I very slightly opened my eyes to peek past my fear, watching those bright blue eyes take hold along my neck, then the silk lips press against my flesh.
I was turned back in a time where I was extremely young, and didn't have the silver locks of hair that I have now. No, then I was a black soul, and even now I don't think there is any emotion in me. I was certain, even when I was human या vampire, that I had a heart, but there was no certainty that I had pure emotions, anything that expressed a positive feeling towards another. Only when I realized those green eyes that resembled a cat's, lithe and ferocious but yet gentle, all at once, did I overcome the mirthing shadows in my दिल and defined a brighter side of me, the light. It took me some time, but after I defeated the poison that my three फ्रेंड्स polluted me with, I knew there was no way I was going to be fooled again.
I was out in the forest, late at night, knowing that it would be best to get the firewood now and have it over with than worry about it in the morning. My father was a mystery to me, and I was never sure whether he was going to take the privelege of punishing me या giving me a reward for some accomplishment I was unaware about. That's why, I knew, it was best to do it now. He wouldn't hurt me for doing something earlier than expected. At least, I hoped.
I traveled far, since I knew the best trees were deeper near the clearings of the forest, where the springs of the purest wellwater could be found and where the फूल bloomed all over, in different shades and shapes, दिखा रहा है off to one another. There was a पेड़ that stood in one clearing and was the most handsome of all, a daring mahogany color and was brimming with life that was unknown to many, I was sure of. It almost made me begin to wonder if there was a new pecies of पेड़ plant that was और important than the rest, and that I would be the first to find it. With that thought in mind, it didn't take me long to find that same route and follow it. With owls and wildlife still rousing from the पूर्व दिखा रहा है of the sun, I was unaware of the scents besides of the woods, the ones that were fragmented with not just perfume, but of blood too.
When I got to the clearing, I was shocked at the sight.
The पेड़ was sliced in half, the torso tossed to the ground in a bundle of branches. The wind whipped around the remains, and I almost thought I heard the पेड़ moan before the सूँ ढ, ट्रंक gave off a rotting smell, and my throat stopped working while I covered my mouth, refraining from having my stomach twist in knots. This was nearly as devastating as watching my mother die before my very eyes.
I hadn't realized that my axe, the गाना pride and joy of my work, was now thunked between the soil below my feet. When I bent down to retrieve it, I felt the coolness of the metal beneath my finger tips, amazed at how warm it felt compared to my skin. When I came to pull it up, I gasped at the fact that there was nothing left in my hands. The axe was gone.
I looked up, staring, gaping, फ्रोज़न in time.
"Hey there, little boy." The man was about the age that my older brother Charlie was, an age of closely twenty. His chin was sharply shaven, revealing the smooth pale skin that loomed in pearl-ish armor. I noticed how his lips were covered with a shiny film of clear liquid, remarkably strange and was far from the look of chapstick. His blonde hair was a ghostly white in the moonlight. "I think this is yours." He held up the axe with just the strength of his one finger, and the axe balanced as if a feather.
"Give it back!" I shouted, leaping from my crouch to a full-fleged spring. But when the axe was within sight, it vanished as quickly as before, and I was met with a face-full of mud and pine needles. I shook myself of the dirt, glaring at the body behind me that was vibrating with laughter.
"Oh, what a shame." He shook his finger at me, the axe held tightly in his other hand. "Don't आप know that it's not nice to play games with a vampire?"
A part of my wanted to get that axe back, and no matter the consequence, chop the guy's head off. Part of me wanted to say that he wasn't a vampire, and that was ust as excuse to try to get me to run away like a baby.
And part of me accepted that it was true.
"Candy-boy, I don't have all day." The man said, waggling his finger.
'Candy-boy'? Again, that anger swelled in me to want to एक प्रकार का जहाज़ his ehad to pieces, but my puzzled pride took over. "What do आप mean द्वारा that?"
The man rolled his eyes as if the सवाल was stupid. "Vampires aren't vegetarians, little dude. Your blood is quite appealing to me, if आप don't realize it." He licked his lips, and a layer of the clear drool made a dribble down his chin. He took a step toward me, and as much as I wanted to scream, kick, punch, या just simply run away, it was as if my feet stopped getting connection from my brain. Immobilized, my breath quickened.
"You know, आप should be glad it's just me. If Marcus या Dimitri were here, you'd probably going through the phase already, and believe me, it's worse when आप have three-hundred year-old वैंपायर biting the living daylights out of you." The man said, taking a few steps और closer. I could see an evil scar written along his eyebrow, almost as illuminating as the moon above, which was now being covered द्वारा clouds.
"Don't हटाइए though, otherwise you'll make it worse." He said, and I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping this would be और simpler to deal with than the beatings I recieved in the past.
I very slightly opened my eyes to peek past my fear, watching those bright blue eyes take hold along my neck, then the silk lips press against my flesh. Before I knew it...
...there was a scream.
Crucifying, horrible screams filled the air. The man let out an angry cry, and before I could figure out what happened, he fled away so fast it almost seemed like he flew. Breathing heavily, I made my way back, enjoying the idea that my beating would be nowhere as gruesome as the bite that may have took और of my soul away, the last I had to feel.
At least to say that I was saved now.

