Snow sprinkled down outside the fuel station and the back door creaked open slightly. Humphrey was the first one out, followed closely द्वारा his wife Kate and their pups. The youngest pup, Runt was still half asleep and was sprawled over Kate's muscular back. Stinky and Claudette trotted between Kate's legs and walked alongside their father closely, one pup on each side of him. Kate smiled softly and walked a little further ahead of Humphrey, continuing to maintain her status as lead Alpha though they were nowhere near their own territory.

As the family of भेड़िया left the parking lot and started walking down the फ्रोज़न road having no idea how to get home, they saw a large red pick-up coming up the road. Humphrey moved his head low and nudged both Claudette and Stinky to pick up a little speed. The two elder pups obliged and started going at a mild fast-walk as the pick-up truck drove past them and into the parking lot where they had just left.
Max parked his truck in front of his store and for a long moment, he looked at his rear-view mirror and watched the भेड़िया family continue to walk their path down the road. A smile appeared on his face and even though he knew the भेड़िया didn't see him, he gave a nod towards the mirror reflection, wishing them luck on whereever they would go.

"Humphrey... Last time we got घर from here, we took a train. We can't count on the same thing happening again and we have no idea where Marcel and Paddy are. We are going to have to think fresh on this journey." Kate कहा to Humphrey as they walked.
Humphrey replied, "I know, Kate. I know. Plus, we gotta watch out for the rogues. If any of them managed to survive the fight, they'll be hunting for vengeance. Primarily the one who calls himself King."
Kate nodded. She was worried... worried about if anything had happened to her family. Her father, her sister, Garth and Tony. Yes, the bears had allied with them for that time but she also knew that at times, bears were unpredictable. And they were strong. Kate still had the scar on her stomach to prove it, a permanent but minor injury caused during her and Humphrey's confrontation back on the snowy mountains.
Her दिल remained strong though and was filled with hope. Gently nudging Claudette's rear with her nose, the family walked on to lands unknown, hoping to find their beloved home.

King limped through the forest. He was groaning in frustration and fury, humiliated at his pack's हाल का defeat. His body was bruised and bleeding from being trampled and his front right paw was twisted in an unnatural angle. Eventually, he लॉस्ट his balance and fell into the snow.
King then muttered in soft anger to himself, "I... I will get vengeance. Winston and that कुतिया, मतलबी daughter of his have humiliated me for the last time. I will tear that little runt to pieces as well as those other pups. Their corpses will lay before their dens. And I can only hope to stay around long enough to witness Kate's mourning cries." King soon passed out in the snow, his फर bristling through the wind.
A shadow suddenly loomed over him. King opened his eyes partly and saw two large front paws planted in the snow before him. He growled and lifted his head up towards his visitor, snapping, "Get away from me, you..."
King paused hesitantly and his jaws were agape, cool air escaping from his mouth with each rapid breath. "Princess?"
