Humphrey's POV

"Goodbye Kate" I hugged her and stepped back. Garth was standing beside me now. "You both look like twins in your uniforms" Kate giggled. I stood द्वारा Stinky, Runt and Claudette, individually they hugged me and कहा their goodbyes. "Well, we should be going!" Garth said. We started walking towards the gate, I turned around and shouted "See आप on the other side!" to Kate. Me and Garth slowly walked towards the gate where our plane was waiting. The plane we were flying was a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 (Seen above). Both me and Garth had racked up over 150 hours each flying this plane. We walked along the Jetty and into the plane. Using his key, Garth opened the cockpit door. We both sat down. "Time To go through the Pre-Flight checklist" Garth exclaimed. I personally hate this part of flying, it really bores me, but it has to be done. "Ignition On" कहा Garth "Uh... Check!" I replied. "Fuel Injection pumps active" "Check" I went on like this for about another 10 minutes, but द्वारा time we had finished it, everybody had boarded and we were ready to taxi.

We both put on our headset. "Williams Lake Tower, This is Air Canada Flight QVB5671, We are requesting taxi to मार्ग, रनवे 24 Left" I कहा into the microphone of the headset. "Roger that Air Canada QVB5671, Taxi to मार्ग, रनवे 24 Left, Hold short of मार्ग, रनवे 24 Right." कहा the ATC. "Roger" I replied. "I can't wait to get to Anchorage!" Garth कहा excitedly. "Can't wait to spend some time with Lilly!" He continued "Ahh boy! Gettin' it on I see!" I Punched him in the arm as I कहा this. "Hahaha, Fuck you!" Garth replied. We arrived at the मार्ग, रनवे and we prepared for takeoff. " Williams Lake Tower, Requesting Takeoff from मार्ग, रनवे 24 Left." Garth कहा into the microphone. "Roger that, Take off speed 120 Knots, Continue to 10,000 feet and turn to a heading off 312 degrees" "Roger that, Have a good दिन Williams Lake Tower" Garth replied to the ATC. We both put our hands on the throttle and pushed it forwards. "Pull back the yoke....now" I said. We both pulled back the yoke and the nose lifted, we were in the air! "Gear up" I कहा to Garth. He pushed the gear lever up and the gears rose. "Gear up!" He replied.

"Wanna coffee?" asked Garth. "Sure" I answered. Garth got up and walked out the cockpit door. "Lilly!" Garth tried to say this as quite as he could, but I guess nearly everybody heard this. Lilly walked up the isle to Garth "Hey" she said. "How is Kate and the kids?" Garth questioned "I have a better question" I yelled "What happened to getting my coffee!?". They both laughed. "I'll get it!" Lilly कहा happily. They both walked into the cockpit, Lilly handed me my coffee. "So how does it feel to be a husband Garth?" I asked. "Well आप should know! Your married to Kate!!" He replied. We all laughed. Garth looked at Lilly and कहा "I प्यार you!". "I प्यार आप too!" She replied. They kissed. "Aw Fuck! I didn't need to see that!" I said. "Deal with it!" Garth replied. Lilly blushed. " Can I stay here for a while?" Asked Lilly "Sure!" Me and Garth replied.

Everything seemed normal, we had just left land and we were now over the Gulf of Alaska, we were nearly half way through our journey. It was dark, very dark. Everything was calm...