A week later, Blair had gotten us all settled in. I had the one spare bedroom, Kirsten and Sage slept on air mattresses in the other spare bedroom, Paige had a bedroom in the basement, and Mom slept on the pullout couch. Blair and her husband were so nice for taking us in, I'd never be able to thank them enough.

Mom still hadn't found a job. This pleased me, despite our पूर्व conversation. I liked it when she was around. She was fun to talk to, and she understood me sometimes. Even if she didn't, she listened to me.

She seemed nicer too, and और caring.

Back at home, when she was actually...

I'm kinda new to writing(well sorta. I'm लेखन a book in the Teen Titans club) So I decided to see if I could write a good story. So here's a prologue and please tell me what आप think of this so I can see if I should start लेखन the story या not.

Four Hundred years ago, a girl named Akari Kokawa lived in a small village in Japan. She lived alone with her Father, . She never knew her mother for she was killed द्वारा her husband's brother. Akari's father was a cruel man. He beat his child and would often sell her body to men for money. She had enough of his torture and stabbed him to death...

Introduction

Everybody has a friend. Someone to talk to, to share your secrets with. Someone in this cold cruel world that आप could trust. A friend doesn't exactly have to be a person. It could be a pet, a journal-sometimes a banana-or even a rock. A friend doesn't have to be real, either. A character from a story या movie, perhaps? But that's still something everyone can look at, hear, या feel. Well, some of those make-believe friends, not actors, are things only you can look at, hear, and feel. Now those are called imaginary friends, as आप probably know. Imaginary फ्रेंड्स can be anything आप want them to be. An animal, a creature आप made up, a monster, या just another human being. There are rare cases when special people have imaginary फ्रेंड्स that...are not exactly in the afterlife. But, no matter what, whatever kind of friend it is, that one true friend will always be there for you.
Always.
Always.
Always...

Inspired द्वारा the song, "Looking Glass" द्वारा The Birthday Massacre.

"Waiting as I'm wanting to. Speaking as I'm spoken to. Changing to your point of view. I fade as I follow you. A boyish notion of false emotion. These words are spoken despite my love. A fool's devotion was set in motion. My eyes are open now."

I'd thought there was nothing wrong.

"He's really sweet, I promise," I'd said. They just didn't know him like I did. It made me angry. He really wasn't bad; just some anger management problems. That was no reason to be afraid.

Now I wasn't so sure.

"Look at me when I talk to you," he snapped....

I wanted until morning. I was actually able to still live in my room. It wasn't an aparition या anything weird. Like I never got bitten. Like I ran from him and was सुरक्षित with my family. When morning came, I grabbed all my dresses and ran to the nearest mall and looked at the directory. Upstairs. I went up the escalator. I slowly walked inside the shop. It felt eerie and dark. That frightful night played back in my head.

"Help! Someone!" "Mamma! Mamma! Mam-"

"M'aam? How may I help you?" I snapped back to reality. "Oh, I have these old dresses and I thought a thrift store could take them." I set...

