confrontation scene in the hall but this will be different I think. I do find it hard to watch him being cold towards her though but keep remembering we the audience know the truth and they don't.

RosalynCabenson I know, Nanna, they will be together and there will be the coronation. But I still fear it won't be enough or that the wedding isn't shown or as you said, just how they do it. it all sounds so sad and even though I love all the angst I want them to be happy at least and I want to see it on screen. I guess I won't be satisfied with one or two little arwen scene not for the finale and after what we've been through with them.

Bonne-Bell Okay, after thinking this over, I've decided that I can deal with the enchantment not being revealed in this episode if the writers give it the proper treatment in series 5. If they use it as a way to develop Gwen's character, her marriage with Arthur and her role as Queen in series 5 then I can deal with it as long as it is revealed before the show completely comes to an end. If that does not happen and they just drop the whole thing without ever addressing it, then I will proceed to send hate letters to the writers/producers. Okay, I feel better now, sort of.

lailastar He promised her that when he was king things would be different.Now they have have placed so many obstacles in their way,we cant even have a happy wedding and loving wedding night without this excess baggage hanging over their heads. I feel so sad,especially after the last episode,why are they doing this to this couple,why cant they give them a happy guilt free wedding. Ep 3.13 left us hopeful and then we returned in Sept to Gwen still making beds and they threw Lancelot in at what should have been their happiest moment with catastrophic results. I never felt so sad for a couple as L felt for Arthur and Gwen. The writers are hell bent on humiliating Arthur at every turn, they have taken everything from him. He has been betrayed by his father, sister, Merlin has a secret, Aggravaine, now Gwen,I have never felt so sorry for a television character as Arthur, they make him look pitiful, unlike the strong king of legend.

nessarthur i am also pretty miffed the enchantment won't be revealed and we get no wedding - i never thought i'd be disappointed with arwen this season, but i kinda am, i don't want to be as i had such high hopes, i know we've had some lovely scenes (all too short if you ask me) and far to much angst for my taste. after the previous 3 seasons being built around gwen being a servant therefore that being the biggest obstacle with her and arthur being unable to marry, then everything else that has happened with the enchantment, we still don't get to see any wedding scene. makes me sad, little bit frustrated with the writing - i mean i get what people saying about arthur loving gwen no matter and then finally forgiving her, but for her to never know that she was enchanted, gwen missing out on being so rightly vindicated is what gets to me the most. don't get me wrong i'm thrilled we'll get to see gwen crowned, but i feel hollow inside.

Bonne-Bell I feel the same way, lailaster. Arwen fans have waited for what three/four years for them to get married and we get cheated out of a happy wedding and possibly marriage if some of these writers have their way. It's really hard to watch characters go through so much shit through no fault of their own and then still not get a happy ending. I think some of us feel so gutted by this because we've been waiting for Arwen to get married for years and when it finally happens, it seems like it's not going to end in a happy union. It's even possible that we might not see the wedding, just the coronation. Now they gave the frigging troll a wedding and a coronation but they might not even do that for Arwen? What the hell? Okay, I need to stop and go back to my happy place.

hapybeinginsane If the enchantment isn't revealed this episode I might actually scream. I mean, it's had such an impact on both of them - for Arthur, because now he thinks everyone he loves has betrayed him, and for Gwen because she doesn't trust herself anymore. After all they've been through this season, I think they deserve a happy, guilt free ending with a wedding that we have been waiting 3 long years for. I know they're endgame and all, but I just want them to be able to trust each other again so they can start Season 5 on strong foundations. Sorry, rant over!

Mirandel "3. Arthur may not have forgiven Guinevere quite yet..." "10. Please, Arthur, I can't forgive myself." Nothing makes really sense. I thought Arthur had already proven that he's forgiven her. But as he clearly stated in 4x09, he cannot trust her. And I don't see Gwen marrying a King who doesn't trust her while she can't even forgive and trust herself. Meaning, that the enchantment must be revealed. If not, I'll be really mad. They could possibly still love each other, but marriage after such a betrayal? Being in a marriage without any trust for one another? If this is where the show is going, I don't know what to do.