It was the अगला day. I got dressed nervously, had Bruno thought I was a helper? I put on a blue कमीज, शर्ट that कहा "Do I Look Like I Care?" and skinny jeans. I ran outside to look for the bus, it wasn't there. I waited and waited, but it never came! I ran to school. I finally got to school no one was in the halls. I realized everyone was in class. I wrote a fake note in cursive the best I could. When I walked into class I gave the teacher the note. She read happily. Not looking angry at all, she कहा "Oh! I didn't give आप a note. It was saying the bus driver was sick and there were no subs availble. Sorry!" I replied with " It's fine"

"Honey, do आप feel guilty for what your parents did?" Dr. Bellamont asked. We were in the middle of a session that I was being forced to participate in. I shrugged. "I think आप do," she कहा quietly. I clenched my hands into fists. It made me mad that she assumed that. It also made me mad that she was also kind of right.

Dr. Bellamont went on for a while, saying about how it wasn't my fault for what my parents did. After a couple मिनटों I got sick of listening to her and blocked everything out. She sighed.

"Hecate? Are आप even listening?" she asked. I nodded, and she raised an eyebrow. I...

“Yes, that’s right,” I nodded my head. Trying to convince myself I was strong enough to do this. “I’m leaving you! You’re hateful and abuse me! I deserve better than you!” Kind of…
“You’re really going to leave me, Erik? But what about all the fun we had together?” He took another step toward me. I cringed, stop being so afraid, I sternly told myself.
“Fun for आप maybe. All I’ve gained from this relationship was these,” I stuck out my arm and pointed to my face. He only looked at me and shook his head.

"Are we there yet?" Hollis asked.

"Almost," Blake said.

"You're excited to see Aunt Dezzie, aren't you?" I asked, turning around in the passenger सीट of our car. Hollis grinned eagerly from the backseat. Even though Desiree is six years older than her, they still get along well. Desiree enjoys watching over Hollis, and playing with her niece.

We were driving out to Dad's house for Christmas. The whole town was covered in a thick blanket of snow, and it was still falling. We soon came up to the driveway. Blake got Hollis out of her car seat, and she ran up the sidewalk to Grandma...

Hollis was definitely a handful. But I loved her anyways. I never thought I'd have kids. At all. When I was younger, I'd always thought kids were annoying, gross, whiny, and a bunch of other non-enjoyable things. Sure, it was kind of annoying that I could barely get any sleep, but it wasn't Hollis' fault. She was just a baby. Even when I was sixteen and Desiree had been born, sure I thought she was cute. But I could've never seen myself having kids of my own.

Things have changed.

Hollis is now my whole world, along with Blake. Blake is everything and anything I could ask for in a husband. Hollis...

Celeste's POV

Honey, why do आप look so pooped out?" I looked up, it was Aunt Natalie, with her mellow look. "Ah, yeah I.. Never-mind, i-its nothing!" She tilted her head, I guess I just made it और suspicious.. She came and sat down अगला to me. "C'mon sweetie, आप can tell auntie anything!" She petted my head gently. Aunt Natalie was always a lot nicer than my mother, shes never too hard on me, and she really...

Angel's POV

All of my life, it's been pretty much very normal. With school, home, and learning some new spells. As a wizard myself, we have to keep our gift, a secret. There's nothing worse than confronting a witch. Ohh...! Just thinking about those ogres gives me the chills! The magical setting in our family wizard lair is deep in a closet. To tell आप the truth, it's rather large! If आप open my closet door (which is the entrance to the wizard lair) it will just be a normal clothing closet. But if आप cast a certain spell on it, the closet is now the wizard lair. My dad, Miguel is the full...

"Only if आप promise to never do it again," I warned. She nodded quickly.

"I won't. I promise."

"Fine," I sighed. "Besides, I'm not the one you'll need to convince to keep her mouth shut." Both of us turned to Desiree. She smiled evilly.

"Please, Dezzie. Don't say anything. I'll get आप a My Little टट्टू if आप do, ok?"...
